It’s a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nice and cozy but the beds were not comfortable. If that doesn’t bother you then you will love it. One more thing is the deposit for the room is $250 and it takes almost a full 30d to refund the $ back to your bank.

Quiet and nice place, service good, breakfast was good

The property, facility and breakfast service was excellent. A huge drawback for us was that it is NOT anywhere the University which was our reason for this trip. We visited from another state so finding our way on complicated freeways and surface streets presented issues.

Clean, comfortable, staff friendly. Room was a bit small. Breakfast was good, both carb and low carb choices!

We were traveling with our little dog, and the employee that checked us in thoughtfully placed us on the first floor, near an exit.
This property sits with more Marriott hotels.
Breakfast is included, and was tasty. Be prepared to pay for parking.

it was what we expected, a room to stay in. Even though they wanted to charge extra for everything it was still a good value.

The room was outdated and didn't have the best cleaning. Also, there's no fridge or microwave. If you bring a car, the parking fee is $10 per day, however, there's no parking pass and they don't check. The parking fee information was not given at any time before check-in.

Very nice and comfortable. Will stay again.

Just passing thru town and needed a place to stay close to the Cal Expo. This place had good reviews and we gave it a shot. Free continental breakfast, friendly staff, working Wi-Fi were the pluses. Charging a guest to park is a bit much. The one big knock I have on this place is out of their control. Its pretty close to the train tracks. The trains come in during the wee hours of the morning and blast their horns over and over. It was hard to get a good night sleep with the trains.

It was great. The employees were very polite and courteous. Thank you for the harm welcome.

Everything was amazing except the housekeepers knocking on our door at 9am

The people at the front desk were very nice. My room definitely could have been cleaner and it seemed run down. The bathroom constantly smelled like sewage. I stayed for a week and my room was only serviced once (I had my do not disturb sign up two of the days). The breakfast was good.

The hotel was nice. Average. Nothing good or bad. Just average.
Liz, who worked the front desk was excellent! Very personable, friendly & made me feel right at home. I was traveling by myself so this was a plus.
The noise from the train kept me up both nights. Nothing to do with the hotel, but hard when you’re needing your sleep while on business & traveling. Was, for sure, a negative effect on my stay.

Our checking in was great service even when husband left his key and got locked out. Front desk did a great job to call up to room to confirm and allow him up to our room. The facility itself was very clean and not dirty. On the other hand our room was terrible. Both the room and the bathroom were very small. The bathroom door had to be propped open with the garabage can in the room just to stay open. For closet space they have a two door chest closet that wasn't secured to the wall and the doors kept opening by themselve constantly. If any kids were to pull on those doors the whole closet chest would just fall foward and seriuisly get hurt. Room not kid friendly also because windows are able to fully open with a screen that was ripped in the corner being on the third floor of the facility. When using the refrigerator it kept tilting forward. The bed itself was the only good thing in the room. The free breakfast wasn't bad but not that great. For the price of the services they need to do some major upgrading. My husband has stayed at different hotels throughout the state. For the price of this place it's hands down by far not worth it. It felt like we were staying at a motel 6.

Great stay. Room was clean and comfy. Bathroom was big and my Mother was happy about several handicapped rails in the bathroom and tub/shower. Woke up late so we caught the end of breakfast but it was good and the attendant was super nice and helpful. 5 stars

Location convenient off freeway, popular area. Hotel is decent looking. Check in was quick but no explanation of charges. Hidden parking fee, but unsecured lot. Room was average in appearance. Bed slight more comfortable than average. Trains in area blowing early morning :/. Breakfast was ok, average. No hot water in room, no notice or was broken, didn't really care about it either, and wasn't fixed by the time we left. Comped parking, but didn't really make up for it. Poor service, don't understand why this place is rated so high.

Great location to Cal Expo, pet friendly. Rooms are a bit rundown, bathrooms small. Good for a night or two get away. Free Breakfast was good, the coffee was actually very good. The bed was comfortable, if we come out to Cal Expo again for an event we would stay here just for the fact it’s pet friendly.

NO WIFI. They said it was our phones (I-phone 14s) but our tablets didn’t work either. Tried everything they recommended and even wasted time with tech services before saying enough is enough and gave up.

Over all was good. However, the train passed several times after midnight and blow its loud horns and you wake up every time. So we had a sleepless night!!! do not recommend if you're a light headed sleeper

Firstly, when we got there, the be sheet was stained and dirty it was covered with the blanket. We made the report on that to the receptionist. secondly, when you enter the room, the left side of the bed was totally damaged. My fiancé went home with one of his sides hurting him because of the pain from sleeping on that side of the bed. The room I stayed was 209 they can go there to verify the bed the left side of the bed in room 209. It was really bad, l started there from Dec 14th to Dec 17th.

I understand most properties are servicing rooms these days, but I usually always need coffee when I wake up since these are business trips and I'm working when I wake up. I went to the front desk to request coffee pods and they only had decaf. They said they would send room service but it never came.
The lock for my room also malfunctioned while I was getting breakfast and I had to wait for locksmith to get back in so I couldn't eat breakfast in my room.

One night stay here. Check in and check out were quick, front desk staff friendly. Room was clean. Only complaint was the noise, the walls must be thin, I could hear other guests leaving in the morning and intermittent train horn.

The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs during my stay. The breakfast was convenient and provided a good variety of options.
