This spacious updated three-level five bedroom home is conveniently located just off East Mountain Road, situated between The Bear Mountain and Snowshed lodges. This home has all the comforts anyone could want. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub, and a large deck to see all the Vistas of Killington. The entrance level has a mudroom to store your gear as you enter the home. There is a bedroom featuring a bunk bed, (with a Full-size mattress over a Queen mattress), a full bathroom, and a large sectional in the family room with a queen sleeper. There is a widescreen TV with Chrome for casting and a gas fireplace to provide ambiance. Additional amenities include a regulation-size foosball table and a pair of comfortable chairs to enjoy conversations together. There is also a desk and chair, perfect for those emails or Zoom calls that just can't wait. The second level is sunny and spacious and boasts a beautiful living room with another gas fireplace. The eat-in kitchen is surrounded by windows that offer unobstructed views of the hills and mountains. A full bath with attached laundry and two bedrooms down the hall. Open the door and step out on the large deck with bar stools to sit and enjoy the beautiful Mountain views. The deck offers a dining table with seating for 8 (when warmer weather allows outdoor dining). Cook your burgers or steaks on the grill while you enjoy the outdoors. Views from the deck are spectacular, especially when sitting on the 4 comfy stools with a connected table for your drink or snack. The third level has two full bathrooms, each with a stand-in shower. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two twin beds. To ensure you are well rested for the next day's activities, all the queen-size beds are new Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. These are complimented with new Bedgear sleep cool pillows providing the perfect support. After a day of enjoying the many outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, or biking you can relax in the large outdoor hot tub. Sweet spot.. Got a ton of snow which was awesome and the hottub was perfect. Was really easy coordinating with the rental property team - they were super friendly and seemed to be familiar w the property which was nice.. They even double checked the hottub to confirm she would be running - awesome.. Only notes was that driveway didn't get plowed (very easily could have been our fault for poor car parking) and they actually plowed our driveway in.. which was kinda crazy. And then there was a really brutal sewage smell for like 2 hours in the basement and outside one of the days.. It went away tho. Overall the house is great - would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our family (my dad, siblings and their families (4 kids)). We had plenty of room and could comfortably all hang out together when we weren't skiing. The location is great because its tucked away at the end of the road so it doesn't feel like you're on top of your neighbors, but still extremly close to the mountain (Killington). Would definitely come back.

I had my bachelorette party here and had the best time with my friends in this house. The house is so cozy, but spacious at the same time. Best for cars that are good in the snow on hills. Highly recommend for a group of friends or family, and would totally rent here again!

The house is beautiful, very open and spacious! All the beds were very comfortable with nice soft sheets. Bathrooms on every floor made it convenient for everyone staying. The family room and kitchen had plenty of seating and we had all the amenities of a home that we needed. The lot is nice and private with plenty of parking and quick access to Killington Mountain. The hot tub is a must use especially when its snowing!

The house was in a good location in that it was quiet and tucked away from the main drag. However it had way too many beds for the small size of the kitchen and kitchen table. It was hard to pack a weekend of food for 8 into that fridge. And we had 10 people for dinner (still way less than the number of beds provided) and couldn't all fit around the table. It was very disappointing to not have a TV in the main sitting room and no one wanted to hang out in the basement where the one TV was because the rooms on that floor smelled dank and moldy. The bathrooms on the top floor were the size of airplane bathrooms, maybe ok if you were a child. And no table/lamp in one of the bigger bedrooms so I had to get out of bed to turn the light off and keep my water glass and phone on the floor next to the bed. The pillows were flat and hard. The gas fireplace would only turn on if you turned the thermostat up to 70! For the price of this house I did not feel like the amenities matched the asking price. Also there were bugs in the fridge when I went to put my groceries inside.

I had a wonderful time on my weekend at the Bear run property. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook or bake. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was the hot tub. I didn't think the jets were very powerful.

My family and I loved it !!!
The home was wonderful, very cozy, very spacious. We loved the area very quiet and warming for my family. We did have a morning visit from a cub bear whom the kids enjoyed seeming from the inside of the home. Upon calling management they instructed and guided us on what to do; we found that very helpful and allowed us to stay calm. The hot tube amazing!!! And the view from the top porch both in the morning and night was also amazing .
Only tiny, tiny issue was that all doors to enter the house being glass scared us after the cub appeared and that there was no dumpster on or near the property only a shaft that we were afraid to place the trash during our stay after the cub seeked for food.
We were about 15 total and no one wanted to go home; they wanted to extend the stay.
We loved the experience and would love to visit the home and Vermont in the near future. Would definitely recommend this location to everyone.

The location is a super convenient 5 minute drive to Killington. Just be careful getting up and down to the main road. It is steep and can get very slippery. Our 4x4 car had no problem, but I could see cars without 4-wheel drive having trouble. Recommend!

Bear Run MLK 2019
The Bear Run house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids, and it easily could have accommodated another 4. The only challenge was fitting everyone around the kitchen table at dinner time. Bedrooms were cozy.

We were greeted by the warmth of two fireplaces and beautiful views out windows on three sides! The house was well-suited for our group of two families and friends. Plenty of space, and two living areas made it easy to spread out. Cozy feel for such a large house. All enjoyed the hot tub! Plow and sanding services were timely. One rec would be a small vacuum or electric broom for living spaces.

We were originally staying at a different house but it flooded leading us to Bear Run. The management company clearly communicated this to us and offered various comparable and even better options. The house was in great condition, clean, comfortable, cozy, and accommodating. One minor thing is that check out is at 10am which is really early so when you're paying for two nights, it ends up equating to less than 48 hours and made for a rushed departure. Additionally, the walkways were icy and could've been treated a bit better. Those things aside, we LOVED Bear Run, highly recommend it - the location was great and close to the mountain and resturants, the check in/check out process was easy, and we really enjoyed our time there.

14 of my muddiest friends and I stayed at the Bear Run House for an extended weekend for the Spartan races at Killington. The location was key. A quick drive and we were at the course, and more importantly, after 26+ miles and countless hours the drive back was quick. The house itself was spacious and had tons of room for all of us to relax and recuperate. Killington Holiday Rentals were very friendly and professional as well. See you in 2017!

Travelled up there with a big group for President's day. The place was very spacious and housed us all very comfortably (we had 14). It's about a 5 minute drive to one of the lodges, creating an almost ski on ski off vibe. The house itself was clean with plenty of room for everyone to relax together comfortable. Overall really enjoyed our stay. There were a few draw backs, the property is on top of the mountain, only rent if you're going in an suv; two of our cars got stuck going up the driveway. The driveway was not properly maintained, when we arrived the entire driveway was ice; the next day when it snowed, I had to call to get the driveway plowed. Additionally; there were cob webs and spiders in the living room; it did not look as if it had been cleaned. Main room on first floor temperature was very cold, the thermosat either did not work or was hard to use (no instructions), unfortunately we did not get to use the room. Some wear and tear on some bed linens as well. Overall good experience, but wasn't blown away by the property.

Huge house, awesome hot tub, great location, but driveway needs to be paved!
I went with a group of 15 friends (ages 18-24) for the weekend. The house is exactly as pictured and we all had plenty of space. We were happy to see how clean and nice the house was upon arrival. We had a fantastic time at the house. Unfortunately, the Skyship Gondola was not open due to lack of snow (only half the mountain was open), so we had to drive to Snowshed base to park our cars everyday. This wasn't too much of a hassle, but we wish Skyship was open for the weekend! That would have made the location even better. It was about a 10 minute drive to Killington Access Road where all restaurants and bars are, so it was nice and close. We went out to dinner one night and went out to the Pickle Barrel another night, the drive wasn't a problem at all. The hot tub was awesome after snowboarding all day. It only fit 8 people, but we just went in shifts.
The only downside, and the reason why I gave 4 stars, is that the driveway is not paved, and it's steep. Most people had jeeps or cars that were good in the snow. However, we had one smaller car and one van in the group. The smaller car couldn't make it up the driveway at all, and the van got stuck at the top 3 or 4 times. I would recommend they pave the driveway in the summer so that they can properly plow it (since the driveway is gravel, there were uneven mounds of ice and snow throughout the entire driveway). The driveway being all jacked up made it more difficult to get up, even for the jeeps.
The other very very minor complaint is that with 15 people, we had loads of garbage and didn't quite have enough room for it in the outside bins. We also didn't get a lot of instruction on what to do with recycling and ended up putting it in the same outdoor bin as the trash.
Besides the driveway issues, we would definitely stay at this home again next year!!

Fun times
This home offers the most relaxful, warm setting for our fall getaway. It has the perfect layout inside for several families. The home is very well taken care of and extremely clean. We spent our nights in the living room around the cozy gas fireplace and the family room with it's huge television/entertainment center. The bedrooms were charming and very comfortable. You truly get away from it all; you are surrounded by such peace and serenity. One week is only a tease as all ten of us wanted more. Needless to say, we will be returning next October!

Great Ski House
A great ski house for a large group or family. Really nice to have the big family room on the first floor as well as the living area on the second floor so that people watching TV or playing games don't anoy people wanting to be quiet. Loved the peaceful location in the woods, but it's just off the main road and not far from the lifts and restaurants & bars etc. Plenty of bedrooms with a good mix of beds for couples, singles and kids.
House was in great repair, clean and tidy in early 2011, but I understand from Jimmy (the owner), that they have painted and renovated most of the first and second floors over the summer, so it should be even better now. Jimmy was extremely patient, very helpful and a great guy to deal with, I will definitely rent from him again.
