The property was in a central location.
When we first arrived they didn’t have the correct room that we reserved. The property had a smell of sewage, particularly in the morning. We suffered bug bites from bugs that were found in both beds. We were moved to a second room that had a tub that didn’t drain, and the vent for the heat and air did not work.

The hotel is well located in a quiet area outside the French quarter, but close enough to reach everything. The room is huge and the sports facilities are well equipped.
The breakfast did not offer healthy options

My room was ready on arrival. The property is very near to streetcar stops, restaurants, shops and bourbon street. Fantastic for a first time solo traveller or a few days down in downtown New Orleans. Staff were always at the front - late night or not- and the rooms are large and comfy too!
Nobody helped me with my bags up to my room. The property check in area was small but easy to locate but there was no comunal area if you did not want to be in your room besides the breakfast floor. Also, my safe kept on breaking so I did not feel my personal items were secure. And my toilet handle became loose so a few things needed maintenance. Cleaning staff came in the mid afternoon rather than the morning or midday.

The property is walking distance to some of the must do’s in the city. We did the hop on hop off tour and the pick up was very close to our hotel. The location is great and far enough that you are not disturbed at night.
Breakfast was misleading and needs more selections.

Check in was very smooth and quick. The room was beautifully appointed and everything was very clean. The walkability of the hotel is also fantastic to the French quarter!
The only thing that gave me pause was none of the staff smiled except the valet.

1) Great Breakfast, um a sucker for crispy bacon. Good assortment of choices.
2) not far to Bourbon St., Harrah's Casino, and other places.
3) Accomodating Staff.

The staff was friendly and the location was great.
The beds were very uncomfortable and every time we moved the bed was squeaky as it sits on a wood bed frame. The A/C unit kicked on for 5 seconds very loud and did this every 15 minutes. We did not sleep well at all and that is all we wanted to do in the room..

Breakfast had minimal items so we never ate.
Location had quite a bit of homeless outside and we were robbed while there on way back to hotel.
see above. Not only did we get robbed and had phone and the debit card used to check in; once we informed hotel, they did not cancel that charge and instead charged me a second time on my other credit card. And to make matters worse, gave me a receipt for balance paid in the amount of $425.84 yet when we got on the road and out of New Orleans, received a notice from bank that they actually changed my credit card $732.78 so Ingot scammed for an additional $306.94. I immediately contacted the hotel and I was assured all of this would get corrected and my money credited back and it’s not been 5 days and nothing. So I booked this through Booking.com for a total amount that was supposed to be $582.78 and at the present time, my debit card was charged $156.94 advance deposit and $425.84 at time of check in and instead of canceling that debit since card was compromised they said they needed to charge my secondary card the same amount of $425.84 and instead fraudulently charged $732.78 after I left with a receipt that shows $425.84.
So at the present time I have been charged a total of$1315.56 or $732.78 over of what confirmation of booking cost. I need Booking.com to help correct this situation and get my money reimbursed to me!

Decent location. Big room
Lack of facilities. Minimal service. Breakfast was chaotic due to only one hard-working member of staff on shift for the majority of our stay. Not his fault but lack of management organisation. Room was slightly scuffy and not the cleanest. We discovered that for lower price we could have stayed at a better hotel nearby and in future will do so.

The location is fine, breakfast was okay. It was couple hot selections including potatoes, eggs and sausage.
I did not like how the staff treat the people. I booked King studio room for 6 nights and was coming for a job conference by myself. They told me that they don’t have a king room and gave me the queen room claiming that queen room is more expensive since it has 2 beds. I went my room and checked the prices from booking.com. I saw that there was a difference and King studio was the expensive one when I booked it. For 2-3 days I tried to contact with the manager, but manager didn’t come and talk to me in-person. the manager sent one of the front desk staffs and told me that ‘contact with Booking.com and told them get your $100 back’. It was so ridiculous given the fact that the difference between 2 rooms x6days was higher, and he didn’t even try to calculate it.
I could get my regular housekeeping (changing the trash bags, towels) after my 4th night, even though I put an order for every other day during check-in. They were telling that every room will get cleaned with Lysol after 4th night of the stay, mine never got this during my entire 6 nights of stay. I saw some other people complaining about housekeeping, and front desk staff was making an excuse that they are so full of people. Why would you sell a room if you don’t have enough people and capacity to take care of it?
