Proximity to the highway. Ease of getting on and off quickly.
The property has 3 elevators but only one was working in the very back of the building.
Our tub was filthy and stained with I am not sure what, but I took pictures of it. We were not about to shower in it. So we had to go to the airport for a full day of flying with no showers.

Staff and breakfast was good
two roaches killed inside room and a lot crawling around outside property

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Breakfast was good for the typical free breakfasts of hotels of this type, staff was great, and I had no issues with the room.
Nothing I can think of. No complaints.

Pool was full of algae.

Breakfast was exceptional. Facilities were clean. We had a good experience other than a slow draining tub that the front desk was notified about and extremely uncomfortable beds. The beds were very hard- not firm but hard.
Breakfast. Front desk staff.

Has potential
Tv remote barely worked half the time. People across the hall were apparently deaf cause I could hear their TV loud and clear all night both nights i stayed. Tub drain didn't work so had to rig it with plastic to hold it up in order for it to drain. Tub had pieces of something in because I'm assuming the cleaning ladies couldn't rinse it out properly. Instead of vending machines they have a room with drinks and snacks that you have to wait in line at the front desk to pay for. I waited in line behind 1 person checking in for TEN minutes to buy a drink. My son ended up in line behind two people and waited for about 15 minutes to buy a drink and a snack.

The continental breakfasts were pretty good.
I wasn't told how to get back into the parking lot of the inn after leaving Carowinds. The staff of the comfort inn at the park should have made us aware that all entrances would be blocked by police. I drove for 2 hours trying to get into the parking lot for the inn. After asking different state troopers finally one let me turn into the lot. I do not know my way around that area and driving through there is difficult enough then add all entrances being blocked was horrendous. The room itself was fine and the staff was okay.

right next to Carowinds and decent.
Both room keys “expired” for no reason our second day there and we had to wait downstairs 5 minutes in the lobby before someone came to re-activate our keys to the room.

I like the area that it was in
I didn’t like that the next morning we asked for towels and the the lady didn’t want to give us no towels and she was very rude keep saying she doesn’t speak English we are guests and I felt she was supposed to make us feel at home and I didn’t. but the other staff was very nice . Breakfast was great

Nothing
Extremely dirty, walls bubbling and has the smell of heavy cigarette usage. A lot of damage in the rooms, picture ripped off the wall and hole in the wall. Nothing like the photos advertised.
