We had a very nice stay at The Canyon motel. The room was clean, off the street so it was quiet and the pool was a very much enjoyable experience. The sauna bath was a plus! I recommend this motel to anyone who spends time in Wellsboro! My second time to Wellsboro and what a fine small town. I will return and definitely stay at the canyon motel.

For being a straight-off-the-road motel in a small town I wasn’t expecting much but I was certainly surprised! It was well kept, orderly and pretty modern. The swimming pool and sauna were great as well.

Everything about this overnight stay was great: check-in, parking, room cleanliness & location. Little things like the makeup towel & abundance of pillows was a nice touch. The location was great & everything was in a walkable distance. The ONLY gripe we had was that the walls were a little thin so it was easy to hear any loud people next door. We are planning a trip in the spring and plan to stay here again.

The Canyon Motel, which we've stayed at almost annually, is a very well-maintained, clean and reasonably priced motel. It's close to downtown Wellsboro shops and restaurants. Love it there.

there were bedbugs. Found them a couple hours into our stay and left immediately. Cigarette burn holes in old, worn out blanket. Dirty carpet. On the plus side, room was soundproof and had a nice shower

This was the first time we had stayed at the Canyon Motel. We would stay there again in the future if we were visiting Wellsboro. Convient to the restaurants and shops on Main St.

It is a hidden gem! I look forward to returning. The room was big and smelled like cedar. Generous amenities, kind staff, perfect location, warm pool. Just a head’s up- no hot tub, but there’s a sauna to warm up.

Clean and comfortable room. Good value for price. Sheets felt worn, and in-wall heater was a bit loud, but all other details seemed fine. Pool lights off, even during 'open' hours -- thought it seemed closed (didn't ask front desk).

From the outside it looks like a vintage motel, but the rooms are brand new on the inside. Very clean and comfortable!

I have never been to Wellsboro so my girlfriend and I were not certain what to expect. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. Perfect location in town and the room seemed recently renovated. Enjoyed the indoor pool. Within walking distance of several nice restaurants and a short drive to some very scenic hiking trails. I would highly recommend.

We liked the cleanliness of the room; comfort of the mattress and pillows; and all amenities listed in pre-reservation on Expedia were in the room. Have always stayed in other motels/hotels in Wellsboro when visiting family; never here. That will change in the future.

We were very pleased with our accomodations. Our only issue was we didn't know the password to use the "free WiFi". I tried calling the front desk and left a message, but we were only there for the night and I didn't hear back.

The spacious room was in excellent condition, well taken care of. The queen bed, however, had a bit of a well going on in the middle. Not comfortable. Our friends who had a room there said their bed was fine and comfy. I would most definitely recommend this hotel. It's also in walking distance of everything in town.

The parking is questionable. The low overhangs over the driveway are problematic. Maybe they could be modified to eliminate hazards.

We had a very nice stay at this motel. The buildings and grounds are immaculate. The same person checked us in and out, and I noticed he also was cleaning some of the rooms! Busy as he was, he took the time to ask if there was anything they could have done to make our stay even more enjoyable. That’s definitely evidence of their commitment to customer satisfaction! We have stayed in close to a dozen hotels during our travels this summer, and this is the ONLY place where staff asked that important question! We would definitely stay there again.
