I turned my jury duty service into a mini vacation by staying at the wonderful Porter hotel, just a block and a half from the courthouse!

Loud noise outside that lasted all night

We really enjoyed our stay for my wifes birthday. The steam room and sauna was a nice bonus

Rating this hotel as luxury and 4.5 star is quite a stretch. It’s old, run down, dark, pungent signature scent covering up food and must smells. Service literally smoking 2 vapes at once while coming back in to help. The whole establishment is banged up.Our room had seen a lot of party action. There were no glasses in the room. There was no mention of the Night Club Xport on the top floor which brought quite the crowd in. Not a crowd seeking nice luxury amenities. Don’t be fooled by the reviews.

Needed to crash after 10 hours on the road heading back to Los Angeles. Glad we chose this place. Clean, spacious, huge TV, gorgeous river view. Just the pillows were too small/few for a king bed.
A bonus star was a complimentary Häagen-Dazs bar that we wanted to pay at check in. Seeing me and my husband so exhausted, he said “it’s on me”. I forgot his name but fully inked. Thanks again.

Great hotel to stay in much better than the Marriott Waterfront. Clean, modern, sexy hotel to stay in, check it out you won't be disappointed. The rooftop bar is sexy and very nice place to hang out on the weekends.

This is our second year we stay at The Porter overnight to attend the Shamrock run. I love that they are walking distance from Waterfront, not only for the race but for an evening stroll the night before. Will keep attending yearly. I also appreciated that the staff was able to push back checkout, allowing us to shower post-race. Thank you.

Nicer than I expected. Classy place.

The bathroom doors were off the track and we had to have someone come up and fix. One of the beds had a depression on the edge. We were shocked to discover today that parking was an additional 60 charge to park the car for one night. Room service was over priced and underwhelming. All of the staff were fantastic

The bathroom glass door shattered on my girlfriend cutting her all over her body. Took the staff forever to look and move rooms. The location and vibe of the hotel overall is good. But lack of concern for bleeding patrons is concerning

The room accommodations were dirty! The shampoo bottles were all empty. Food crumbs under the bed and under the mattress it was disgusting and dirty..

We came at an extremely busy time, and yet the staff (Avery and others) was beyond accommodating! The facility is beautiful and very quiet for being in a busy city. Beds were comfortable and every amenity is right at your fingertips!

Great aesthetic. Bed was worn out and not well made up. Pool and workout floor was very nice. Website needs to be updated (pizza window) no longer exists.

It’s a great hotel, but they are clearly having staffing issues. We had dinner upstairs and it was expensive and very mediocre. It’s a great property wonderful style but I would say it’s not crisp the lighting was way off. We waited in line to check in for 15 minutes. The staff seemed very overwhelmed. It certainly didn’t feel like an upscale downtown hotel. It felt like we were at a Holiday Inn. :(

This is a beautiful location online however in person it was nice but basic. Upon entry the space from the counter to the entrance can be a bit crowded. No one to assist with luggage and parking is horrible if you will be in and out throughout the day as they only accept valet with public parking nearby the fees add up. Front Desk and Rooftop bar service was unwelcoming. Not sure if this was the usual experience or racial experience either is unacceptable.

The staff worked very hard to keep up with so many guests fleeing their homes without power during the snowstorm and ice storm.
We were happy to have a wonderful stay and loved the pool and sauna. There was only one waiter for breakfast and he was very patient but he needed more staff to help him! Nice bar on the 16th floor.

Due to the weather we got in at 10:30 at night. We were surprised with a daily incidental fee rather than a one time security fee for the entire stay. The gentleman at the front desk stated that we couldn’t pay a security for one day and pay again the next day it was all
At once that was unable to be done. So he changed it to one night and said the rate would stay the same when you go to pay the next morning for another night. It went up 20$ plus that other 100$. Overall he seemed to be helpful but in a condescending kind of way. The lady with him at the front seemed much more friendlier and the front desk attendant the next morning was so friendly. She was completely understandable and eased my anxiety of the price change. Overall it was a great experience though and the staff was fantastic besides that first interaction. I do recommend the hotel but try not to have situations out of your control happen or you’ll be made to feel stupid and judged.

Our stay was okay, it wasn't a very smooth 3-night stay but Jason at the front desk when we checked out is the reason why my girlfriend and I will be returning. I appreciate that he listened to us and really cared about the several issues we had experienced. So, thank you Jason! Overall, the hotel was good, we loved the Xport! The pool and gym were clean; gym was well equipped for a quick effective workout.

Sebastian was by far the only enjoyable interaction aith the hotel staff. They didnt have rooms ready. Parking was 60$ for a night and waited iver 20 mins on both ends.

The hotel itself was amazing. But when we showed up we had to wait an hour in line to check in. Once we checked in we were notified that all amenities were closed due to a private event, that you had to have tickets to get into that being hosted by the hotel itself. I was never informed about said event. So the amenities that are offered by the hotel you had to buy tickets to use… but the event was “sold out” i booked this hotel for the amenities showed on the listing. Very disappointed to know that they were all closed once we arrived. Several other people staying in the hotel had the same issue. Poor lack of management. The restaurant was closed.

Everything was nice, except for the fact that Apple Pay wasn’t working, and when we asked for water bottles for our room the guy at the front desk had an attitude about it and said house keeping stocks your room. Thanks I didn’t know that house keeping stalks our room but we had a do not disturb sign on the door because we didn’t want people coming In and out, we didn’t end up getting any water bottles. The pool is gonna be the reason we come back and stay again but the front desk people need to have less attitude.

I’ve stayed at this property before and had a great experience however there were several issues this time. The bathroom lights would turn on and off on their own (broken sensor), annoying when this happens in the middle of the night. I reported it but it was not fixed. Found long hairs in the towels in the bathroom, the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bottom just a flat sheet and the only time house keeping came was when we asked for it. On the pulse side the front desk staff were very friendly and the pool and gym arear were clean and relaxing.
