We had a great stay!
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable though, but we were only there for 1 night so it was bearable!

Hilton-Hampton hotel stay was made by a young women/staff member Ms Demi-Lee. She was just amazing, totally outstanding, bubbly, sassy, caring, full of information, full of chat, kind and is just perfect for this type of job. Bed comfortable, room size just perfect with a settee. View over the docks. Breakfast was good, but just needs a little bit of order.

Great stay and such easy access to everything, plus that there is parking too!

Breakfast is chaos, not enough staff to keep the area clean or fully stocked and definitely not enough tables for the size of the hotel.
Apart from that very good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. But. The sofa bed was just one spring after another and seriously uncomfortable. The main bed wasn’t much better. The toilet seat slopped downwards making it hard to stay on. Don’t even know where to start on breakfast. Only one person clearing tables, food and drink not restocked, bread stale, dirty plates when there were any, cutlery hard to find. Toasters and drinks machines out of order leading to massive queues. Hot food opposite sides of the room rather than next to each other. You know how many people you have booked so I can’t understand why you wouldn’t put enough staff on to cope with demand at peak times. Staff did their best but that’s not the point. Lots of unhappy people at breakfast. Reception staff went above and beyond at check in with the issues I had with hotels.com. Won’t even go there. Shame I can’t review them. Can’t recommend this hotel overall though.

Great location and fantastic view from our room. Check in was quick and easy. The included buffet breakfast had everything you needed although it was a bit chaotic at a busy time... we ended up seated in the bar on stools that were very difficult to get on and off! Lifts were also hard to get at breakfast/check out time, and when you've gone down to the car park you don't have access to the stairwell so have no option but to wait for the lift. The room was comfortable and clean but very tight with the sofa bed, and the design of the sofa bed meant it was surrounded by metal around the mattress, some of it very angular, and there was also a metal tab that stuck out on one corner, which kept hitting us in the knee every time we had to squeeze past it. Manageable for a one night stay but a family room needs to be bigger for any longer, especially when it was billed as superior.

Had a 2 day break in this lovely part of Liverpool. The hotel is near the Royal Albert Dock area and in within easy walking distance of the many good places of interest and places to eat. Having the car park is great too.
Would definitely use it again.

Would not return. Bulb hanging out of ceiling. Dirty duvet. And the foot stool was disgustingly filthy.
Breakfast finished at 9.30. Too early when you’re on a holiday break. No bottled water in room.

It was easy to park at the hotel. We found everything we needed in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The lady at breakfast service was particularly kind.
Great location.

Brilliant hotel for a short stay in Liverpool. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything you needed. Good choice at breakfast though it was a little busy and crowded at peak times.
The hotel is really convenient for Albert Dock and Liverpool one, both within easy walking distance.

Beds are too hard and stiff. We all had bad backs. Rooms too warm - climate control didn’t resolve it. Room too small for a family of four. All in all quite disappointing but good location.

Really nice stay at this hotel would definitely recommend

Staff all great. Let down by firstly, the computer system. Slowest check-in we’ve ever experienced. And secondly hotel condition/layout. Staff had to advise customers when to attend breakfast to avoid over subscription and the bathroom door was broken in the room.

Have stayed here previously as it's convenient for shopping in Liverpool One and also close to Albert Dock/Arena area. Spacious comfortable rooms. Parking available in underground car park for a few.

It was a quiet location only stayed over for one night

One of the bath towels was filthy. The breakfast staff stood around talking when tables needed clearing when the place was very busy. The price of drinks at the bar was extortionate. Have used this hotel on quite a few occasions but I doubt if I'll go back. Finally took about 20 mins to check in when there was only one person in front of me and was asked for payment when I had already paid on booking

Good location but not up to the usual Hilton standards. Male toilets on the mezzanine level were disgusting according to other half. Towel marked with what I hope was fake tan smears, couch/bed in room marked. Conditioner in bathroom looked like some in it but it was all clogged up and couldn’t get any out.

The position of the hotel regarding sightseeing availability on foot and the main shopping centre

We had a great time in Liverpool such an amazing city
The hotel was clean the staff were excellent very polite and friendly we had one issue with our room with the window but it was dealt with very quickly and we were moved room without any problems

Clean room. On site parking available but expensive. Had high expectations given the price but the reality was the hotel was comparable to a Premier Inn. Nothing wrong with Premier Inn at all but you expect a hotel that’s part of the Hilton group to offer a little more.

Slow check in due to issues with the computer system. Room was lovely & clean. Unfortunately breakfast was a bit of a let down, over crowded (maybe extend breakfast hours rather than trying to get everyone in before 10?). Coffee undrinkable, squash instead of fruit juice not sure why? Generally disappointing.

The room was valued for money. The breakfast needs a lot of improvement though. Sausage bacon and scrambled egg were awful.
Croissants bread and fruit was fresh.

Great Location, Very Central. Hotels a little tired and as previous reviews they cannot handle breakfast. You just need to accept what will be there and go for it. Good value for a very central hotel in a big city.

We arrived at the property to quite a queue to check in, this was worked really fast and with great service. Our initial room’s sofa bed was broken and we were moved straight away on speaking to the staff at on reception. The service was brilliant and nothing was too much. The only downfall is that the breakfast wasn’t the best but it was ok for being complementary but I wouldn’t pay for it. A very great stay none the less and I would highly recommend it.

Room was lovely, pillows were horrendous I didn’t sleep well the 2 nights we were there.. Breakfast was very disappointing, we were told the wrong time on the first day so had to go out for breakfast and on the second day it was carnage. Limited choices, very limited access to even a table, 1 coffee machine working.. It wasn’t set up to cope with it not being busy let alone when it did get busy.. Staff were busy being pulled from pillar to post to try to cope with the demand but didn’t have a fighting chance in my opinion.. Other than that the location was brilliant and was happy to have bag storage in the final day as our train home wasn’t until the evening..

Really nice place, great location and lovely staff. Only downside is that the sofa beds aren't too comfy. Par for the course really.

Hotel and staff all good .but breakfast not a good experience. Queing for bacon .only small ammount brought out each time .same with other hot food .no eggs ,,,, orange juice dreadful .but nice hotel helpful friendly staff

Terrible sofa bed. Could feel every slat and spring through it. Had stains on the sofa cushion. Crisps under the sofa bed. Cold room. Shower a dribble.
4.0
Hotel was unclean downstairs… unwiped tables, dirty floors etc Breakfast wasn’t nice. Didn’t bother having it on second day. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was very good. It feels they can’t be bothered maintaining standards as they know people will be attracted by the location anyway.
