The friendliness of all the staff. Cleanliness of whole hotel even the bathroom outside the hotel. My Granddaughter loved the chocolate chip cookies. It was so relaxing sitting on the front porch. This location made it easier to walk to the part of the Boardwalk we didn't see last year.

A quaint hotel with excellent location in the heart of Ocean City

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is a less than 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and many great restaurants. The owner and staff were more than helpful in suggesting us great dining options, making sure our room is stocked with all necessities, and helping us with any and all questions that we had. The room was clean, and had everything required for a short weekend getaway.

The King Charles Hotel is a perfectly run small establishment that truly takes pride in providing clean and and comfortable rooms for guests. So much nicer than the bigger hotels and great location just one block off the boardwalk!

Ocean city excursion

The staff was friendly, the rooms were always clean when we came back from our ventures. The beach was only a 2 min walk from the hotel and the actual hotel room had a great size bed, a table to eat our takeout on, microwave and a decent sized fridge. 10/10 stay will be coming back.

We missed out on the fresh baked goods because we were always out late but everything else was amazing

Quaint hotel for a great stay!!

We booked a room at King Charles last minute. We were already in another hotel, but it was unsanitary for my family and I. I was so impressed with our room at King Charles, not one speck of dust, dirt, mold, etc. The cleaning staff really take pride in their work. You can tell this is a very well run establishment and we will be coming back again! (We’ve actually already booked before our leave!) We absolutely LOVED our stay!

I didn’t like that we were only here for a week! Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Would definitely recommend

Very nice and very clean! No complaints at all! It was our first time staying somewhere that wasn’t a larger hotel and it was way cleaner than the ones we usually stay at. Staff are very nice and friendly! We loved that they had baked treats every night. The whole place has such a homey atmosphere! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Close to the beach, very clean & welcoming

It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach. Location is absolutely perfect, lots of food options nearby within a 5min walking radius. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and even gave us some tips on where to eat when looking for crabs and oysters! I always travel with my own pillow and have had this thing for 10+ years and this is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that I have not used my own pillow because theirs were SO comfortable!

The King Charles Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly and offer great suggestions on where to eat and places to see. The owner made brownies every night. I felt safe and secure there.
