Property was amazing! We had the most pleasant stay we've ever had for our ski trip.
Location is right by the lifts and they have shuttles to take us everywhere and made it super easy with the kids.
Staff is so friendly and accommodating.
We are definitely coming back.

Darren was the best concierge and really saved the day getting dining reservations during the holiday. Perfect ski in and out location.

This hotel was the best. Everyone was so nice & welcoming. Its so convenient cause theres plenty shops around that the shuttle can take you to or you can walk. As a solo traveler what mattered the most to me was safety & i felt that staying there. Its a beautiful, clean, quiet hotel

Great staff and tasty breakfast. Shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient (and free!), and there’s a bus to Aspen that stops 5 mins away from the lobby. Ski rental shop and spa also good. Great and spacious rooms - we will stay here again.

The staff were not very helpful or friendly. The room had no light or a view. It felt very closed in. The bed was not comfortable. I’ve stayed at cheaper places with a much better time. I regret paying these prices and coming here and getting a sub level stay.

Sam was amazing, the manager, and moved us to a room with a beautiful view, because it was our anniversary! He went above and beyond regarding service, the Concierge did a great job, getting us dinner reservations, and our stay here was just perfect! Holly, recommend it!

Facilities are stunning, staff is super friendly and accommodating, restaurants and bars are the place to be in Snowmass. The spa also deserves to be mentioned. All around amazing experience.

We had a great stay at the Viceroy. It started off a little rough when they couldn't find our reservation and we waited while they tried to find us a room on a sold out weekend. They were able to provide us the ADA accessible room and once we were on our way everything was great. The room was beautiful, we had a large balcony and the shuttle took us to the Aspen JasFest and picked us up. Very convenient. Parking is steep ($55/ per car/per night) ouch! But otherwise I wouldn't change a thing, if fact we may stay again next year.

Stayed at Viceroy 5-6 times since opening in 2009. this time under construction which I found out after booking on hotels. wife got food poising from the awesome restaurant which killed next day activities and was going to stay a third night but the construction in the valet zone for new condos killed all fun. We are 3rd generation Colorado natives. 2 managers were to look at bill and email it to me which I informed them I needed it for business expenses. never did receive any emails just charged out remainder along with dinner. not the same place

I think it was unfair to charge a $55 a day resort fee when the lobby restaurant and the main restaurant were both closed and the pool was unusable because it was in the middle of a construction zone. In addition, the construction started at 7 AM every morning. I was only warned about all these conditions a couple days before my arrival. The least you could do would be to waive that resort fee!

Beautiful property. We loved it our dogs loved it. Beautiful rooms, they even gave our pups a gift when we checked in.

Despite the construction going on within and around the hotel, we found our stay wonderful. The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean and given a refresher while we were away during the day. We will be back!

I am sure that this is normally an exceptional property. Unfortunately, our stay was when half the main floor was shut down for remodeling. They are also doing a large construction project (literally) right next to the pool and hot tubs. There was no way to relax with such noise. I really feel like they should make it clear before booking that this is the current situation. We did get a short disclaimer after the reservations were made (non refundable) but it vastly understated the noise levels and construction activities. On a good note, the staff was exceptional.

4 star hotel at best. Restaurant and cafe were both closed due to construction. No tub in king bedroom pictures are deceiving. Should have just stayed in Aspen for the money.

I stepped on a one inch long pin that was sticking out of the carpet, luckily my shoes were on. Also hotel did not provide drinking water. There was no trash can in the room besides the one next to the toilet. There was only housekeeping in one of our three nights stay. Room was also dusty.

You should know we stayed Friday, 1/27 to Saturday, 1/28 not 1/26 to 1/27. For what it cost us, I would expected a little more personal service. We pushed our own luggage up to our room. We did not receive water bottles that other guests did. The room was nice although my husband did not like the way everything echoed in the bathroom.

Always a little intimidating staying in/near Aspen but this stay was wonderful. Everyone at the Viceroy were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

As always, the property is beautiful! The spa is great, the pool is fantastic, and the bar/restaurant is nice. I've stayed there for 10 years now.
I will offer some feedback on things that didn't go well this time, which was quite dissapointing:
1) We scheduled private car service for transportation to Aspen one evening, and after losing our initial reservation, they were over 20 minutes last on the second reservation - making us miss our dinner reservations in Aspen. Completely unacceptable.
2) On Sat we had planned on a pool/spa day and were frustrated to find that the entire pool and seating area was overcrowded with like 100 people for a wedding or some function? While I understand that happens, and we eventually found a place to sit, the two female bar tenders were just about useless. Like it felt like they had never bar tended before. You could have sold 2X the liquor if you had people that knew how to serve drinks.
3) While the Spa treatment was great, the spa front desk person wasn't there upon check-in, or check-out. Never seen that before.
4) No air conditioning Monday night left us with a night of trying to sleep in too warm of a room. Very unfortunate.
I think all of these things are fixable, so I am hopeful management can take them to heart and once again provide top quality service.

Great rooms, very clean and nice view. The restaurant wasn’t as good as the hotel. It needs to up its food. Breakfast in Toro was bad and highly priced compared to other places in areas. The front desk forgot 3 times to send for our car, called down to have it ready in advance and once we were down waited even longer. Only frustrating when you don’t want to be late for reservations.

Frequently couldn't get anyone in the hotel to pick up the phone, not a single food or room service order was correct, food and drink service by pool ends at 5 pm?

We booked two rooms for Christmas and a few days before our trip, I got Covid. I tried to cancel 1 room (still sent my children) and they would not give me a refund. Several of the staff told my daughter that if I sent my Covid results I could get a refund for my room. I sent the results and then a manager said that was wrong and that we couldn’t (waited til the last day of my family’s stay to say this. She was rude and completely condescending. The Viceroy does not have any correctness or care one ounce about it’s guests. I will never ever stay at any of their properties ever again. Being socially responsible, chose not to expose the rest of the Viceroy feasts. In dealing with a worldwide pandemic this hotel doesn’t care.

My husband and I called ahead and asked for an early check in. No room’s available at that time.
That’s fine so we left our bags with the valet to be stored in the suitcase room. Went to grab lunch to kill time until our room was available, came back to the hotel an hour later to find all of our personal belongings 3 suitcases and 2 backpacks just sitting in the breeze way unattended for anyone to just pick up and walk off with. My husband and I furious as stated these are out personal belongings, I had jewelry in my backpack! I spoke with valet manager and she did nothing. Basically just brushing it off like it wasn’t a big deal. I explained to her how upset I was and all she kept saying was she had no idea why this happened and didn’t compensate for anything. It was simple unacceptable. And I voiced that to her, I told her that I wasn't happy at all about the situation. She didn't even give me her name or try to make it better.
Horrible experience. I won't be staying here again.
If it was up to me I would of canceled my whole reservation with your hotel and went to stay somewhere else. Do to the holiday season nothing else was available for me to do so.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED TO LEARN UPON ARRIVAL FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED $50.00 FOR A "RESORT FEE" FOR AMENETIES THAT I WOULD NOT USE AND THEN BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $50.00 FOR "OVERNIGHT VALET PARKING" WITH NO OPTION TO SELF PARK! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! OH, SHOULD I MENTION THE $64.00 FOR TWO BOWLS OF OAT MEAL, TWO ORANGE JUICES AND A 20% TIP ADDED TO THE BILL WITHOUT HAVING ANY CHOICE!!!

Beautiful room set up with plenty of room. A nice fully stocked kitchen area, living room area, bedroom and fireplace. Enjoyed the balcony too!
