Truely excellent - outstanding hotel

This is an exceptionally good hotel - great staff, excellent food location spectacular - architecture of hotel fantastic, great pool and a real pleasure to be a quest at Naturalist superb ( Indiga - hope I have spelt this correctly) - a bird guide of real excellence and very good company in walks and visits to birding areas - very knowledgeable about photography as well as birds

All excellent - difficult to improve on

Ausgesprochen Nachhaltig!

Die zuvorkommende Art der Angestellt en. Das wunderschöne Zimmer. Das Essen, dass sie in Gängen serviert haben. Das Grundstück, mit Naturschutzgebiet (innerhalb des Hotel Komplexes), See mit Artenvielfalt von Vögeln. Wir kommen wieder!

Very special place for birders

The staff was very helpfull and frendly. We loved the bathroom en terrace. The room was perfect. Palmyrah is a special place. We loved it. Even off season it is a good place for birding. Food is good.

Maybe the entrance and restaurant can use some TLC with some candles, deco and water in de pound. It felt very off season when we arrived.

comfortable BUT BAD PRICE TO QUALITY RATIO, totally overpriced, hot shower did not work properly.

Quiet place, balcony was lovely and quiet as in the picture, dinner was relaxing and romantic but overall the hotel is very expensive in comparison to anything else we paid in the country for lesser quality (no pression when hot water)

price to quality VERY BAD. Hotel completely overpriced. Highest price tag of our entire stay, we did not get hot water and they did not seem to care to do something about it.

In my family's own words - the stay was a pleasant and memorable one!

I booked a weekend stay for my family here to celebrate my parent's birthday and they loved it! From booking to check-in / check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff onsite (and the support team over the phone) were extremely helpful and they did everything they can to make the stay a memorable one for my family.

Not worth what you paying for

Staff was only best part of this hotel. Special shout out to 2 guys who made our stay. Food was good but it was set menu. You didn't had much choices. Location is pretty good. Room is clean and nice.like the concept of interior.

As they told Check out time was 10 am. We been all around the world . Never found a hotel which has 10 am check out time. Even they told us if we do late check out max time will be 11 pm. otherwise will have to pay half of the amount of total price. If this place busy place we could understand their policy. But the day we stayed we were the only couple. It was totally empty hotel. We did late check in around 8 pm and had dinner around 9.15 .they told there is no in room dining. We were exhausted after long ride. But still we were trying to be nice with staff. Pool was not clean. Room amenities are not good what you paying for. And also when I do booking I had to pay full amount even before I arrive their by card while other hotels just ask for advance payment. Also they had two single beds which was not very comfortable as you expected.

Relaxing place in a non touristy area full of birds and pureness

I love this place. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, nicely laid out. A big shower you can dance around in. A private deck with seating area and surrounded by nature. We slept very well here. The swimming pool was very nice. A lot of birding people here. Normal, if even at breakfast the beautiful birds come parading in front of you. There are some resident ones. It was a feast for me. I follow them on Facebook, where they keep you posted on the birds seen on the grounds and around. They have a birding guide as a resident. This year was the first time they had this one. Although friendly and all you want, I didn't like him as a person, and I thought he didn't know all the best areas yet. Maybe that will come. The hotel has agreements with local tuk tuks and taxi's: a fixed prenegotiated price to avoid randomness and trying to squeeze more out of their guests. We used tuk tuks twice and it was great. The staff is super nice and mostly local. Take advantage of this and make an effort to be genuinely interested in them, the past of this place (the war was horrible and they are so happy now). One day I was talking to Canicius, one of the staff, and I was excited because we would go all the way to the northern tip (the owner also has the kiting place up there). He lives up there with his family so I invited him to join so we could meet his family. Management was really accomodating. It was on of the best days we had on our trip. We had a lot of fun and it was so nice to meet his family. his mum held on to me so tight - she didn't wanted us to leave.

Nothing, would go back and stay much longer. I really liked it here!
