Modern and comfortable hotel, near Central train station and right on a canal. Short walk to main attractions in the west area. Even Rijksmuseum is only a half hour stroll. Quiet at night but plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Bathroom pretty small!

The hotel is in a very nice part of the city about 15 minute walk from the main train station, overlooking the canal. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is nice overlooking the canal with some nice seats just by the windows. Bathroom is a tad on the small side but that's about the only thing that I would change. Definitely worth a visit

Really lovely hotel, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable and the view was lovely. The nespresso coffee machine and coffee cream was a lovely touch and the bathroom was really beautiful- shower was powerful and all was pristine. I didn’t want to leave!

We arrived early in the morning and asked if we could leave our bag. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just far enough out of the city. It’s very quiet and clean and in a nice location by the canal. We will definitely return.

Pleasantly quiet so I could catch up on plenty of sleep and extra snoozing. The TV has Netflix, so you can log in and use your account. The key card gives you freedom to come and go as you please. I enjoyed a week of no agenda, no deadline, no routine living. I'm now refreshed, relaxed and recharged for work.

Hotel Sebastian's was a wonderful place in Amsterdam to stay. It was a 15-minute walk away from Centraal train station, and close to a lot of retail and restaurants around the area. It is located on a quieter street away from the city centre, and you are immediately surrounded by the narrow streets and picturesque canals, so it gave a sense of privacy and cozyness. The room was quiet, clean, and well-decorated. I would recommend staying here!

Amazingly central hotel with luxurious rituals products. Some stuff on the negative were that some items could have been available e.g. complementary water and maybe a powerful hairdryer. But the hotel was up to date and was good. Staff were helpful and allowed us to checkin bags before and after trip. Definitely recommend it and will visit again. Walking distance’s everywhere

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. The single room I stayed in was very small but totally fine for one person. The bathroom and amenities are great. Friendly staff and a great location off the beaten path. Still close to the train station but away from all the high traffic tourist area… cute, quaint and quiet

THEY CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE VALET PARKING. "Valet parking on site (EUR 65 per day)" THIS IS FALSE. THEY DO NOT HAVE VALET PARKING. THEY HAVE SOME RANDOM SHADY PERSON WHO COME AND TAKE YOUR CAR AWAY. DEMAND 50 EUROS IN CASH AND THEY ONLY SCHEDULE TO BRING YOUR CAR BACK AT A TIME THAT YOU NEED THE NEXT MORNING. OTHER THAN THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CAR. AND THEY DON'T BRING THE CAR ANY OTHER TIME OTHER THAN THE SCHEDULED TIME. THIS IS NOT VALET SERVICE. THIS IS SCAM. THE HOTEL HAS NO OTHER PARKING AVAILABLE ON THE STREET OR ANYWHERE FOR YOU TO SELF PARK. THEY SAY STEEET PARKING IS 70 EUROS BUT THERE IS NO WHERE FOR YOU TO EVEN LEAVE YOUR CAR FOR 5 MINUTES TO LEAVE THE LUGGAGE IN THE HOTEL. THEY ASK YOU TO PARK YOUR CAR ON A BRIDGE ILLEGALLY WITH THE HAZARD LIGHTS ON SO YOU DON'T GET TOWED.

This hotel is great. It’s well located and well appointed for the price. My cost double was spotlessly clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfy. My mini bar was not working and my TV had some connection issues but I didn’t try to resolve either and all the things that mattered were great. I would happily stay in the hotel again. For the price it’s a great find.

Check in was fast and easy. The room smelled clean - disinfected with bleach clean - upon my arrival and I really appreciated that. My room was ready for my check in early and that was fantastic. The room was small, but my view of the canal was beautiful. The bed was ok - seemed like a new mattress, but I woke up frequently overheated so perhaps it was some sort of foam mattress. The shower had decent water pressure and the water was hot. The soap, shampoo, and lotion was Rituals which was surprising and appreciated. The location was about ten minutes from the Centraal Station once you knew the route and it was easy to walk to most locations of interest. The staff made an excellent restaurant suggestion one night that exactly fit what I was looking for. The only negative to my stay was the noise from the other guests and they quieted down by 10pm so it was not an issue. What I appreciated most was that I could control the temperature of the room - I have stayed in quite a few hotels in which you cannot. I have no desire to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Really good. I had a great stay at Sebastian. I asked for an early check in as my flight landed early but staff despite all their efforts couldn’t accommodate the request. They however helped me freshen up, store my luggage and sit at the bar until the room got ready. I managed to visit the city. The location was fantastic and easily accessible, such a great location, full marks for that. A short walk across to the train station “Amsterdam centrum”fare from the airport taxi to the hotel was £60 and return was via Train.

Location was excellent. 10 minutes walk from main station and 10 mins from Dam Square. The surrounding area was lovely and lots of lovely restaurants. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful. Room was very spacious and clean and the bar is lovely to sit in. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location for a city break in Amsterdam. Stayed in a standard double room (canal view) and loved the view! Room was very small and the bathroom was tiny but didn’t really bother us. Loved the seating area next to the window but wasn’t spacious enough to fully enjoy. If I ever go back to Amsterdam I’ll definitely book another stay at Sebastian’s!

Our stay was fantastic; the service was great, room just what we needed and super clean. The hotel is perfectly situated for walking around the city centre, as well as being close to the station. Thank you to all the team there, and for decorating our room as per my request for my partner’s birthday!

This hotel is located on a quiet street near the canals. It is very clean, quiet and comfy. We were in room 105 which is next to an entrance door. You could hear the door open and close as people enter. This wasn’t an issue for us as we were out early and stayed out late, plus it isn’t high season. However, this may pose an issue in the warmer months. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our three night stay in Amsterdam.

This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located in the heart of Amsterdam. I absolutely loved our room, the huge bathtub and heated bathroom floors. The scent of the Rituals hand wash, shampoo and conditioner were great. The cocktail drinks were strong and the breakfast the next day was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. I would happily stay here again.
