Location was great
The room has potential but was old, dated and in desperate need of repairs and upgrading.

Location was perfect for us
We were assigned a new room and not advised so at 4:30 am we entered the room we thought we had only to find it occupied by someone else!

Location was good.
The couch was wet and never dried. The unit needs refurbished. A/C units old. Beds and linens old.

Lovely apartment, great location, balcony overlooking the beautiful fountain. Owner was very accommodating and responsive to my need. City bus #20 takes you from the airport to the building.
Could provide better dishes and glassware. There was only one wine glass.

I love the location. Although so might think it’s far from town, it’s only a 20 minute walk. I love the lanai. The views from the room are spectacular! I also love the shower. It’s nice and roomy and classy. I also really liked the area in the back of the property that had lounge chairs and tables with grass. It also has a patio area you can sit and see the ocean right in front of you.
I’ve stayed in air b n bs before and I felt like they were always fully stocked. I had to go and buy toilet paper. There was no Kleenex. It was lacking the little extras that most air b n b have.
The fridge did not work right. I was pissed because I bought food from Whole Foods and the fridge froze a lot of my food. I tried to adjust the temperature but nothing seemed to work. It wasted my money and had to go buy more food. The electric stove appliance I couldn’t get to work either. The light switch when you walk in wasn’t connected to the lights in the room. Had to walk in a dark room when I entered.

Awesome, quiet location close to the city and right on the ocean. Great views, responsive staff. Room was clean and comfortable... would definitely come back.

No, parking
Only one towel in the bathroom, no hand, towel or washcloth… The bath towel was old damp and didn’t smell that well

location
smoke detector was disabled. a lot of dust, hair and debris under and on furniture. no pool or beach to enjoy.

The location was great. Close to everything, but far enough from the crouds. The courtyard area was very nice and peaceful.
The parking is weird. Very limited on site and the park gets very busy during the day and can be tricky to find parking. There is no on site staff.

Close to beach
Let’s start with the air conditioning sucks and barely worked, freezer door would not shut, not enough toilet paper, no kitchen table and the outside table and deck I had to hose down myself…. Definitely not worth the money!

The veranda and view were amazing. The check in process was easy. The facilities were old school - charming and adequate. The location was very convenient. Being able to enter the ocean right in front of the building was incredibly convenient.
There was no soap in the bathroom. The parking was very tight.

I’d like to preface this with saying that the room we stayed in was not ran by the actual hotel but was ran by the owner of that particular room.
When we arrived, the key was not in the lockbox. It was also not easy to get ahold of anyone who was any help. We eventually got to our room (still with no FOB) just to find out the fob was left on the table in the room. I don’t actually think the cleaning lady cleaned the room since for checkout that it where you are supposed to leave the fob.
When we got there, there was still used soap on the bathroom sink, used soap in the shower, a wet towel ln the drying rack, and cockroaches. We found a cockroach on top of the fridge on our first night. We sound a cockroach in the silverwear drawer on the second night.
I will say the view was really nice. Great for sunset photos and a nice view of the mountains. The place is updated and truly has the potential to be a good room but I would personally invest in someone who actually cleans your rooms…..
also it is in a good location. Mostly everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

great location away from the noise and madness of Waikiki. the ocean and Diamond Head views were lovely.
no closet or wardrobe to hang clothes, the futon was old and it’s springs were too uncomfortable to sit on. had trouble with the tv and the services rep told me it was too late at 8:30 pm for him to help us. the front desk is vacant after 4:00 pm each day and all weekend.

the view was amazing.
the room was out dated bed creeped and was absolutely uncomfortable. The fridge starting leaking all over the floor and staff did not speak English so they didn’t help.

Location is great - quiet, beach access, beautiful views.
I called twice and texted once to explain about some problems and nobody ever got back to me. No light at the front door - very hard to use the keypad at night. Not enough outlets unless you unplug the microwave, coffeemaker, and hairdryer! We needed to charge our phones and iPads and it was annoying. And one outlet didn’t even work.
Nothing was an emergency - which was good because I couldn’t reach anyone!!!

The view of Diamond Head was very nice but could only be seen out of the front window which one mostly had to keep the blinds closed. The pictures on the website are deceiving as to where diamond Head is. It is in the back of the property not on the side or the front. The Barefoot Beach Cafe the distance was a very nice place to eat. They had some sort of music every night.
Really disappointed. I paid extra for Ocean view and the only place you could see the ocean was by the entrance door looking straight out into about an 8-ft crack the air conditioner is within a foot of the bed and it was very uncomfortable to have it so close sleeping. The hotel is called beachfront which it is oceanfront but there is no beach only a seawall. My husband likes to hang up his clothes and there was no hangers or a place to hang them up. People on the review said that the location was good. We are older and there was nothing with him what I would call walking distance except for a nice little Beach Cafe that we went to office.

I really liked the location. It’s far enough away from lots of people but close to everything as well
In the unit I stayed at the balcony sliding door wouldn’t open much the track was broke and the bathroom had several dead lightbulbs which the people at the desk wouldn’t help me bc they dont manage my unit. Also my parking stall was double booked and it was an issue as well. The hot water kettle was so filthy I couldn’t even use it.

The property was amazing, the view was much better than expected. We met the cleaning crew on the way out the door in the morning and they were extremely friendly and nice. The property was exactly what we needed for a few days in the city. We loved how close it was to the beach!
Parking is a bit of a struggle, unless you make arrangements AHEAD OF TIME to park in the garage. There is parking around across the park, if you can find one, but plan to drive a few circles looking for a spot.

we would 100% return to this property! it has everything we needed. the views are absolutely stunning of both the ocean and of diamond head. everything in Waikiki is absolutely walkable - only 3/4 of a mile to dinning - a nice stroll alongside the ocean. the area is quiet and safe. The patio out back is the perfect spot to watch the sunset!! PLUS!! there is access to a private beach if you get tired of heading to Waikiki. There is snorkel equipment available in the apt as well.
the bed was very comfortable, great pillows, AMAZINGLY large shower and all the amenities you’ll need to have a comfortable stay.
so many beautiful beaches in the area. The hosts were super amazing and accommodating with parking and checking in and out was very very easy.
don’t stay at some expensive hotel. stay here - you won’t be disappointed. this was our first time in Hawaii and this apartment made our trip so much better.
if you plan to visit some of the touristy sites, I highly recommend taking the bus (bus stop so damn close to the apt)
mahalo!

nothing. we had everything we needed!

The bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing, best of both worlds mountains and the ocean.
The set up was odd. The hidabed was horrible to sit on, hard as a rock. Tiny side table used as a kitchen table. Made it uncomfortable to eat in. There were no employees staffing the front desk. We never had housekeeping. We had to buy our own toilet tissue, after the few rolls they left us were gone.

fabulous location away from the noise and crowds. lovely terrace to watch surfers and sunsets. comfortable bed. very good shower. good tv with selections. good size apartment. liked being on the ground floor for access to outdoors. great people to deal with. easy check in and out. good free street parking.
not much. mostly met all our needs. only minor complaint: I knew the cooking would be basic but the hot plate furnished barely boiled an egg.

What a superior location. exactly what I wanted. Response time was great!
There was no parking included on property but free parking is available around Kapiolani park. You may have to walk a bit but it is possible.

ocean front, great shower.
dirty, no room to put clothes away, very cheep mattress, furnishings, refrigerator, and not worth the money.

Loved the quiet location, the ocean view was stunning. Very large unit giving us lots of space. excellent.
The property could do with a deep clean, broken blinds replaced, windows and glass doors don’t slide easily.

Overall it was a pleasant, enjoyable experience! I would definitely stay there or recommend staying there to friends and family!
2 small inconveniences:
1) The shower light kept turning off and on while showering.
2) The TV remote was impossible to work, but good thing we had our computer to watch shows on.

It is hard to get fresh air from outside, though the room is next to the beach.

Being on the water, to see the sunset. Close to main strip.
No outlets in the bathroom, the light switch not working at times in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled musty. The ceiling peeling paint. The patio was not clean and needs updating.

We need get a breakfast, we have to go out to eat, but the location was great, beach in the back yard was a plus. Right across was a very very nice park.
I didn't the like that there was no phone, coming from Japan I had no communications via phone with my friends, the internet was not good, we had to pay to rent a modem. No standard TV channels, I could not watch football the whole 2 weeks I was there. There was a smart TV but I didn't have access to the channles, I couldn't watch anything live. Worst of all I got a parking ticket because we had no where to park, with the amount of money this cost it should come with parking. Cost me an extra $35.00 bucks.

very clean and easy to get to.
the front door and sliding door were very loose and banged all night in the wind. the remodel was nicely done but the shower head is totally ridiculous. it’s hard to shower with water only trickling out of the head.
