My daughter and I stayed here ahead of her starting a semester abroad at a local university and absolutely loved it. The pictures do not do the apartment justice, and Giovanella is a treasure of a hostess. Communication ahead of arrival was so easy and everything you could need or want is supplied. She has guides and maps and recommendations available for truly enjoying your time in Firenze. The location was perfect for us. It's not in the busy and noisy part of the city, but still close enough to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Many places to eat or sights to see were within just a few minutes' walk. The nights were quiet and we always felt safe. We appreciated being able to adjust the temperature to our liking. If you are trying to decide between this place and another, you will not regret choosing this one! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this immaculate, comfortable, lovely home which is exactly as the pictures show it to be. It is located in a lovely area of Florence, and within a 5 minute walk you can be at Piti Palace or across the bridge! The owner is amazing, helpful and so kind! It is a perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Florence!!!

We loved Giovannellas place. Quiet local neighborhood just a short walk to Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio, and a stones throw from Boboli Gardens and the Palazzo Pitti which basically blew my mind right out of my poor little head! Three wonderful days of soaking in the gorgeousness, resting in our cool and quiet apartment, and feasting in local trattorias. Can't wait to return.

The hostess, Giovannella, gave helpful info and recommendations. The space was pleasant, spacious, and just had good energy :) I really enjoyed the style of decoration. She let us store our bags for a few hours after checkout, which we really appreciated. As others have said, this place is even cuter in person than in the photos. Good walkable location. Would definitely return! Only less-positive thing: check-in process unfortunately happened during a downpour and we didn’t know which doorbell to press (or weren’t pressing hard enough or something?) so we had some unpleasant minutes waiting uncertainly in the rain. In good weather I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Not sure if I missed some instructions but a bit more clarity couldn’t hurt either way.

Giovanella is a wonderful host and the apartment is in a fantastic location. Having a well stocked kitchen and nice big bathroom were great but we were four adults in a place more suited for two adults or two adults and small children. But we made it work. An excellent stay and great value in a busy tourist city.

This was our first time in Italy so we didn't know what to expect. We were visiting my daughter who was studying abroad in Florence. The apartment was very clean and we enjoyed the location. It was a convenient short walk to the other side of the river. We really did not do much cooking as we were only there for 5 nights. I quickly learned that European beds are much firmer that American beds. The only other thing that I wished we had was more comfortable seating in the family room area. The small couch only fits two people. Other than that we really enjoyed Florence!

A perfect stay with Giovannella. The property was excellent and ideally situated in a very quiet part of the city but within easy access to all Florence has to offer. But best of all was Giovennalla who could not have been kinder or more helpful.

This was a great location to start with. Great coffee stops and restaurants everywhere, around every corner. Shopping was so easy and you could walk to great shopping areas or buy from local small businesses in the neighborhood. You won’t need a car with this place. Clean and the owner is available to answer a question or to help with anything that comes up. She also has great recommendations for things and she was right. Some of our best meals cane from places she referred us to. Thank you and I will definitely stay here again. Also it’s quiet at night so good sleeping.

All the tourist stuff really was walkable from there and the neighborhood was safe with plenty to do. For dinners, my teenage children and I mostly enjoyed the restaurants within few minutes walk of the apartment. We walked at all hours of the night and day and always felt safe. The apartment is very spacious and super quiet and just up one flight of stairs so super easy. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. We'd definitely stay here again.

She welcomed us, showed us around the apartment, taught me how to use a moka pot for my morning espresso, and provided maps and information about Florence. I loved the location - close to Boboli Gardens and the Palazxo Pityi and Piazza San Spirito yet in a quiet neighborhood of apartments and charming narrow streets.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved staying in this apartment. Feels like a real home from home but in a beautifully quiet, artsy area of town, away from all the touristy crowds but within easy reach of all the main sites. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. For a family of four it was spot on and we had plenty of room. We stayed here while Italy was in the grip of a heatwave and although the flat isn't air conditioned, ample fans were supplied to keep us cool and comfortable in each room. Giovannella is a great host - patient, generous and was easily contactable leading up to and during our stay. She came to greet us on arrival and give us some great superb recommendations for food, gelato and local bakeries. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!

I was quite happy with this apartment. Our host, Giovannella, was accessible and friendly. The apartment was clean and had all that we needed, with a well-functioning efficiency kitchen. Although it had no air conditioning and Florence was quite hot, keeping the windows and shutter closed during the day and open at night kept us comfortable. The location is good - close enough to the city center, but out of the bustle, and near Piazza Santo Spirito for restaurants, and cafes. There are also a number of nearby options for bread, meat, vegetables and other groceries. I would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again.

The pictures did not do it justice. This little apartment tucked away was very bright and cozy. I thought the kitchen prettier in person. It had everything we needed. This is the neighborhood I always stay in so I knew it would have good food and be quiet. Would stay here again. There are a few super cute architectural details in the apartment. Not for people with mobility issues.
