Breakfast was not available two of the three days I stayed at the property. That is one reason why I booked this location.

Staff was rude, elevator didn’t work, facility was not clean. Floor was dirty in the room like they forgot to vacuum. There was hair on the shower wall from two different people. Last time I stay there!

Breakfast was fine but repetitive. We stayed 3 nights.

Vernal has had a lot of snow but the parking lot was never plowed so it was hard to navigate. Also someone parked a car under the portico the entire time which made dropping people at the door.

The room was pretty nice

The lady who checked me in was very put out by me being there. There is only one door to go in and out of. There are more doors for emergency only with alarms. In the middle of the night the room across the hall was invaded by a drunk employee. There was vomit on the front desk floor.

The room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hot tub was nice.

We requested a room away from the street but were given one facing the hiway, above the hotel entrance. It was noisy as was the HVAC unit. Also the room was not serviced even after requesting service. We left one day early but have yet to get an adjustment to our credit card.

Needed to leave as early as possible the next morning. Waited for breakfast at 7 only to find that breakfast was not set up and the room was dark. There was no coffee available, even in the lobby. When staff (a guy in sweats and flip flops) finally put breakfast out, the coffee quickly ran out. The utensil tray was empty. The location is at the far end of town, so nothing is in walking distance.

The breakfast was good. Plenty of choices to make most folks happy. The location was great, close enough to town to enjoy all Vernal has to offer. Far enough to be very quite and peaceful.

The only thing keeping me from giving a "10" was when I asked the staff to not change our sheets. I only needed to get towels, pull the trash and vacuum. None of this was done. I mentioned this to the nice lady at the front desk and she got the trash removed and gave us clean towels. This was most likely a communication break down. That is the only problem we had!

The breakfast was good and the location was fine.

The ports for charging devices did not work in either of my rooms. In one of the bathrooms a light was out.

The beds were comfortable.

The man who checked us in was demeaning and rude. there was nothing courteous about him. We will never return there. we arrived at 2:20 pm. the parking lot was empty. the clerk made his way to the front desk and pointed to the sign saying “hotel check in starts at 3:00pm” and nearly walked out until I asked if we could get an early check-in. bothered by our request, he said for 25$. he acted very put out as he checked us in. he gave us one key in one of those paper folders which was used?! he rudely told us when breakfast was. I questioned that it is later on Saturday. I was surprised by that. the hotel was booked for a mountain bike race the next day (many families leave the hotel before 7 am) with many years of racing behind us, we have had hotels take note of the of this in the past, as their town transforms into a mtb mecca, and change the hours because of this large event. this man looked at us like we were idiots. friends who stayed there this weekend, told us similar stories. they will not be returning either. we had two nights booked, and decided to leave late Saturday night. it was raining so we parked by the front door under the protection of the portico. it’d take us 10 minutes to gather our belongings. we went to our room, the key didn’t work so my husband went down to get it fixed. the same man came to the front desk, put out once again. he unkindly fixed the card, and chastised my husband for parking near the front door after my husband had just told him we were checking out. my husband had to explain we’d be out of his way in 10 minutes or less. please note, it was 9:30 pm- there was nobody around. the hotel was once again silent. he was just unprofessional, unkind, and has no customer service abilities. he is not what any business should want as their first impression. there are plenty of hotels in vernal to choose from- we will go a different route next year.

it was nice place, clean, great area, friendly staff, good breakfast and great price.
