Great Location in the heart of Olympic Village that is dog friendly. The resort grounds were clean and well maintained and they even had free bicycles to use for those that wanted them. They were awesome to our pet and welcomed her everywhere and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The rooms were good, but my guess is we stayed in the rooms for pets cause it smelled some when we walked in the door. I think the charge for dogs was a bit high and wish they would've used the fee to steam the carpet.

We have stayed here several times before and come back because we like the location and the hotel. We especially like that dogs are allowed. :)
It was warm and while a fan was provided, we weren't able to position it well in front of the window since the cord was short and the windows couldn't open all the way.
We miss the breakfast option.

wonderful hotel! food was pricy but well worth its price tag. my dogs loved the room (they gave them little doggie treats), and my daughter refuse to leave it. very cozy!
unfortunately no breakfast which is ok, got us out. the water was OVER PRICED. like eye roll overpriced. beds are very firm. other than that.

The location, the relaxed atmosphere, and very dog friendly!
The rooms were a little warm at night. Could improve on better climate control.

when I checked in my ski, they gave me another unknown person’s ski so I was a bit worried checking in my ski.
room entrance card all of the sudden wasn’t working.
they said the machine to fix my card wasn’t working at that moment.

Plumpjack is right next to the large tram so location couldn’t be easier. They have a hotel parking lot (important since the main lot can get totally full) and a ski rental in the same building. Restaurant is usually very good but it wasn’t open when I was there. Nice, small bar and outdoor hot tub.
The decor in the rooms was quite plain and a bit stark and outdated — I expected more cozy, mountain feel. They could do so much more (especially for the price). unfortunately due to Covid, they were critically understaffed so the restaurant was closed, bar closed second night, and housekeeping was very lean. I felt very sorry for them — the staff that was there was extremely nice and I didn’t fault them for the lack of services.

The location was directly across from the gondola ride to the top of the mountain and the Village of Squaw Valley. This was perfect for me since I didn't have a car. The staff was exceedingly hospitable. There is no elevator so someone carried my bag up the stairs. The front desk staff was accommodating and helpful. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were relaxing. I did visit in the summer so not much hustle or bustle anywhere. The facility and room decor are very rustic. I like that but I'm not sure everyone would.
I don't think there is easy way to get to Lake Tahoe without a car. There is a bus service nearby but I didn't know what I would find if I took it so I just stayed in Squaw valley.

Location. Nice staff.
No air conditioning. Drive you into the ground with extra fees. Rooms were half committed to being updated ski resort and still need updated. If was not close to resort/mountain would not stay at this place.

Positive was the staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the location was great.
Outdated facilities, room furniture was falling apart, window would not fully open and it was 95 degrees inside the room with no A/C.

Property is good, clean, room is large. They have a lot of parking, nice pool area. The location is 1 min walking to the shops in Squaw Valley, so overall is good hotel.
I literally spent 10h in the hotel, literally just to sleep and take a shower.
I had my dog with me that slept the whole time on her bed and at checkout I was charged the outrageous amount of $150 for pet fee.
I have traveled to so many places with my dog and never ever paid a ridiculous fee like this one, this is like 3 months of pet fee rent.

Summer visit. This is a typical family resort like place that will not awe you but has comfy beds, clean rooms and is located on the corner across the street from the Squaw Valley Resort Tram and Village. The pool area is a nice and clean though we did not use it during our one night. I don’t think it is a major issue given it’s location and elevation but there is no air conditioning in the rooms so on the rare hot days when one would like artificial cold air, well you are out of luck. Take a swim.
There are lots of places to take a walk or ride a bike but if you want to add items to your mini fridge or buy microwave popcorn, you need to get it in Truckee of Tahoe City.
Overall I can’t recommend this as an “A” resort because the cost is too high for the value. If everything is sold out a d you have no other options then you will be happy the bed is comfy and pool is cold.
Too expensive
No AC (Summer Visit)

Location Location ! - this was great
No Air conditioning and the room was incredibly hot (high 80 days in Squaw Valley) with no option of opening the window beyond 2-3 inches which wasn't helping at all. It was incredibly over priced for the room, the view was non existent although we paid extra for it and the No AC was the final straw that killed the weekend.
