Our family of 6 loved the Giotto apartment. It was easy to walk to all tourist attractions, the best cafes were on our street and the apartment was big enough for us all to relax in. Salvatore was a great host - thank you for having us!

Perfectly located, the apartment is walking distance to everything, and just around the corner from the Uffizi. Salvatore is a kind and knowledgeable host, with recommendations for everything we needed, and kindly arranged for our taxi on the day of departure. The apartment has a wonderful coffee and gelato shop on the first floor, and was always our last stop after touring for a day. If I'm fortunate enough to return to Florence, I'll be sure to come and stay again. Thanks so much for a great stay in a wonderful city!!

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It is in walking distance of the major sights, near many good restaurants, and next door to the best gelato in Florence! Salvatore is a perfect host, communicates with visitors, and was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, etc. I plan to go back.

We really enjoyed meeting Salvatore and staying in his lovely apartment. We visited over New Years and probably should have considered the noise level on the street when we booked. The apartment is in a busy area, which is wonderful when it’s time to grab some food or drinks - but it got a bit loud late into the evening when we were trying to rest. I’d say that during low periods, it is probably much quieter. Also, if you plan on staying out late, this is a perfect spot for you!
The apartment itself was well-appointed. The large dining table was great for our big group, and everyone had plenty of space to spread out for sleeping. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking, but we only had quick breakfasts there so as to enjoy the fabulous restaurants in the neighborhood. Salvatore kindly recommended both touristy and more local activities and restaurants, and everything he suggested was a homerun.

We really enjoyed our time in Florence. We didn't spend much time in the apartment other than to sleep and clean up, but it was fine for that. The apartment is rich in history as most buildings in Florence are. It's a bit dark because of limited windows that point outward or aren't blocked by nearby buildings and there are lots of squeaks and creaks. Salvatore was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. He recommended several good eateries and even scheduled our departing cab for us. One thing we were disappointed about was our booking confirmation came through with the picture of an upstairs patio/terrace with views of the city. We had been excited to use this during our stay. However, there are 3 different apartments under this one listing and that was not part of our apartment and we couldn't use it. I think that was misleading whether intentional or not. Ask SPECIFICALLY which apartment you are getting and read details closely to know what you're getting.

The location of this property is perfect!
Very convenient for walking to restaurants, museums, shopping, and all major attractions. Salvatore is a wonderful host and very helpful with any questions about the area. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, & well equipped.
Would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Salvatore was a great host and very professional. He met us on time on the day of arrival and provided us with a detailed and helpful check-in process. The apartment fit our needs and comfortably fit our family of five. It was in a great location so if we wanted to go back and rest for a bit we could. On the same street was a cafe that we went to every morning for breakfast, and a place to get excellent gelato, and down the street was a very popular panini place. I would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was in the perfect location for exploring Florence! Everything was within walking distance. And it was also a great location for van pickup on our day trips. Salvatore made sure we had everything we needed and he even stocked the kitchen with yogurt, cookies, milk, etc. An added bonus was when Salvatore showed us another apartment he was renovating and he had uncovered a 200 year old fresco painted on the ceiling! He also took us to the rooftop and showed us a beautiful view of Florence! We were a group of 6 adults and we never felt like we were crowded. There are 2 short flights of stairs but they are steep and can be challenging for older adults. The upside is we got our exercise that week! There is some street noise at night, but that's to be expected when you're in one of the most "happening" parts of Florence.
The gelato shop downstairs was the perfect ending to our days of exploring and right down the street there is a sandwich shop ranked as #1 in the world on Trip Advisor. There's always a line so be prepared to wait! Just a block away on the way to Santa Croce there is a fabulous perfume store which also has bath crystals and lotions. It's called Aqua Flor and it's worth popping in and seeing just the decor inside. Absolutely amazing! Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Florence. We will definitely be back!

Cannot say enough about this property and the hospitality of Salvatore. The apartment is beautiful with 20 ft. ceilings. Very spacious and well appointed. Location is outstanding. Close to all of the attractions, grocery store 50 meters down the street and great places to eat in the neighborhood (the gelato in the shop next store is amazing). Best of all was the warmth and hospitality of Salvatore. He was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure, helped us with the luggage and left us a fridge stocked with milk, yogurt and cookies. He checked in on us throughout our stay and arranged for a taxi for our departure. Outstanding host!

We had a wonderful week in Florence and in Giotto. The apartment is in a historical building and has an excellent location. Beds in all bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. There also was a cot and high chair for our little child. There was space enough for eight person. Salvatore was very kind and helpful host. He gave us knowledgeable information, helped us with luggage and ordered a taxi, when we left the apartment. Thank you very much for all!
