We were a group of 5 retired fishermen. Hickory Lodge is conveniently located right off HWY 259 and a 10 minute drive to fishing on the Mountain Fork river. A number of great places to eat are nearby, as are two breweries. The cabin is very comfortable and has all the appliances and amenities you’ll need to make your stay pleasant.

The stay was good . The cabin was very clean and spacious. Had a mishap on checkout morning. Ended up having surgery. Hochatown ambulance was quick to respond. Otherthan that the stay great

We had 6 adults staying at the cabin for 5 days. It was very spacious and clean. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and found all utensils we needed to cook. The hot tub was great even on a hot summer day. :) The fireplace was perfect for smores and hanging out. The beds were comfortable and clean. The master shower was awesome! Even though we were not far from the highway we still felt miles away. Quiet and peaceful area. Very short drive to the state park and local restaurants.

My family of 7 stayed at this cabin for 2 nights and 3 days. The listing was very accurate. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped. They had enough towels for my whole family to use for 2 nights. Justin communicated well and the instructions were very clear. The location of the cabin was perfect as well, very close from all the places we visited. Will definitely visit again!

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was absolutely perfect. The cabin is great, spacious and clean. It has all the things you would need to cook. Well stocked. The bedrooms were great too. Comfortable beds, and the AC worked really well, which was important with this very hot weather. It also had a washer and dryer. The jacuzzi was an added bonus. I also loved the location. The cabin is just south of the south 259A entrance, and south of Hochatown so you miss all the crazy traffic that can happen during the long holiday weekends. It's nearby Buffalo Grill, you can walk there, but far enough no to be impacted by folks dining there. There are some other cabins nearby, but you have enough privacy. The outside firepit and horseshoe game are great. The owners are awesome too. I have stayed in this area for many years, and this has to be one of my favorite cabins and location. We will be staying here again. Highly recommended!

The property was great! The owners were very responsive from booking through the stay and after. They followed up a lot! It was just the space we needed for a college student leadership retreat. When we first checked in, the cleaning crew had not been there yet, so we reached out to Justin and the apologized, immediately reached out to their crew and it was immediately taken care of and they gave us a $100 credit for the delay. Very accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend them and their property. Thank you!

The cabin was as described in the listing. Beautifully devorated and very comfortable. Though it sits among other cabins, there were enough trees between to make it quiet. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the blue jays and redheaded woodpeckers. The hot tub was wonderful! Beavers Bend state park is just around the corner and was beautiful as well! All in all, we would rent this cabin at least once a year!

Beautiful home in the woods. We had plenty of space for 5 young-senior adults to enjoy the scenery and the huge wrap around porch. Beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities of home. We had one rain day in our weekend and sat on the porch during the rain the whole day just visiting. In the evenings we enjoyed the spa hot tub and cooked a meal in the large kitchen. The Buffalo Grill had fantastic music and dancing featuring “Alex & Liv Music” and was a quick walk to enjoy the music and eat. Fantastic time!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom shower was wonderful! We loved that there was a bunk room which can be hard to find with vrbo rentals. My kids don't like to share a bed so having a bunk room was great! Communication with the owner was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin; quiet and cozy with all the amenities for a fantastic vacation. Comfy couch and easy chairs in living room. Beds were comfy and great shower in master suite. The kitchen is well laid out for easy meal prep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Justin kept us well informed and up to date on next steps.

We enjoyed our stay and it suited our family of 5 very well. It's a short distance from the Hochatown activities, as well as the state park. Only downside was I wish it was further away from the main road but otherwise we had a very nice stay and it was a great getaway.

We used this property as a home base to enjoy our Broken Bow family vacation. Close to everything we wanted and even in walking distance to a restaurant. Unfortunately, due to a water main break due to some nearby construction, we spent almost an entire day without water. We contacted the owners and they were very responsive and kind. Obviously Out of their control, but they bent over backwards to help. Highly recommended.

This was an Absolute Perfect cabin for our stay. Justin made everything Perfect. The checkin process was super easy and the cabin was just what we hoped it would be. We stayed 8 days and never had an issue. The huge front porch with the large table was more than accommodating for our crew of 4 adults and 2 children. I HIGHLY recommend this property as it is right off the main road but far enough back that there is no road noise at all. It is right smack in the middle of anything you want to do. A very short drive to food,the lake, kayaking or just sitting by a creek with your toes in the water. We give this cabin 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Because that’s what it deserves. I promise you will not be disappointed

We visited in mid May of this year when it was already quite hot outside. Hickory Lodge Cabin was so inviting and cool as we entered. Everything was in place, clean, and there was nothing we needed that had not been provided. (it had much more than listed on website description) The cabin was relaxing inside and out, with plenty of room for the 8 of us. For any concerns or questions I had, Justin gave a quick response. It is very obvious he is very passionate about making sure his guests have a great experience. The only thing I have a complaint about is...I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME THERE....but that's on me. This is not a complaint, and certainly nothing to deter anyone from enjoying this awesome cabin; but something to think about, is to make sure your car is not ground low; unless you know how to maneuver through the short unleveled path that leads to and from the cabin. The other ladies had no problem with their cars, and once I figured out the strategy to prevent the bottom of my car from dragging on the raised areas of the ground, I was good to go....In a nutshell, nothing but fun fun fun!!!....Thanks Hickory Lodge 👍 👍

Had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin! The cabin is perfect just like the pictures. Rooms are spacious and comfortable the kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We had amazing time making s’mores in the fire pit and grilling some steaks. Can’t wait to plan another trip and make more memories.
