Our stay was very good. We were there for a wellness convention. The hotel was right across the street from the venue. Beds were comfortable, room clean. Staff was friendly and polite. They were very accommodating. Looking forward to next year.

Perfect location for Salt Palace events, easy to walk around downtown. Room was perfect - clean & current. I had everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was lovely too - variety of options.

This easily would have been a five. Excellent property, clean, super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The major issue: Noise from nightclub next door. It was awful. Every night. You definitely need ear plugs and they should have disclosed.

Great place to stay when you have an event across the street.

Parking was out doors and a very small lot. Automatic gate was a struggle. Room was very nice with so many amenities! Great for preparing your own food and has a full-size refrigerator. Wish I was staying longer to take advantage.

Perfect location for walking to restaurants and entertainment. Cute hotel, clean, quiet. Rooms were big, had a larger fridge.

This was a great place! The room was very clean and spacious. It was located very close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Super quiet & clean. Will definitely put on list of best stays in SLC.

This was the worst Marriott stay to date. Not one, not two, but 3 nightclubs are next door. There are also several dangerous alleys with homeless people wandering, and the parking garage is very inconveniently located far from the hotel . We hated this place . It’s not conveniently located even to downtown considering everything

Pleasantly surprised by quality of breakfast and great location for visiting convention center.

This property in general was nice. Bedding was great. Breakfast was average. Parking and loading/unloading for this location is limited and there is a music venue next door that also suffers from this same issue. Watched the hotel staff argue with a band unloading their equipment because they were unloading on the street in “the hotel’s spot”. This property uses refillable soap/shampoo/conditioner which they have mounted between the controls for the tub and the shower head. This is great if you are taking a shower, but unusable if you want/need to use the tub.

Great place. Comfy beds and kind staff.

Great location. Good facility.

Be aware you pay $12 a day to park in a parking garage separate from the hotel. Our car was vandalized and our bags were stolen while we paid to park in their garage! Nothing was done because they aren’t responsible for any crimes. If you are there during a weekend there is a nightclub next door that will keep you awake. It was clean and nice but those two issues are big and cost us a couple grand so beware! If you care about your property and your sleep don’t stay here.

It is nice and convient. Love that's it right access the street from the salt Palace. Clean and staff was very nice. However wish I would have know that first there is no guaranteed parking. First day couldn't even park there or near the hotel. Was given a pass on the second day to find out it was full. They axxomadated me in the garage. Our room wasn't cleaned and Friday night their two night clubs that are playing music all night long so all I could hear was music so not enough sleep. I get it. It's down town probably should have read some reviews first. Please please make note to tell people this. Overall it wasn't a bad experience just not the best.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen area cabinets had drips of who knows what. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned. It was a handicapped bathroom with a shower and the water practically filled up the whole floor of the bathroom which made it wet for hours after. Seems like a breeding ground for germs. The front desk staff was fabulous… the breakfast was decent. Proximity to the delta center was on point and the reason we stayed here.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. But the hotel is located right next to a club and you can hear everything. Music blasting late into the night. Wish I had known that before booking. Parking garage was a little sketch. Overall the hotel is great but the area is under construction so getting there was a little tricky as well. The gentleman at check in was apologetic and kind. Woman in the evening who took his place at the front desk was rude. And unprofessional. Lacked curtesy when speaking to the guests in the lobby. So uncomfortable to hear. Great hotel. Very loud street (club) Certain staff could use some development in areas of customer service.

The suite was perfect! Nice view of the mountains, spacious, clean, quiet, warm and airy.
The room amenities were great!
We were at conference and the location was right across the road from the south entrance to the conference.
Gerri was so helpful and friendly with us every morning - and all the guests enjoyed chatting now and again over breakfast. The rest of the staff were all super helpful and friendly too.

Hotel was very nice, but on arrival they stated they were out of parking passes so we had to pay for parking. If they were out of passes i would think that they could at least compensate the cost of the parking. Also our room didn't have a remote control for the TV. Called the front desk and they said they would try to find one, but they never did, and had no follow through with letting us know. Don't think i would stay here again just for those two reasons.

We were in this hotel for two days. It was very clean, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. We had some technical difficulties, but they were solved thanks to the great efforts of the staff!
We can definitely recommend this hotel!

Doesn't look that nice from the outside, but as soon as you get inside it is so nice.

I really liked the grills downstairs on the patio. The continental breakfast was good and hit the spot for a light morning wake me up. The walkability to City Creek and the downtown restaurants was terrific.

It was ok. I didn't like having to pAy to park

The property lacked parking for those at the hotel and then ran out of parking passes for the nearby garage. They offered no money back for having to pay for parking in the garage.
