Fantastic stay beginning with excellent assistance from the property manager Jennifer. I had questions before we arrived, and Jennifer had answers. Arrived to find the accommodations clean and inviting. The location of this property can't be beat for access to the French quarter and waterfront. We walked everywhere. Took the kids on the steamboat up the Mississippi river, caught a ride from Canal Street to Slidell for a swamp cruise, visited the aquarium and insectarium and did a tour of Mardi Gras World. Had a good view of fireworks on New Years Eve. Fun for all.

Very nice place. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. Hosts were terrific and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Tyrone and Jenny!!

We stayed at Le Charbonnet XL for Christmas with my family. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and it was a quiet street, yet very close to all the action of the French District. Jennifer was an amazing host, helped us every time we had a question. The internet is a bit fiddly, had to be restarted a couple times or our devices had to. The kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking, some small things were missing but Jennifer would take care of it. Great stay overall we all enjoyed it a lot!

Our unit was really nice! We loved the old building character with the modern updates. The property is in the ideal location to stay while you explore the French Quarter and the surrounding areas. Jennifer was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

We had such a great stay. The Charbonnet was clean, had comfortable beds and was walking distance to bourbon st and the super dome.

This property is well done and the location is fantastic but the technical difficulties that lasted all five days we were there really put a damper on our stay.
When we arrived, the wifi was not working at all. After resetting our devices many times we got it going but it never stayed working for long. My husband's laptop was never able to properly secure so he was not able to work from the unit.
The TV's were also effected by the connectivity issues. Even though I let management know of the issue, it was never resolved they even stopped responding about these requests.
Our AC had been off of connectivity when we arrived so had to reset all of that. Then, we came home late on Friday night to a bedroom that was steaming hot. We ended up not being able to sleep in there - I was on the downstairs sofa and my husband was on the floor.
And....our washing machine did not work. Not sure that had anything to do with the connectivity issues but it was another thing to deal with during our stay.
The management tried to be accommodating (other than the TV issue) but if things are not working properly they just need to be fixed - before the unit is rented.
They call themselves a luxury rental property but these technical issues need to be resolved before this can truly be a 5 star rental. Make sure to pack your patience because we had to deal with these frustrations for the entire stay.

Never being in New Orleans before, I was very dubious about where we were staying. After staying there, my fears were unfounded. I felt very safe at all times. It was a cute, comfortable condo. Getting the water hot enough in the showers and sinks was a little difficult at times, but we learned that we just had to let it run a long time before it got hot enough. We did see one big roach in the bathroom.

The unit was charming, spotless, and well apppointed. Lovely sunlight and view, comfortable beds. And it was surprisingly quiet, especially for the location! Where we’ll stay when next we visit.

This place was perfect for being able to walk to places. It was near the actioj but not too close. I 100 % would recommend to bring white noise maker and eye mask to get an even better rest. The only issues we had was checking in no one connected us we had to contact them many times. Also shower in tub did not work which made 4 adults using one shower.

Jennifer was responsive and very accommodating with our requests during check in. The apartment was clean and tidy and the pictures accurately depicted what we found on arrival. The location could not be more convenient to the French Quarter and surrounding neighborhoods. The beds are very comfortable and sheets are cozy. We will stay here again.

It was a little rocky first getting to the property. We’d never been to NOLA so we didn’t know about how the streets were so busy or how there are so many one ways. I’d say the worst park about our stay was figuring out parking. You can not park in the lot across from the facility. You have to walk a little bit and pay for parking which is $54 a day. BUT for the location it was worth it. We were SO close to everything! Everything was about a 7-8 minute walk. The property itself was gorgeous. Very well kept up, Extremely clean, and it came with way more thing than I expected. Even the shampoo, conditioner and soap were nice. They have a washer and dryer, a microwave, a nice big refrigerator, a full stove, and many extras that I don’t usually find at condos. Like a wine key, a really nice coffee maker, make up towels, TVs in every room and REALLY good pots and pans. And everything looked very new. Also, if you have troubles with anything (with us it was getting in the gate and in our room) just call the number given to you in your email. They are quick to answer and very helpful. So all in all, once you get used to parking and how to get in and out of the building it’s a pretty perfect place to stay. I’d recommend it to anyone and I’d definitely go back myself.

First it was a great clean place for the 2 couples that stayed there. It was great location to Bourbon or Decatur st. Walked all over town without a issue. The manager was great with all the questions and last minutes issues that we had. I could call or text and he was right back with us. The place was super clean and roomy, closets were amazing wishing I had them in my house. All in all a great place and I would recommend to people. There was a couple of cons-
the elevator in the building was hit or miss, so if you have issues with stair that head up.
The hot water took a while to warm up so had to run to alittle before a shower. But it was the coldest they seen there so that may have been a factor?!?

The post describing the property listed a "heated, private pool" in the amenaties section. We called the property manager about the pool when we arrived, bc we couldn't find it. He stated the pool is available for another $300. He didn't make it clear if that was per night, or for the entire stay. Having a heated, private pool was a big reason we were comfortable paying the exorbitant price we paid. Make it right!

It was very nice, but it said it slept 6, but there were only 2 bedrooms, a couch, and a twin air mattress. So that was misleading. The twin mattress is fit for a small person, not a 6 ft person. Then there is the train, one night, it blew the horn 3 different times. So bring ear plugs for sure. Other than that is was a great space, great location, and we enjoyed it. It is truly more comfortable for 4 people though.
