Very convenient location in a nice, quiet area

Our host was a great communicator and we had everything we needed for a nice stay in a very comfortable bed! Smart TV was a nice bonus. Just beware the robin that might pay you a visit in the early morning, it pecked and scratched at its reflection for a while. Tip: if it happens to you, just use the cranks to open the windows!

My first time using Airbnb... never again!
My first time using Airbnb... never again!
I recently moved to the area from Idaho. I had friends coming to visit me from Idaho and we wanted to spend the weekend biking and hiking. We all agreed that the pictures of the condo made it look amazing. When we walked into it, we were horribly disappointed. It was filthy. It was late so we stayed one night then moved to a hotel.

Nice Condo and Great Location
Nice Condo and Great Location
So we did have a bit of trouble finding the condo. This could have been due to the mounds of snow, but we got out and walked around when we saw numbers close to #10 and found it around the corner. We didn't see a parking sign for #10, also could have been due to mound of snow, but was able to park across from the other signs that were not marked. The condo, was nice and very convenient to the slopes. It was quite cold when we arrived, so we had to turn up the heat, but after we warmed up, it was quite comfortable.

Adequate lodging in Squaw Valley
Adequate lodging in Squaw Valley
We just returned from a three-night ski vacation in this condo. I'm happy with our overall experience, however, there are numerous issues that should be improved for future guests.

Our family, two adults and two children, wanted to stay in a convenient location to Squaw for what we had hoped would be an epic ski vacation. Unfortunately, there were blizzard-like weather conditions that downed power lines on the mountain and dumped 28 inches of snow in 24 hours. Skiing was out, so we spent a good amount of time in and around the condo.

PROS:
- good amount of space: we never felt crowded
- a good layout for our family: all of us fit easily in the master bedroom, and the the two bathrooms came in handy
- new appliances in the kitchen
- nice dining table that accommodated our whole family
- washing machine worked fine and the included detergent was helpful
- management was responsive

CONS:
- no toilet paper: upon arrival, there was an empty roll in one bathroom, and the other bathroom had barely anything. We had to drive to the store in a blizzard to buy some. Management brought two more rolls the next day.
- hall closet doors were off their hinges and just lying there. All those dirty cluttered closet items were on full display the whole time we were there. This needs to be fixed.
- clutter in the closets: linens were thrown on the floor of the master closet instead of being neatly folded and put away, hall closet was full of cleaning supplies, broken furniture, and other random items so we had no usable space.
- kitchen cookware/bakeware is very old and blackened with use.
- the condo didn't feel clean: hairs in the utensil drawer, lip marks on some glasses, cobwebs on most light fixtures
- no reaserved parking space: it was probably due to the blizzard and 10 feet of snow piled in the parking lot, but we could not find our unit's dedicated parking space. Perhaps a map would be helpful.
