Everything from the light floors and contemporary furnishings to the beachy decor and well-equipped kitchen will allow each guest to feel at home in no time. Before heading out for exciting days spent on the warm sand, brew a fresh pot of coffee and head up to the rooftop terrace to breathe in the cool, salty breeze in bliss. This terrace can also be just the place to fire up the private gas grill and look out to the ocean with loved ones. If you have had enough sunshine for one day, the living area on the top floor will be just the place to watch a favorite movie on the TV and cozy up on the sectional as the fire flickers nearby. Don't wait a minute longer! The beach is calling your name. THINGS TO KNOW Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Great location. Perfect walking distance to Cardiff and drive to Encinitas (beauty walk to encinitas if you don’t mind the mile walk). Only problem we’re the ants. They got into my moms birthday cake :( don’t leave anything on the counter cuz they will get into it! Also had a problem with one of the bathrooms, but we were able to fix it. Customer service was always fast to respond

Pros: GREAT location! Cardiff is a neat little chill town that still has some old-school beach town vibes. Easy access to good food, market, shopping and beaches. -Good amount of sleeping space and bathrooms. Generally clean and well equipped for vacationers. Enough space for everyone to spread out. Cons: -Ants in every room every day we were there including in one of the beds. My father-in-law spent each morning spraying insecticide in his room and bathroom. -Clogged/slow draining shower. I took a very quick shower after I realized the drain wasn’t draining properly and was left standing in inches of water. -Water leaking from the fridge. You could tell that it’s been a longterm problem because the hardwood has been affected.

We had a great stay. We loved how close it was to the beach and the cute town. Parked the car in the garage and never drove it for the weekend because everything was right there. Loved the rooftop patio!

Thank you. Home is very nice in nice quiet location. 10min walk to beach. Good restaurants, grocery, coffee and donuts walking distance. Excellent ocean view from deck.

This house was perfect for our Cardiff retreat. The beach was walking distance as were great restaurants, a Starbucks and a fantastic healthy market for provisions. There was plenty of space in this house and it was clean. The rooftop patio was great for watching the sunset together. Loved our stay!

Loved the location, close to the beach and shopping. Large spaces and bedrooms. Had a couple of issues with the toilet and fridge but nothing major. There's also an orange tree out back that was full of ripe fruit!

This home offers the perfect location if you are visiting San Diego's North County, The home is spacious and features an ocean view from the rooftop deck. Having a garage in a beach community is a real bonus.

While the kitchen is stocked with every appliance, pot, pan, and utensil one would need for any meal, there were no spices and, other than an almost empty bottle of olive oil, no other ingredients provided. So, come prepared or plan on shopping soon after you arrive.

We were very comfortable during our stay.
