The hotel rooms were beautiful. The antique furniture throughout the halls was stunning. The ground were wonderful and the winery was a short walk away. The breakfast in the morning was perfect!
The floors are fairly squeaky. Whoever was staying in the room above us sounded like they were going to come through the floor.

The room was spacious. The staff was fabulous.
The bathroom was small and narrow. The shower was tiny and didn't have grab bars. Our room didn't have a coffee maker although it was supposed to.

Was kinda cool. Staff was very nice.
Well our bathroom was kind dirty. And the lighting was not the best. Could use some updating

It’s gorgeous! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The mattress was hard and there was no refrigerator.

The property was absolutely beautiful, from the drive in, passing the rows and rows of grape vines, to pulling up at an elaborately reimagined English countryside manor house. Check in was lovely, the front desk service manager helped us with our paperwork, explained our amenities with exhausting enthusiasm and handed us our key, yes an ACTUAL key. The room was breathtaking and we couldn’t be happier with it. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with danty features and lush bathrobes. Walking around the property we saw the library with all kinds of books, comfy lounge chairs, game tables and puzzles for the kids. The breakfast dining area was absolutely wonderful. I didn’t expect to be served on a table with a cloth covering, porcelain coffee cups, danishes, pastries, eggs and fresh fruit. We didn’t want to leave, unfortunately we could only stay one night but it was well worth the money we spent, which was very reasonable for a suite like this. We will definitely stay again!
No negatives, everything was wonderful

Offered an upgrade to accommodate my needs! Staff was very accommodating, both in the hotel/restaurant.
As stated previously, just wish the winery/ gift shop were opened a bit later.

Well run inn, quietly luxurious, with the most beautiful setting in the heart of the Williamsburg Winery. Breakfast every morning is free of charge, but this isn’t your standard free breakfast - instead an elegant setting with a wide variety of delicious foods to include fresh croissants and quiche and fresh fruit.
The inn is 5-7 minute drive from the Colonial Marketplace.

The location was great, very near the town and could walk to the ski lift.
Was able park right in front of the building.
Mary worked with us in being able to leave our car parked after checkout while we skied that day, was very convenient.
Mary was quick to respond to our initial reservation which was not done until later in the evening, and also to any questions we asked her.
Read the helpful info binder Mary put together, it has very useful information.
The unit has very good heat, but takes a while to cool down, ensure you turn the heat down early as it can get warm during the night. To her credit, Mary actually explains this in her little binder of info but we didn’t read it until the second night. Easy fix is just turn the heat down and open the front door a few minutes to let the cool air in before going to bed.

beautiful, the room was super cozy, the breakfast area was delightful, the ambiance felt European without being haughty. just a perfect getaway

The building is interesting.
Stayed here before and it was great. This time a real disappointment. Room had shards of glass on the floor. The front desk failed to notify housekeeping. Room filled with smoke from the fireplace during the night. No restaurant for dinner service, necessitated driving 15 minutes into town each night. Price for room varied by $100, depending on how booked. Checked out early.

Wonderful! Beautiful presentation & lovely options.
Check in could be improved. Several groups checking in at once & the desk person was irritated & stressed. Not a particularly warm/welcoming beginning.
