Location, lovely quirky accommodation, feeding baby birds, everything! Really recommend. Enjoyed the church bells. Gorgeous peonies.

Probably need some fluffy towels and wardrobe space.

The houseboat is so great! The location is perfect! we absolutely loved staying here. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is so much to do nearby, so you can walk everywhere. Sitting on the porch and watching the boats and bikes go by is so nice. The beds were comfortable. Fake is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Overall we loved this place and would definitely stay here again!

It is a bit small, but this was expected. We had two adults and two kids and it felt tight. I wouldn’t recommend this for 4 adults. Perfect for a couple.

We didn't like having to leave Amsterdam!

The location was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable and the shower a great size for a boat.it was great to be provided with coffee and juice and beer.

The owner had agreed to meet us but instead sent his sister who doesn’t live in Amsterdam. She was unable to recommend restaurants . It would have been good to know he wasn’t coming himself. We felt that the boat needed a little bit of care .

A great homely property on the canal. Great hospitality with fruit and drinks available which was a lovely touch. the location is spot on and the houseboat is comfortable and has everything you need for just base or if you wanted to enjoy a Dutch life with some cooking and chilling too.

Sometimes there are noise coming from the outside from the passing boat but not on an unbearable level

We felt like locals sitting on the deck of our house-boat watching the canal boats and bird-life go by. Such a treat! Fake was an amazing host - welcomed us and showed us around - a huge bowl of fruit and fridge with drinks and snacks. It was very clean - a queen sized double bed and a king-sized sofa bed - perfect for our family of four. Great WiFi, TV, Netflix and music system. What a location!!! In the center of the grachtengordel/canal district just up from Westklerk surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. We’ll be back! Thank-you Fske for sharing this amazing home.

Nothing - though probably should realise that only one double bed and one sofa bed in an ‘open’ plan space so good to share with close friends and family. It’s a house-boat - so dining space is cramped for four but perfect for breakfast.

Gentle rocking made it easy to sleep. Wonderful neighborhood and easy to get around. Amazing restaurants just across the canal. The owner is wonderful and let us check in early after flying all night

The location can’t be best. Surpassingly easy to get to by car. The whole place was very clean when we arrived. Overall a positive stay and I have zero complaints.

I loved the location and the back deck. We caught perfect weather so sitting out back was amazing.

Here is the message, I sent to Fake (yes, this is the name of the host ) ; “ Excellent! 👌 Among the tons of visits we paid to Amsterdam, your houseboat has been by far the most peaceful and fantastic place we’ve ever had : Champagne with volutes of Vuergo Mareva Cigar watching the city as a permanent movie, waving at all the boats passing by and listening Frank Sinatra on your old record player ... This time, we have experienced Amsterdam in the deepest of our heart which convinced us (finally after 30 y) to always stay on a boat in this fabulous city which echoes our ideal of culture and cool way of living. We will definitely come back in your houseboat 😊 Thank you for Ducht welcome ! (Sorry we have eaten all the great fruits and drunk some of the craft beers you generously offered to us)
