Mary is a wonderful host and the space came with every amenity you could think of.

Free parking. The property is beautifully gardened and there was a nice patio outside my room.

Comfortable and clean, had a great stay!

Very comfortable and clean. Private room and bathroom. Check in and check out process were very easy. Host is very nice and friendly. Parking spot available at the house. Approx 10 minute drive to downtown and all tourist sites.

Not much to note here at all, was a very pleasant stay.

My friend said her bed was really comfortable and I was so glad she said this.

Mary had a lovely breakfast - exactly what we wanted. Also, there was a day-bed in the room and she provided sheets for me so I could sleep on the day bed. It was quite comfortable and allowed my best friend to have the King Size bed to herself because she was having a back problem.

There was really nothing I didn't like.

Great option for comfort stay

The house is very comfortable in a quiet area. The host is lovely and very helpful.

There was one small leakage in the bathroom vent, not a big deal.

It was fine but not what I expected.

The location was good with easy access to downtown Kingston. The breakfast was good and very substantial. The host did her best to please us and we were comfortable enough.

It was a surprise that we had to get to our room by taking a narrow staircase to a lower level. The air-conditioning made the room very cold but we were able to warm it up by opening a patio door. This was a walkout to a heavily treed garden. The area was very safe and the host did her best.

The bed was ultra comfortable and Mary was the sweetest hostess...we had a great breakfast and the room was so clean...

Warm and welcoming and great location.

Mary was very friendly and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. Ensuite with a living area was spacious and quiet.

Narrow stairs that were difficult to navigate with a large suitcase. This by no means reflects on our host.

Very enjoyable.

Mary was a very warm and welcoming hostess. Our room was amazing. Comfortable king bed, private bath and patio area. Gardens were lovely. Close to shopping malls and tour of Kingston Penitentiary.

We had a great stay over the days of my daughter's graduation

The location was great and the privacy of the room made us feel very comfortable

The door key was sticky and required a little practice to use.

Very nice comfy room and neat facilities! The lady running the B&B was super sweet, even made me scrambled eggs for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again :)

Exceptional

The hostess was very congenial and provided excellent breakfasts. We were reasonably close to our weekend destination. There was also an excellent Japanese restaurant, Akita, nearby.

Because of the recent storm in the area the patio entrance was not available. The storm was devastating across Kingston and other areas of Ontario. I'm sure this will be rectified.

Amazing and clean accomodations with delightful hospitality!

This is a very unique bed and breakfast. Visiting from Toronto, I chose this for the great reviews and the great price - and I was satisfied to know that it exceeded my expectations. Please note it's cash only, so make sure you stop by a bank machine before you arrive (it should say under "payment" when you book). There are four rooms on the basement level, with the rooms being very spacious and having big beds. Room had a TV, bathrobe, towels, desk, and very comfortable pillows. The owner, Mary, has provided above and beyond service from the moment I stepped into the property and even after I stepped out. There was no staff except for her (at least during my stay), and she was very clear with the information we needed to know regarding the washrooms, unlocking the front door, etc. Breakfast was served at 8:30 am, and we were treated with toast, homemade jam, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and scrambled eggs. There was wifi and drinks available throughout the night (self serve of course) on the floor we stayed on. Mary treated me very well and we had pleasant conversations throughout breakfast and the morning I left. I could honestly say that I've found my "getaway hotel" in Kingston the next time I visit. Thank you Mary for the amazing hospitality!

no breakfast offered, no laundry. We asked the lady when she wanted us to check out and she didn’t say a time, then on the day that we were leaving, the lady came to our room to tell us to leave because another couple was coming. It’s not a hotel or anything like that. Cash only. Wouldn’t recommend.
