It’s a bed

I needed a bed for the night so it did the job and was cheap. To pay £40 for somewhere to stay in Dundee on a Friday night is very good.

There was no cups or plates so the breakfast was pretty much null and void. I wasn’t expecting much with that anyway since I knew it was just a flat If you want something more than a bed, don’t stay here

You get what you pay for!

Comfortable bed and good WiFi

The room wasn't clean, the floor clearly wasn't hoovered. The kitchen was falling apart and there was no hot water in the tap. The room door lock was temperamental, I was locked in my room for 20mins one night. The electric radiator was erratic and I spoke to other people and found out it wasn't just me. The TV had no remote, you have to download an app to use Roku. There was no toilet paper, had to buy my own. The staircase is in darkness in the night and it's a spiral staircase, it's a death trap! The windows were single glazed and you can feel the cold and hear everything outside. The first night the cleaners tried to enter my room as I was sleeping too. But apart from that excellent 🤣

It is a worse place I have stayed.

The rooms were cold, heating was not working. No tissue in the kitchen. The environment was very dirty.

Property was very cold. It is not fit for commercial use.

Very disappointing

Good WiFi, the kitchen is fair, provision of breakfast and working TV

Cold tap water in all flat, dirty and smelling environment (entrance stairs) the room is always cold despite when heating is on, cold shower, smelling towels and stained toilet

We left early, only stayed 2 nights instead of 3

The frozen bread in the freezer, had been there for a long time, the tub with cereal was broken and the cereal was stale.... and that was breakfast..

The whole house was dirty, and so much was broken, I don't know where to start... it was so bad, we left a day early.

I had to cut my stay short at this pigsty. Everything is false and not fit for human habitation.

This accommodation is horrible and not fit for human habitation. It is located in a very dirty area, and the entrance is dirtier than any random path to a garbage storage. The stairs are littered and must have been cleaned some years before COVID-19. When we arrived at our location, we had to come out doubtfully not believing that there are people living there or currently occupied rooms upstairs, until we asked the neighbor who was parking. He said, laughing "That must be the place, I have been asked by other three people previously." It is a big shame that this 'pigsty' is still on Booking.com. Now story about breakfast is for another day, and it is traumatic to even think about it.

First,all but one picture are not about this place or anywhere near it. Images used are of iconic places in Dundee and very far from this pigsty. The place and the entry is like a pathway to the pigsty. That it is still in Booking.com is a wonder. This place should be removed already, it is not fit for human habitation, leave alone renting out to unsuspecting visitors. I wish I could attach the moldy smell too alongside the beautiful photos below: Dundee is a spectacular city, but avoid this accommodation at all costs.

Alright accommodation but small things to improve.

Beds were comfy and good heater once on for a while. Kitchen facilities OK.

On entry to building stair well very dark no lighting system had to use torch on my phone as could of fallen. Once in apartment area hallways were very cold and doorlock to room was very difficult to lock and unlock. Headboard at bed right side was slack and electric socket by beds with small light plugged in made buzzing sounds and is slack could be dangerous. Shower area in shared bathroom wasnt that clean and TV in room not working properly.

Not what I was expecting

The location was fantastic, the price was great, however the room really did not live up to expectations. This is a converted flat with remote access to the keys and I never saw any staff. Very strange, not at all what I was expecting.

Room was a little cold, wasn't that clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. Shower was basic and warm, but not great pressure.

Exactly the right price and environment for an enjoyable comfortable stay.

It was unpretentious, comfortable, had everything we needed and was clean. An easy walk from the station and good local takeaways. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

No privacy and this was not a room it was a share room for who is working during the day and staying eligibly during the night. smell very bad not clean at all

never ever and they have our personal id via Booking portal with i dont know why he need our personal data photo was very funny , we stayed in many other hotel none of them ask as such a question

Basic, bed, bathroom and breakfast facilities for a commensurate price, so neither good nor bad.

Selection of cereals and perhaps some toast. Longlife milk was not bad. Had a cup of tea from the kitchen. No cutlery though. Had to use a table knife to get sugar and stir tea. Plastic cutlery would have been a preferable solution. Location was close to city centre so that was OK. The hot shower was welcome.

Didn't have breakfast. The selection didn't offer much in the way of options for a hot meal at breakfast so we skipped that and went out for breakfast. The location was fraught with what looked like hoodlums or hooligan activity. All of which was on display while we were about to move our luggage. We had to stay put until the unfolding chaos passed. The stairs out of the main building stank of stale urine.

Totally disappointed, found it unclean and unwelcoming

I'm not being awkward or u reasonable when I say " I liked nothing about the place".

Emediatly when entering the property it looked poorly maintained. With a dirty concrete/ granite stairwell. At this point I remained optimistic, however the first room I came to was the kitchen. I noticed straight away the dirty marks around the door of the fridge and food debris inside. Possibly from previous guests but the rooms presumably are supposed to be cleaned every day. This just put me off using any of the facilities. To top thst there was no running hot water in the kitchen or bedroom. The bedroom was very dated with no cupboard to hang any clothes. What I found disgusting was that the toilet had not been cleaned since the previous guests. I had no intention of using the shower. I made the bed and slept on top of the duvet. This accommodation has so much potential, just a shame that the people thstbown the property clearly have very low standards don't care. The property was not expensive so I wasn't expecting a wow factor, just basic,but if their catering for the general public, there should still be a good standards of cleanliness, overall myself and colleague were totally disappointed

This place should be shut down, handrails are poorly made, and one door at the top of the stairs is dangerous as it leans over at an angle in the event of a fire residents could fall down stairs as the treads are too short for safety. They could face prosecution under trading standards as some of the information is only sent out after you have paid and if you tried to cancel refunds are not given.

Bed was hard and we had to make our own bed which was dirty. room was dirty & there was no staff at the premesis at all. Breakfast which was included was cereal just left in kitchen that anyone could have had their hands in, milk in fridge again anyone could have done anything to & bread in a freezer frozen.

Disgraceful and shocking and should be illegal to sell such a place to anyone

Everything Disgustingly filthy, stairwell to the room was awash with urine. The room was worse than a prison cell with filthy mould on the windows, dirty pot noodle cartons everywhere. Bathroom a severe health hazard with a disgusting mop and bucket jammed in. Linen was old and thread bare. Obviously we did not hang around too long but really disappointed to have lost so much money via booking.com who have always sold us good accommodation. This place should come with a health and safety warning and I feel a homeless shelter would be a step up

Horrendous experience in an unsafe and filthy apartment. Absolute worst short term stay of my life.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this property.

The front door leading to the apartments is left unlocked 24/7. This means anyone can wonder in - and they did just that. We were greeted by people injecting narcotics in the stairway. Leading up to the apartment, the stairs smell like a public restroom - which they probably are as a result of the open front door. Upon entering the apartment it was filthy. The toilet had been used and not cleaned nor flushed. When we opened up the bag of "clean linen" we discovered that the bed sheets were covered in stains (you can use your imagination for that one). When I messaged the property to complain about this - they said they would send someone to sort it out - shock of all shocks no one arrived. I sent a follow-up message and got no response, no apology - absolutely shocking hospitality. The "breakfast" consists of a variety of stale cereals which I wouldn't even recommend. The place does not feel safe at all, it is filthy in the apartment and it is way overpriced for what it is. I am shocked that Booking.com actually vetted and cleared this place, it should not be available for rent and should be removed immediately. If I can give you one piece of advise, DO NOT stay at Scotland Beds!!

felt i was just scammed send me your head office postal address

to recieve confirmation, by email money taken from my account .once confirmation was recieved one would expect booking to be solid, no it wasnt. i was sent a pin number ,what was the point of that ,i had to pay over £100 at premier inn. on this past experience i would not ever recomend this company
