Hotel itself is really pretty
It’s not a beachfront hotel. It’s located near the beach but not beach front.

Breakfast was included
My sheets had blood stains, felt unsafe as a line female traveler, pictures were of inaccurate, pool has absolutely no lounge chairs, it may be on the quiet side of round but it is SO loud at night with what sounded like a woman’s scream.

The location was perfect, the room was comfortable, the pool and grounds were lovely.
The receptionist in the morning was wonderful, however the receptionist who works the afternoon was not. He was not helpful when there was a screaming toddler in the pool. The accommodation prides itself in being peaceful, but it wasn’t. There is also no one overseeing the property over night. There was a group of 6 people playing music, swimming in the pool and screaming until 1am.

On the quiet side of town but a quick easy walk to the beach and to lots of yummy food options.

Breakfast garden was my favourite thing. Great menu too.
The whole place, including the garden and pool are very lush and you literally feel like you are in the middle of the jungle :)
Pool and landscaping around it are beautiful.
Room had really awesome vaulted brick ceiling.
No complaints

Breakfast was a wonderful surprise and excellent....pool and grounds are beautiful.
Coffee pot in room would be nice. We had a rom for 3 that had a king bed w/ trundle, really best for kid rather than 3rd adult who preferred to rent an additional room.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious
Beds weren’t very comfortable, and no one cleans your rooms (including new fresh sheets, clean towels, face cloths, etc) unless you ask specifically. Likely due to short staffed. Pool is nice, but no where to lounge.
VERY noisy, parties until all hours of the night.
Thatched roof with lots of areas for bugs to get in. My kids got terribly bitten by mosquitoes the whole time.

I liked the traditional vibe of an imperfect but cute place, it's natural setting and plants, community feel, location.
dusty streets surrounding it, lack of some basics like a hair dryer, the place is generally not conducive to guests staying longer than a week, restaurant menu is limited and often short of ingredients to deliver dishes with some consistency

Breakfast was good, although repetitive
Comfort! No comfort anywhere!

Breakfast from the secret garden was great with the best server, Yiyo.
There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room even though it was on the room amenities list.

We were on a second floor room therefore we loved the dome ceiling it's something we'll never forget. The beautiful table outside the room on the patio was perfect. What didn't you like cold
I didn't like the fact there was no hot water. But it was not a game changer and I would rent the same room again in a minute..
We would have loved comfortable lounge chairs to lay down by the pool.

The location was great. The property was close to everything but also a nice respite. The wi-fi and staff were wonderful.

Location, peaceful, comfortable beds, outstanding, free breakfast and service. Loved the secret garden

Breakfast was not free but it was ample and the menu had a good selection. We especially liked eating outside by the pool and overlooking the ocean. Sound of waves crashing against the beach was lovely to hear all night. Water temperature in the pool was delightful and it's big enough to swim laps. Short walk to a nearby hotel restaurant gave us a new place for dinner, although eating at the hotel was also a good option. Beds were very comfortable; internet worked fine.
Everything was really very good. Maybe providing more than just one small bottle of water daily.

Loved the traditional ambience, and the grounds. The beds were very comfortable as were the feathered pillows. The morning breakfast was excellent and the waiter was wonderful!
There was a little bit of sewage smell due to no pea traps on pipes. We just put some standing water in sink and it seemed to help.
