The location of the hotel was prefect for why we were traveling to ABQ. Walking into the lobby area was cute and welcoming, very easy to figure out where we needed to go. The open area was comfortable for breakfast and the evening cocktails. The staff were amazing, very kind and friendly. This goes for the staff at the bar, breakfast area and the normal hotel staff.
The cleanliness of the hotel could be better. Not sure how often they vacuum the hallways but it was clear that during our two day stay it was not vacuumed. There was a trail of potatoes and other food with ketchup that spilled on the floor from another guest (I'm assuming kiddos or parents with their hands full) and when we returned later that evening the trail was still there minus the big chunks of potatoes. In our room you can see where the mopping stopped in the bathroom, the vanity is open underneath and the line is very noticeable. Between the lack of cleaning in the halls and possibly the rooms it does cause concern since this is also a pet friendly hotel.
Also to us it is odd that a hotel that has a large parking lot charges their guest to park during their stay. Seems a bit like price gauging in areas that should be included in the high price of the hotel.

Staff were lovely and we had one of the nicest meals of our trip in the on site restaurant. Room was a good size, wifi was great and the style/decor and feel of the hotel was really enjoyable.
Breakfast was very busy and a long wait for the made to order station, it seemed they had a conference in the hotel and it was busier than usual. The lady working the station was doing her best, but it seemed they could have done with a second chef on that station
The local area didn't feel safe to walk around - maybe that was just our perception, but we stuck mainly to the hotel and/or Uber to go outside

The breakfast was really good and it’s in a great location. Beautiful hotel.
The pool smelled like dirty feet and pee, when we got to our room to shower afterwards the tile was black from the dripping pool water, so gross. And we asked for room service daily and didn’t get it.

I loved everything about my stay from the check in, staff, room, ladies at the breakfast area. I loved it all. Will definitely book again in the future.
I thought that the swimming pool could have been a little better.

The size of the TVs, that’s pretty much it.
Not as clean as I’d expected from an embassy. Hair on towels, bedsheets, broken ice machines, understaffed for cooking breakfast, 25 minute wait in line for a 2 egg omelette. Hot water took forever. Bathroom majorly different from pictures.

We enjoyed the convenience of the courtyard since we were there for a 50 year celebration with friends. The free breakfast was very good and fast. Enjoyed having the bar and restaurant available in the same area. All very good.
I can’t think of anything we didn’t like. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us.

My family loves staying here. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great! There is a bar available until 10:00 PM.
The only bummer is they say breakfast is served until 11 AM, but check the hours for the buffet in the eating area. There are different times for certain days of the week. My family and other people showed up for breakfast at about 10:25 AM. on a Sunday, but we barely made it! I felt bad for the other families showing up expecting to eat before 11, but they couldn't. I suggest getting to the buffet by 10:00 AM.

The rooms are spacious and the availability of a free breakfast.
I had been offered an upgrade at a discount through Embassy Suites. I took the offer for $50 late check out for 3pm. I also received a confirmation email stating that this was approved. Upon arrival I was told I would be charged an extra $150 to stay until 3pm. I showed my confirmation email to the staff and he stated he didn’t know why I was given that and Embassy Suites doesn’t offer the vip option upgrades. My husband got upset and how dismissive the staff was and did let him know to look at the email. The staff responded with “there is no need to get aggressive”. That was not an appropriate comment as the staff was not taking the time to look at my email and continue to let me know that this was not something the hotel did. My husband left due to the rudeness and I then requested that he look at the email. He finally did and did acknowledge that it was in fact an email that came from Embassy Suites. I then asked him to honor it. He said he would have to speak to his manager. After talking to the manger on duty, he came back and said the best he could do was for $75 and not the confirmed $50. With no option left due to the plans made for the trip, the rate was accepted. It was disappointing to start the trip that way.
Breakfast was to end at 9am and there was no staff available to help. All staff were in a “exercise” class. There was no sign indicating this. Therefore we had cold eggs and biscuits for breakfast. When a staff did come back, we asked about preparing an omelette and they let us know breakfast ended at 9am. My husband let the staff know that we had arrived before 9am and there was no one present but the burners were left on so we thought they were still making omelettes. We were again told, breakfast ends at 9am.
The last unpleasant and non-hospitable experience was with our key cards being deactivated before our late check out time at 3pm.

The beds we’re comfortable.
The front staff was not helpful. They were a bit rude and didn’t give us information on the amenities or where our rooms are. The room was not clean there were empty creamers open and on the counter. The pull out sofa bed bedding was not cleaned and the rugs were not vacuumed. We had booked a room with two double queen beds and given a king room suite. I asked about that with the front desk staff and they said that we get what we get.

Staff was great
Our room had black sticky stuff on the tile. I cleaned it up after waiting a while for housekeeping.
Lastly, when i was showering, i ran out of water. Yup, the shower stopped working for 10 minutes. When it came back on, it was just a trickle.

Room was decent. Comfortable
Breakfast was way below average for Embassy. Food was cold. Coffee was cold. Understaffed as the line for omelets, pancakes etc. was too long and very slow,

The room was great nice and clean and very roomy. We asked for a late check -out. Which we were told it would be ok. The house keepers were banging on our door at 8am then they we're doing construction or something in the room next door. So it just defeats the purpose of late check out. Other than that it was nice. The pool could have used a good cleaning also the water was very cloudy and dirty looking.
