Our group of 4 couples, long time friends, got together for a weekend getaway in mid-winter. We were seeing a show in Portsmouth and made a weekend out of it. We were looking for a place to stay that had open living areas for the group to gather and had enough bedrooms with queen+ beds for all of us. This property was perfect for us! The open kitchen/living areas on the second floor provided a great place for socializing and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. Even though it was mid-January, access to the beach was a big plus for the views and taking a walk.

I live in MA and my family visited from TX for Thanksgiving. We stayed in this home for the holiday. It’s impeccable. The kitchen is incredible and well stocked. Beautiful beach and overall scenery. I look forward to staying here again.

This was an absolutely wonderful property! Not a single thing was broken (as is often the case in other rentals). Everything was spotless clean. Everything looks exactly like it does in the pictures, but was even more amazing in person. Beautifully decorated and spacious. There’s a wonderful mile and a half walk from house to Nubble lighthouse along water the whole way. It was soooo quiet, we all slept beautifully even though the houses are close together (although we went off-season.) kitchen fully stocked with every single thing we could need. We already booked for next year!! Host was very responsive and kind. Highly, highly recommend!!

We celebrated a special birthday with our adult children and three little grandchildren. The house was spacious and decor lovely; everything was fresh and new. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. Lila was very accommodating and easy to work with. We’d highly recommend this house!

Family time in this amazing beach house was perfect! The house and location couldn’t have been any better, we didn’t even want to leave to go out for dinner, we cooked in because the kitchen and the view couldn’t beat it! Lilia was great! All bedrooms, bathrooms, decks, outdoor shower with warm water, THE BEST! Thank you, would love to return again!!

This home is amazing and the location is directly across the street from the beach. It is immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated - the best. There were 5 women celebrating a 70th birthday. We all had our own room and one room has 3 beds in it. Look no further if you want to stay in this area - it was perfect in every way.

This house is perfect for our group of 10. The location is great the house is clean and has everything you need to cook in and lounge around. Quality mattresses and pillows. The host is easy to communicate with. Love the place we will return.

My friends and I get together annually to stay in touch since we are all over the country now. It was the perfect location to relax, explore the town, have peaceful mornings, and spend nights cooking in. The house was the perfect size for 12 of us with the right number of bathrooms and spaces for us to all hang out but not feel crammed. We loved our weekend adventure in York and would love to back again one day.

6 friends, looking for a relaxing weekend with a view for cooking in, playing games, attempting puzzles. We are a boring crowd!! We all fell in love with this home. The furnishings were tops and we did not want for anything. Lila was beyond generous with what she provided for our stay. We had a question regarding a breaker switch and she answered immediately. She was beyond reasonable when we asked about wiggle room for check-in/out times during the off season. We all want to live there but will settle on renting again for another weekend next year.

AMAZING HOME!

This house is stunningly beautiful!! The furnishings and décor are top notch. This house is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The master bedroom with the view and the sound of the waves was the BEST!! We did not want to leave. My husband and I spent quality time with our 3 adult sons and their significant others and our granddaughter. We all loved the house and the proximity to the beach. This house is so spacious that we all had plenty or room to call our own but had the open floor plan to hang out as a family playing games and making puzzles. Location was perfect - Long Sands right across the street. My husband, who is not a huge beach fan, was in his glory just sitting on the deck watching the waves. Lila was super easy to work with and the entire experience surpassed all of our expectations!! Thank you Lila for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and make more family memories at my favorite place - York Beach!!

The pictures of this house don't do it justice! It's absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated and it has a wonderful view of Long Sands Beach. It was perfect spot for us, our four children, their spouses and two grandsons. Everyone loved it and can't wait to go back!

We arrived on Good Friday to an immaculately kept home with the plan of hosting Easter with our close friends and family. Sometimes working in a strange kitchen poses obstacles but this kitchen was well stocked and we were able to have a wonderful Easter dinner. The house is located a short walk from Long Sands Beach and though it sits behind another house, it still has open views of the ocean. Our host was very easy to work with and we do appreciate how she cared for this home. We have stayed in a number of vacation homes but this one is on our short list of favorites. We hope to return in the future.

We rented for a couples get away. 10 adults very comfortable accommodations. House had everything in the kitchen. Very clean with quality towels an linens. Only very small detail.. the TV’s were a little confusing to get on regular TV. Location is great.. beautiful decor and view. Hoping to rebook.
