My family and I had a wonderful time at this property! The view from the balcony and bedrooms is incredible. The sound of the waves throughout our stay was very relaxing!

The wrong gate code was given, spent 20 minutes trying to get connected... they connected me incorrectly to someone in Maryland, but after another 15 min was able to get the Janitor code to enter.
Bed spreads were dirty and stained, had to change them myself.
The view is spectacular, condo is a little old, but right on the beach. The best part is both bedrooms have an ocean view. Liked the feel overall except for the two snags mentioned.

Loved the view and the remodels throughout the entire condo.
If I had to review what needed work… the photos are deceiving., there were no beach towels yet they are shown on the beds.., no blankets,,, and the patio furniture needs updating… also need lots of quarters to do any laundry .. would have liked to have known these few items prior to arrival.

You are video taped each time walking in to the 6th floor lobby which was comical

What a great condo with an amazing view. This condo was so cleanly and everything was exactly like the pictures. The best part is the view from the windows in each bedroom and off the balcony. You are literally right on the ocean. I don't think I've ever been so close. Everything in the condo was spotless on arrival and check in/out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything was fine except the lack of response to a problem report.
We reported the sink in the master bath was not draining properly the first day. The total response was to thank me for reporting it.
Great big help. We put up with a sink that kept filling up with water fo the entire week.

Our family enjoyed working with vasca. It was super easy and we got updates thru the entire booking process. The app was a blessing also. The company called us when water was going to be shut off for maintenance during our stay to make sure we were informed even though there were signs all over the building. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The pool area was nice also. There is a storage closet in the basement with beach items. The good thing is that you walk right past it on your way to the beach so you could leave your personal stuff in there rather than dragging them up to the condo. We liked the keyless entry to the condo and enjoyed the peace and serenity of the condo. The size of the condo was perfect for a family of 6 with three queen beds that were comfortable. The couch could be used for another guest. You can cook in or go out because the condo is very close to restaurants and shopping. We were there over July 4th and the beach area for our condo was not crowded and was made up of friendly families staying at the condo or visiting people that lived in the condo. The balcony looks straight out to the beach and pool and we loved the fact that the beach was so close to the condo. When laying on the beds it looks like you are on a cruise ship with the beautiful water right outside your window. I highly recommend this condo. The price was very fair for the area and we really enjoyed our vacation and will definitely return.

Let me start by saying that overall the stay wasn’t bad. It was a nice location with a generally clean condo and a nice building with beach toy storage below and easy access to the pool and the beach.
That said, my family and I had several problems which were brought to the attention of Vacasa but never addressed. (Character limited, so listed briefly below)
1. The listing specifically mentions a washer and dryer, leading one to believe that they are in the unit. This is not the case. There is a laundry room for the whole floor with a single washer and dryer. They cost money to use and there is no money/change machine there. We chose this location over another because it had a washer and dryer… or so we thought.
2. The ice maker in the freezer didn’t work, nor did the water (from the fridge). Vacasa was notified and although we were given assurances that local staff would come take a look, we never saw anyone. There were no ice trays either, so we bought ice from the store.
3. Although we found this listing on VRBO, Vacasa is a much larger national company and there wasn’t a local POC.
4. Dirty floors and linens
5. Almost no pots, pans, mixing bowls, or other prep stuff. Those that were there were extremely cheap.
6. Garage clicker is pointless. Doors always open.
7. Minimal/no extra towels or linens
8.No drain plugs in sinks. Better take off rings.
9. Shades don’t cover windows fully for sea turtles.
10. Dull knives with no way to sharpen.

The views were incredible, but they did not disclose there was no way to get to the beach except to walk all the way around the complex, so that was very inconvenient. There was no manager on site to check in with when we got there and the next day I went down to the office 3 separate times, office door was open, but no one was around. They also called and said there was something wrong with the master bed and they wanted to come fix it. They would call me the next day to schedule something. They never called and just showed up and still had to come back the next day. Again, the views were incredible, but I was displeased with some of the other issues.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor of a 10-storey house with about 70 apartments right on the beach.
The rental was done via Vacasa, all the essential information (access code etc) came from Vacasa via email and SMS. Access on Sunday then worked. No personal check-in.
The service of Vacasa was good, after some SMS traffic Brian from Vacasa visited us and corrected some shortcomings.
The apartment is actually very nice, but much (unfortunately too much) is not in order. The apartment urgently needs some love and care.
Balcony:
Not very large, but directly over pool and beach and therefore with wonderful views.
Balcony is furnished with 2 small chairs (unfortunately one of them was broken) and 2 high chairs with table.
Living room:
The small sofa has a broken surface and is therefore crooked and uncomfortable.
Large sofa has a wooden top under the seat cushions and is therefore not very comfortable.
Two light bulbs did not work (this has been fixed by Brian).
The runner to the balcony is terrible (with plastic underlay, therefore very slippery, enormous risk of tripping)!
No internal blinds to the balcony; external blinds not operable.
Kitchen:
The equipment of the kitchen with crockery, glasses and cutlery is a bit “colorful” and only mediocre.
The ice maker did not work on arrival (this was also fixed from Brian).
The frying pan is better suited than a rotary plate – it is hardly on the hob anymore.
Kitchen paper, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing tablets and a kitchen towel were available, wipers were not.
Master bedroom:
The bed is good, but very springy (when one gets up, the other jumps. . . )
The bed lamps in the master bedroom are nice, but very impractical (you have to get out of bed to get to the switches. . . ).
The sliding window can only be opened with a tool.
Guest bedroom:
Furnishing: 2 beds, a chest of drawers, a shelf, a small bedside table. In terms of lighting there is only one
- just ONE -) lamp in the corner (who wants to read in bed in the evening is unfortunately wrong here. . . ).
There is no ceiling fan; one of the two windows is missing the roller blind.
The decoration is loveless, the pictures on the walls are hanging lopsided and don’t fit together.
Bathrooms:
Sufficient towels (also for beach and pool) are available.
The fan in the master bath was terribly loud (not repaired during our stay).
General:
Which was very unpleasant: The constant buzzing of the pool pumps (24/7) was not very loud, but still audible. It was very disturbing at night.
Cleaning supplies were very sparse (from Vacasa something was delivered, the landlord has brought us on request then also a vacuum cleaner).
Beach items (umbrella, chairs, etc. ) must be stored in a basement room, which is closed to tenants. We found a few old beach chairs hanging outside, on request we got an old umbrella from the landlord.
The house rules seem to us medieval – so you have to be dressed on the way between pool/beach and apartment (a wrapped towel is not enough, but there is also no dressing room).
The atmosphere in the house is rather unfriendly. Apparently tenants here are not liked in the house or unwanted as guests, one is rarely greeted. Some housewives have slandered us to the landlord of our apartment.
The sandblasting works at the pool fence, which were not announced to us in advance, caused a lot of noise and dirt over a total of 7 days (May 3rd – 06th and 9th – 11th). The sand and paint residues were blown up to the balcony and the windowsills. We received a certain reduction in rent from Vacasa..
Value for money: just enough. We would not rent this apartment anymore and can not recommend...

Enjoyed staying in this 6th floor condo with direct beach access and a nice pool. Easy in and out of condo and good location. Everything is as advertised in photos. Living room loveseat should probably be replaced but other than that the stay was very enjoyable.

Very nice rental condo in a great location. Convenient to beach, restaurants, parks and all the attractions of Daytona Beach. The condo unit itself is clean, secure and has a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking tools you need. Also provided are basic toiletries.
Our only complaint is that the couch is older and not comfortable to sit on for long. But we didn't spend a lot of time indoors while there, so it wasn't really an issue.
Overall, I highly recommend this unit!

Great oceanfront rental!
Very nice rental condo in a great location. Convenient to beach, restaurants, parks and all the attractions of Daytona Beach. The condo unit itself is clean, secure and has a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking tools you need. Also provided are basic toiletries.

Easy access to the relatively quiet beach through a gate. Ormond Beach has a nice downtown with restaurants and shops a few miles to the south. There are a few strip malls close to the condo. Lenny's pizza is really good (New York style). There is a breakfast place next to Lanny's that has good reviews but it was closed over Thanksgiving weekend so we didn't get to try it. Dunkin Donuts is a half mile up the road. Ormond is way nicer/calmer than Daytona and you can always drive down there.
