Love staying in small family owned places. The Sapphire Motel was a great experience. Had an amazing chat with the owner at check in about the history.

I like the renovations, but the bathtub is too small

Cool, original vibe but no dogs???
Even though mine is with sitters 1,500 miles away I smell a contradiction for a town like Bozeman.
- Great Staff
- Great Lobby Coffee!
- Tub was dangerously slippery
- Soundproofing below-average (no fault of adjoining guests adult fun...)

The Sapphire Motel was an unexpected colorful gem in the kisch plethora of bland sterile hotels/motels in Bozeman!
From the friendly reception to the clean, warm inviting retro decor room and the quiet ambiance my stay was refreshing and relaxing!
Also free parking in front of my room was a welcome convenience!
100% going to stay here on sucessive trips to Bozeman!

Such a nice stay! Lovingly renovated with thoughtful and creative touches. The “motor hotel” (aka motel) concept was originally designed in the 50s to celebrate the road tripping tourist, so the reserved parking for our room helped us get the most out of the motor hotel experience. Huge room gave us plenty of space to relax, and while there’s no kitchenette in the room, there’s an oven/stove available in the main office if you need one.

The Sapphire Motel is such a cute, fun place to stay for a quick trip! The design is the peak for anyone who likes mid-century modern and vintage pieces. It was so cute. The area is close to everything and there's even a little coffee hut right in the parking lot called Nexus that you have to visit for coffee and a breakfast burrito. The shower pressure left a little to be desired, but overall, we would definitely stay here again.

We have had a great stay at the Sapphire. It is impeccably clean, the decor is unique and functional. It is clear that the staff takes a lot of pride in the motel. I am glad that I am supporting a local business, instead of a large corporation. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little spot - reborn as what it started out as, which is a 50’s motor inn. Blue and orange Formica, the whole thing. But great prices, comfortable beds, easy to move stuff from car to your room since you park right outside the room. Really exceptional.

Cool retro motel with large, nicely appointed, rooms and a very nice bathroom area. Very comfortable. Can park and unload at the door, great for repacking skis and gear before flying out of Bozeman. The mid-century modern furniture and decor gives it a lot of character. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was amazing! Decor, size, amenities. My bed was super comfortable. I was a short drive to MSU where I needed to be and access to shopping and restaurants was spot on. The staff couldn’t have been kinder. love this place and will be booking all of my upcoming visits here. This is truly a home away from home.
