Captain Roy's is the perfect hideaway. Right on the beach. Across the road from Killers Seafood. Three covered decks brand new everything. Just steps from the beach. It's the perfect spot for creating treasured memories with your family and friends.. This is our favorite place to be and hope to share it with people who love it as much as we do. Sharing it with others brings us joy because it’s such a blessing to us when we are able to come to the beach. We lost it too Hurricane Michael and are thrilled to have been able to rebuild and get our peace of paradise back. Everything in it has been selected, collected and custom made over the last 3 1/2 years as we’re trying to turn a dream into reality. We would love you to come stay at the beach relax. It’s perfect anytime of the year.

I first visited Mexico Beach in 1991 and this was my first trip since 2017. While they are still recovering from hurricane Michael in 2018, it is the same piece of paradise I have enjoyed for years and the local residents are just as friendly as ever. This trip I traveled alone and spent time in thought and self reflection. Long morning walks on the beach and afternoons soaking up the sunshine is an ideal way to relax, rewind, and recharge. Captain Roy's was the perfect place to reconnect and heal with my "unforgotten coast." It was everything I had hoped it would be except my stay wasn't quite long enough. I will return soon and often and hope to stay at Captain Roy's or another of LaGenia's properties when I do.

What an absolutely beautiful property. LOVE the 3 levels with outside areas on each. Great location. Steps to the water. Gorgeous views and amazing sunsets. If you’re looking to relax and listen to the waves crashing, this is the perfect spot. I’m so glad I took a chance and tried a new area. We fell in love as soon as we arrived. This place is so much better than we could have imagined. The unit has everything you need. We can’t wait to come back, and you can’t go wrong with this lovely home. Thank you for sharing it with us 😃

I really don’t know what to say, except that we WILL be back next year for a longer stay. The couple that accompanied us was impressed! The home was very clean, the beds were very comfortable!! The location was on point, the local food trucks deliciously hot! The amenities gets a thumbs up. I want to say thank you to the host LaGenia for being so kind and patient she’s amazing!! Vrbo was very helpful in assisting me on my first Vrbo booking.

This was a very nice condo. Clean and beautifully decorated. We loved how close the beach was and the different balconies! I would say that the stairs were the only part we didn’t enjoy but it was fine. If you cannot do stairs this is not the place for you. Also, it is remote. Not a lot of nightlife or tons of restaurants or activities nearby. That was just fine by us because we wanted a quiet week. We loved the beach because it wasn’t crowded at all and the sunsets were amazing! If you like the night life this won’t be the place for you. If you love quiet and beautiful views you should go!

Really enjoyed our stay at Captain Roy's. We spent a week in late September and the weather was great and not many crowds.
The home was really nice, and we loved having multiple levels and balconies. So nice to have the covered patio/garage level to keep our beach gear and offered a lovely shaded and breezy area to relax and read. Mere steps to the beach and we often were the only people out there. We saw lots of fish, rays and dolphins and found some nice seashells too.
The townhouse was perfectly clean on arrival and was well stocked with extra linens. Great kitchen supplies and cookware and all appliances worked well.
Home is very quiet, even when we had some neighbors arrive later in the week we could not hear them through walls or outside. Slept great.
Would definitely recommend and we'd stay here again. Thanks!

My cousins and I met for a few days at the beach. Captain Roy's is exactly as pictured and described. There are 15 steps up to the front door and 18 to the upstairs, but it was clean, comfortable, and the view of the beach is marvelous! Had one question for the property manager and she promptly replied. Thank you!

Our stay at Mexico beach was great we have been coming for over 28 years. The house we stayed in was beautiful since the rebuild. The only thing I would add to the house would be more towels and a set of Pyrex bowls for microwave use

Love this quiet beach town! Captain Roy’s was perfect in every way! Master bedroom mattress too soft for me but other than that it was perfect. It was extremely clean and so beautifully decorated! Access to the beach is the best we have ever experienced! Hope to return next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Condo was beautiful. We explored the area and it was nice to come back to a great place. We especially enjoyed the pod of dolphins every morning feeding just feet from shore. We will definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect condo for my wife and I. Walk down the stairs and you are on a wide clean beach with sugar white sand.
The unit was extremely clean and very updated. Beautiful views from both balconies.
It's hard to imagine anything nicer. Mexico beach is much more laid-back and far from being crowded. We are looking forward to returning.

This place is great, very clean and comfortable. Loved the location and all the decks, especially loved the parking area with the sofa and chairs, it was a great place to hang out and meet all the others guests. There is also a gas grill that we used and that a surprise because I didn't see a grill listed anywhere. The place was great, I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, nicely decorated, and super convenient! It was the 1st time coming back to Mexico Beach since my wife passed away and hurricane Michael! Spent a very special weekend with my GREAT NIECE and friend that has since been deployed.

I have to admit, it was a bit concerning when we first got there. We thought maybe it was forgotten that we were checking in that day. We weren’t sure when we walked in if there was someone else already staying there. Apparently someone had come to hook up the televisions and there were boxes, wire stripping’s, plastic tie straps, etc all over the floors in the living room and bed room as well as clothes hangers scattered all over the bed I’m the guest bedroom. There was also a terrible ant problem in the kitchen over by the bar on the side where the dinner table is, and also in the master bath. My husband purchased some ant spray and tried to control the problem. We both had multiple ant bits during the night. We left the spray under the kitchen for the next visitor just Incase the problem was still happening when they arrived. Over all we loved the place, it was a great location and we would love to stay in the complex again wether it be in that one or a different one there.
