Just a short stroll to Ala Moana Shopping Center, beaches, restaurants, nearby Kakaako and more. This building is situated in one of the best locations in the world famous Waikiki. Note: Coin operated washer and dryer are on each floor. (2 showers no bathtub) (No washer and dryer in the unit). No housekeeping/maid services during your stay. Beach chairs (3), Parasol (1), Beach towels (2), some buggie boards, sunorkels, inner tubes are in the unit. Early check-in $50!! Late check out $50!! Had the corner unit with floor to ceiling windows and doors, large size 2 bd 2 ba plenty of room for our family of four, stocked well with everything including beach equipment, boogie boards, etc.

This property was located in a great spot. The ocean views from the two Lanais were amazing. Lots of room for everyone. It was nice having restaurants and bars right below.

The property was great except that I could not turn the AC off in the master bedroom, and the unit was directly above my head - it leaked water the entire week......I had to move the bed out from the wall and put a towel under the unit. The location was great, everything else was good.

The 2-bedroom was spacious, cleanliness was average. I emailed kaina Hale and never got a response back. I reported the dishwasher didn't work and there was not enough toiletries for our stay (7 nights). We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags. Plus we could not use the dishwasher. With the parking at the ilikai being $45 a day on top of that, we would probably stay somewhere else next time thats closer to the

The parking at the elekai was $45 a day and other options nearby are limited. The dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash the entire week and we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. I wouldn't stay there again.

The location is awesome but the in keep of the suite was unprofessional. The comforters to the beds in both rooms were dirty/ smelly , the face / bath towels in both bathrooms/bedrooms were smelly and the furniture had stains on them, fingerprints all over the T.V , ice tray was broken and just laying in the freezer, the beach towels had stains all over them and the furniture pillows had stains all over them and the walls to the suite had different stain spots that are very visible all over as well. The stove is dirty, the rice machine looks bad. The entire suite also needs a dark shade all around the suite so your able to watch T.V. the sunlight glare comes straight through the shades that are there now.

Property is a wonderful place to stay, minus Cinnamons restaurant. Terrible service, limited menu items due to staffing. Many other options for dining elsewhere.

Totally enjoyed the view & the large 2 bed & bath corner unit. Love the Illikai property.
Appreciated the quick response of property manager with concerns with replacement coffee pot, kitchen towels & pillow cases.
The unit could have been cleaner & better appointed: needed pillow cases, better pillows, kitchen towels & laundry basket. Dishwasher doesn’t work well, toaster & blender very unclean. Nice to have some beach items: 3 towels, boogie boards & umbrellas (albeit both broken- one not usable). Laundry machines not working had to go to different floors to use. Loud from street below & 2 hour protest with megaphones from neighboring building.
Beds & furniture were comfortable enough. Large tv’s.
Overall nice unit but a bit tired. Mahalo.

Pros: Stunning views. Location is within walking distance to great shopping. Beautiful lobby and great restaurant (Pesca).
Cons: Lanais were filthy with soot. I understand that being in a city, things will get dirty but there was visible black dirt/soot on the floors, tables and chairs. Dishwasher was broken; this apparently was known since no dishwasher soap was available. Sofa bed was broken. Mismatched flatware and dishes. Old, stained, basic coffeepot. Beds had one very flat pillow for each side. Additional pillows (slightly stained) were available...but no pillowcases. Manager indicated in confirmation that valet parking was available for $28/day, but it actually was $45/day. Bedrooms were separated from living areas by wooden panels. Although we knew this when we rented the condo, it was more of an issue than we thought it would be. It was impossible for anyone to move around the kitchen or living room without waking those in the bedrooms.

Very nice location in the center of Waikiki and Honolulu. Easy to get to restaurants, beach, shopping. Property was clean and all amenities were easy to use and worked properly. The beds were comfortable and apartment was clean. Instructions to get into property were easy to understand and property management was professional and responsive. The only reason for 4 star was location of apartment was near main road and, although 14 stories high, the road noise was significant.

Pros:
-Prime location, walking distance to Waikiki Beach, stores, and retail.
-Great view of Waikiki.
-Property includes pretty much all the beach necessities (i.e. beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and etc)
Cons:
-Walls and windows are thin! Meaning you will hear loud music from the streets, every bus when it stops, ambulance, fire trucks at night, and obnoxious loud motorcycles and cars with mufflers.
-Bed comforters/ sheets in the 2 bed bedroom caused skin allergic reaction on day 2 of stay. Contacted property management regarding issue and they told me they couldnt send out the bed sheet replacement until the last day of our stay; which was disappointing.
-Found many tiny bugs that fly in the 1 bedroom restroom. Notified property management regarding bug issue and they sent ant traps.
Explanation of the 2 complaints Ive made. When I reached out to the property management, they just thanked me for notifying them but no actions were made until I had to reach out to them again to see if they can do anything about it. However the things they sent me did not fix the issues. First the tiny bug problem were not ants, it looked like bed bugs with wings, and they would only appear when there’s moisture in the restroom. Second, they told me they couldn't send the bed comforter and sheets until nearly the end of my stay. Not sure if they understood my complaints. But it was frustrating. Therefore it will be my first and last time staying at this property.

a)room door lock totally not work, it is too bad , ,housekeeping directly went in without knock door, after she realized wrong room she still kept looking around to confirm whether it is she looking for
b)shampoos is poor quality, make your hair is so sticky
c)kitchenware is so limited, also dishwasher, stove not work properly
d)not good enough bath towel provided for a week stay

As others have observed, the view and the location are excellent. While there is some city noise, this unit is much quieter than a unit we rented at the Ilikai on a prior trip. The sad part is that, with some simple maintenance, this property could be SO much better. The pots and pans, dinnerware, knives, and glassware are inadequate, or downright unusable. They are thrift store quality. Others have mentioned the terrible condition of the dishwasher, yet it has not been fixed. The toaster does an excellent job of setting off the smoke alarm. To their credit, the realtors did advise us that the couch could no longer become a bed. The furniture needs some attention, and some painting would help. I took lots of pictures upon arrival and departure to protect myself “just in case”. If you can ignore the negatives and just look at the view, this is a good place.

Beautiful condo with an excellent view. Sunsets from the balcony were stunning!
The master bedroom heard more road noise.
I had stayed in this area before and liked it. Buses stopped out front, and rental cars available here and across the street. A walk to Beach Walk street was just over half a mile, and Waikiki just beyond. The pool is great and we loved the lounge pool on level 2. The lagoon and beach are very close.
Very nice place! It had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach towels and beach equipment.

This is our 3rd time staying at the Ilikai, but our first in this condo. Loved the views, the 3 separate beds (a must for my teen and pre-teen boys), the air conditioning and the decor. We like being near the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but near the end so it’s easy to come and go. We would definitely stay here again.

Really spacious apartment
We were a family of 5 and the layout and size of the apartment was perfect for us. Views were amazing and within walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Great location and view!
The location was great, easy access to the beach and a great view. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, but that may be personal preference. The property was clean and just as advertised. The appliances are older, but work.

Great family getaway
Our condo was exactly as described. Perfect view of the marina and a little walk to the beach. The condo was in a prime location, near shopping malls, beach and near the Aloha tower. We enjoyed the views and the room very much, the only things wrong were the towels smelled like mildew and the fan was very noisy when turned on. Other than that, we had an amazing stay and would use this location again.

Stunning Views!
Beautiful property with stunning views. The unit is spacious, tastefully decorated, and was exactly as pictured. There were a few kitchen items that in my opinion needed attention - a new dishwasher (the current one has broken, rusted out baskets), and more dishes (plates, frying pan, water pitcher, serving bowls and plates). Our family enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time in Oahu. Condo was in a great location and easy to walk everywhere. We didn’t need a car. Plenty of room. The only minor issues were no drawers in the second bedroom and kitchen missing a couple things ( oven mits, pizza pans).

Great condo with beautiful marina/sunset views. Kitchen is well appointed. Linens plentiful. Great location outside of the middle of Waikiki. This is our 6th time staying at the Ilikai and our first time in this condo. Will definitely stay in #1410 again!

Great views. Kitchen could use a few more utensils. Beds comfortable and bathrooms good and well stocked. Definite traffic noise but it is the city. Liked that is outside the big hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
