Everything you need is available. Helpful friendly personal. Nothing to complain.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were nice and friendly. However we both had a terrible nights sleep and have back pain as a result of the poor mattress. The mattress was very soft and unsupportive even for a child yet alone two adults, any movement made the whole mattress wobble causing myself to have motion sickness. As a result we both have terrible back pains and the worst night sleep ever outside the home. Such a shame because everything else about the hotel is amazing but the bed was such a let down and at the end of the day you do book a hotel to be able to sleep and we barely got any.

Check in was fine, enquired about restaurant and bar times was told castaway restaurant was 10pm and bar midnight so we specifically arrived back just before 9.30pm to place order as we were hungry from our visit and wanted to try the restaurant only to be told they had been low on orders so closed early and couldn't serve us!
But was advised to walk to wetherspoons by st johns as they serve until late- as I walk with a cane due to disability this was not an option.
Doorman laughing and passed the receptionist 6 packs of crisps for her to snack on later in the middle of this conversation, she rook them to the back of reception,no offer of a sandwich or a snack as an alternative and watched us go to the lifts to bed ( also says room service on the booklet in the room this is NOT available)
Hallway was extremely noisy outside room and no buffer of the loud tannoy from Lime street constantly announcing as windows not soundproofed from this.
We had booked another stay at this hotel but we cancelled due to this experience.

Liner hotel always a good stay and the penthouse suite is a special luxury we try and aim for on a stay here but not always available as very popular

Staff were great and in ideal location for the centre

Beautiful hotel. Friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was great and service was outstanding. Close to town centre and bars. Would definitely recommend and we will be booking here again.

We stayed in the penthouse suite. The room was very big and well equipped. The only small issue was it was right next to lime street station and from 04.30 we heard all the train announcements.

Excellent service. Extremely friendly. Ideal location. Great parking. Virtually next door to the Empire Theatre

Excellent reception staff - so friendly and helpful. Room deluxe and very well equipped and quiet other than the noisy announcements from Lime Street Station. Breakfast standard. Up a hill, fine for me, but if you have limited mobility, could be an issue. Luggage storage is great.

We had a last minute booking for one night at the Liner Hotel as we were travelling from Lime Street station early the next morning. The room was very comfortable with twin beds and plenty of space to walk around them. Service was good, although early morning check out took a while.
Parking was free at the nearest car park only 2 minutes walk away.
Great value stay.

Reliable and comfortable hotel near station and city. Perfect for a base if out in town

Clean lovely hotel. It was a very warm night and the fan provided did help cool things down a little but it was loud. Staff were lovely and offered to help with anything.

Good location well appointed hotel with free parking which is most unusual for city centre location these days. The hot water in the whole hotel was not working for 1 of the 2 days we stayed. However the hotel agreed 40% discount for 1 night which I think was fair, however as this was calculated on the amount they received from Hotels.com the amount to be credited is almost half that. Also received discounted drinks in their bar so feel that the hotel treated us well over the heating problem.Would stay again if in Liverpool.

We loved our stay at this hotel!
Location was perfect for us, the overall nautical theming was great, the hotel was clean, staff were helpful and hotel had a good atmosphere.
Our room was spacious, very clean, came with a fridge, hairdryer and toiletries, and the beds were super comfortable.
Our only complaints about the room was that the tannoy at Liverpool Lime Street station was pretty loud and we could still hear it even with the window closed, our toilet didn't flush properly and there was no plug sockets near the beds
A massive perk for us was the free parking for 24hr per night. They had some spaces reserved for hotel guests even though the car park was otherwise full.
Breakfast was lovely and well worth the money for a buffet of continental and cooked food, and they were more than happy to cater to my dietary requirements on.
I will definitely be returning to this hotel next time I stay in Liverpool!

The beds were comfortable , it was annoying when a member of staff kept trying to get into the room when it was locked and i was trying to relax I felt under pressure to leave before 11am.

The room stanks of smoke chipped furniture, our 2nd stay here but disappointed this time

I just had a problem with the bathroom, lots of mould and a blocked sink, everything else was fine

Had to change rooms as noise from a service duct adjacent to Room 314 kept us awake. Transfer to a different room was a bit protracted but we got there in the end. Sound proofing between rooms isn’t great.
Other than that smart hotel with free parking and bang in the middle of town for station and theatre.

Very close to Liverpool Lime Street station. The rooms may feel a little old, but that's okay. They also stored my luggage before check-in.

it was literally on top of the main railway station, very convenient location

Nice hotel and reasonably priced, rooms are a bit tired and in need of an update but comfortable all the less, good location for the city centre.

Group of eight adults visiting Liverpool. It's a good three star. Can't fault the hotel overall. Probably stay again.
However, my wife has Coeliac disease and is allergic to gluten.. She requested gluten free toast which the server said they had and it was brought to the table. She spent the rest of the day vomiting and stomach cramps. She brought it up with the server the following morning and it was dismissed. She ordered gluten free toast again and this was clearly gluten free bread, different shape, taste and texture. I'm just making anyone else with Coeliac or gluten intolerance to be mindful.

My room was very noisy. The radiator made 3 successive bangs every 20 minutes or so. You can hear the train announcements clearly. It was better during the hours of 12 to 4 in the morning. But it was difficult to sleep during normal hours. Otherwise everything was good.

Had a great 3 day stay at the Liner Hotel Liverpool. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good with one exception the eggs , you could win a war if you fired them at the enemy the yolks were lethal.the staff in the dining room and the hotelwere very helpfu
. Sue on reception was great. I'm planning another visit soon

The plumbing/heating system is noisy. My radiator was turned off (my choice) but I was still disturbed by the noise of the pipes during the evening, bedtime and even being woken by the noise around 5am.
Otherwise a nice hotel, very handy for the railway station etc.

Check in was fast and before 3pm.

Nice central hotel. The main problem with this stay was the check in. Room only available after a 45 minute wait after opening of check in. I was offered a free drink from the bar for the inconvenience, which was a nice touch. But not idea hanging around the reception after a long journey to get to the hotel. Had to ask if they had a room available and they did have a room, so I was waiting longer than necessary.

Kind people. Peaceful. A bit dated, but kept well.

The staff were friendly and efficient, dealing with the noise issue as quickly as they could.
The property needs all of the rooms on the Lime street station side to be at least double if not triple glazed.
The lifts are very slow to arrive and the wait can be a little annoying.
Having said this I would happily return again as the actual room we had was clean and comfortable

Good location and friendly staff. Free parking for hotel guests is a brilliant benefit. However the 6th floor is extremely noisy between the train line and the noise of the lift.

Lovely lovely hotel!!!
Needed the hotel close to student accommodations & the universities my son needed.
Staff extremely friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is set up like a boat and once you’re in it’s very hard to remember it’s a hotel not a boat.
The room was a twin very big & spacious.
Great bathroom and shower.
I would definitely stay here again.
There is an opportunity to use car park free for 24 hours. However due to my arrival time and having a bit of anxiety with arriving and no spaces I use a parking app that can park nearby.
Next time I would definitely use the car park.
Wasn’t as noisy as expected
Clean

Slightly dated rooms in regards to some aspects of the bathroom but still very comfortable and clean. Free parking absolutely perfect as well. Lovely greeting on reception on arrival and perfectly laid out room for the group we were in
