The shower curtain and bath room was dirty. When we asked for several times for someone to come clean it. Ended up leaving early and didn’t stay the full time.

I did not realize the hotel was under construction limiting available services. I was disappointed that the hotel room did not include complimentary water. Also, coffee maker did not work. The HVAC unit was excessively loud and leaked. If it was not for the very friendly staff, I would have given less points.

Property was under major construction and had no clue until arrived. Construction started the next day at 7am on the floor right above us and made for a horrible stay

Room was large and well-appointed. Getting inside our room with a luggage carrier was difficult. The entrance foyer was so narrow the carrier barely fit. Couldn’t get any hot water in the shower, just luke warm. There was firefighter training being conducted on Saturday inside the hallways and stair wells. That same morning the fire alarm in our room went off at 7:30 AM, though there was no emergency. Not a nice wake up. There was construction work occurring while we were there, but it was only a mild nuisance. Staff was very nice. However, we expected much more from a Hilton. If we had known all this before we booked, we would have chosen another hotel.

Our room has ocean view. It’s so nice to hear the ocean waves when we are at the balcony. We also saw amazing moonlight over the ocean and the stunning sunrise next morning. The beach is clean and quiet and right outside the hotel.

When registering for stay website showed breakfast included. Side door did not work had to use front door, up elevator and walk down steps to open from inside to let us in with dog. Maintenance was to fix but did not.

Great location on the Outer banks. Easy access to a shoreline road to/from Nags Head without all the hooplah on the main drag. Could easily go from one direction to the other on the outer banks. We would stay again.

The hotel is very nice and accommodating. The main lobby was under construction, but it was not a problem for us. The pool and deck on the oceanside were very nice. I like that it is pet friendly.

Kitty Hawk is a quiet area to enjoy the beach & it's close to so many shopping, recreational, & eateries. The motel may be addressing this, but for two years I haven't had safety features in the bathrooms. Shouldn't have to ask for a handicap accessible room to get safety features like non-slippery tubs, grab bars and heated bathroom floors. There's also only one hook which doesn't hold much including a robe.

Under renovation! Upon arrival, after dark and in the rain, a large truck was blocking the small sign that indicated the temporary entrance. Circled premises twice to find entrance. Poorly marked and everything is temporary and not fully functional. Hotel should be closed until renovated. Hallway had a smell. The construction site had caught on fire the previous day - so not a good feeling about staying. Hot water was not adequate one morning. Temporary trash can beside the temporary entrance was full for several days until it was brought to the front desk attention. Stay didn’t live up to the normal standard.

The dining room and bar area were being refurbished and I was not told about this till after I had booked and paid for the room. You could call and order and pick up but then were assured it would be cold. It's time for the rooms to be refurbished too. Limited tv selections.

The courtyard was very pretty around the fire pit. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Our first room smelled awful and the A/C was broken. They promptly found us another room, which was a lot nicer. It was very basic and didn't seem as nice as the pictures and the bathroom was very small. The coffee pot was barely working as well. We used the hot tub, which could have been very relaxing except the jets were turned up too high and water was splashing all over the place, in your face, hair and eyes, no matter where you sat and it was extremely hot.

Mold around tub and the room was 80-90% humidity- very uncomfortable to sleep and the heater made a lot of noise. Very different from the last time I stayed there a few years ago

Room very comfortable, clean. Location near beach, fishing pier very convenient. Had problem printing document in business center. Staff of three worked hard to solve my problem and could not have been more helpful. Would stay again.

Beds were comfortable and our stay was generally pleasant. We like the location and enjoy view from balconies. We did have an issue with the air conditioner from room above us leaking which caused ceiling finish to flake off and make a big mess on our HVAC unit and the floor in front of it plus it wet the ceiling. We reported it when we saw it but it was after dinner and we were told no one was on site who could do anything about it. We were surprised that a place that large didn't have maintenance on site at all times. They fixed it the next morning. Also, the ice machine did not work on our floor so we had to go the another floor to get ice. This was our third stay there and we would stay there again.

Location was Excellent. Not in a heavy commercialised area. We had an Ocean Front room with a Great View. Our only concern was the floor in our room was dirty and was sticky in front of the refrigerator. Otherwise nice!

So here’s the good: The property is ocean front and easy access to the beach, the staff is friendly. Pets were welcomed. The Tiki bar out at the pool is great and has on-site dining avail. Staff is courteous and friendly. The Not So Great: You’ll need to join their honors program to have access to the hotel WI-FI otherwise you’ll be charged extra. There’s no housekeeping, Room cleaning service and towel replenishment must be requested otherwise they won’t do it. You will be charged for Most of everything on the television other than local Channels. Trash bins out on the patio and pool area were overflowing with trash, bees and flies. (Didn’t seem to get emptied until end of day). Website of this hotel is certainly misleading or the pictures were taken when it was built. The outdoor pool and seating area is much much smaller than the picture looks. The indoor pool is even smaller. As far as this being a Hilton Property I would have never known other than the additional fees which is typical for Hilton.
