there is a bus opposite to the hotel that can bring you to those famous Beppu onsens :)
I really want to have a bottle of milk after having a public bath.
would be great if there are more facilities e.g. gym room, game room, larger souvenir shop :p

A very impressive experience here. No matter the facilities in room, the food from the restaurants, the onsen and the service of staff, are totally worth me to come back again.

The in room hot bath is not as the same as the picture in the listed. It looks super old and a bit dirty and small. feeling a disappointed. and the dinner reservation is not the Japanese typical one. they got three restaurants and didn’t let me know in Advance and didn’t ask me to choose. They just told me they reserved seafood restaurants when we arrived but that is not a seafood menu. and for breakfast, they even reserved a western buffet for us. Changed to Japanese restaurant for breakfast finally after negotiation. but affected my vacation mood already.

Great views, amazing dinner and very relaxing private onsen in our rooms. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Staff spoke good English and explained everything to us and were very polite and helped if we had any questions. We felt very well taken care of.

Beautiful ocean view from the lobby, restaurant and the room. The room was spacious and very well decorated, super clean and comfortable. The in-room bath was natural hot spring water generously flowing, which allowed us to enjoy watching the sunset and sunrise while soaking in the bathtub. The restaurant had great food and drinks. The service was magnificent. Breakfast buffet was gorgeous. You should find every thing excellent for the price.
The big bath at the main building was under renovation. But the in-room bath made up for the loss.

Everything was perfect, from the staff welcoming you to the breakfast buffet to the private onsen in your room. I could not ask for a better place to stay.

I loved the pool, jacuzzi & open air onsen in my room.
At this price point, was surprised that mini bar had nothing but water tea coffee. Also front desk was not willing to help me book outside restaurants before I arrived. This is not the practice of other Japanese hotels

If your emphasis is on food, then this resort is fit for Gourmands! We absolutely loved the food at dinner and breakfast (japanese style), and each meal, we ate till we were stuffed!
We were impressed by the international crew that the resort has on staff and everyone was diligent and friendly.
The room was very spacious and comfortable , with a good layout and view. The sunrise view was lovely from the balcony of the room.
Onsen wise, it is good, however, for the price, it is not as high quality as what we have experienced elsewhere. There's no selection of yukata, and no bath towels are provided (you have to bring your own from your room). The hair dryer was also weak.
We also wish there was a better/clearer view from the private onsen in our room. The installed netting affected the view.

It is a luxurious resort and I tried multiple times and finally got a room with private onsen and can see sunrise from the room. Really enjoyed our stay. The people there can speak multiple languages so there is no cummunication issue. And the hotel staff were very nice.
The location is right by the sea, but there are not many places to walk around. For one or two nights it is not an issue.

we had dinner last night at the Japanese restaurant and tonight at the western bistro. I had the wine pairing menu and I have to say the pairing was exceptional. kudos to the sommelier.
