It was my Bday, so they put a bottle of wine in the room which was great, and they upgraded the room which was nice of them. Great breakfast.

For a 4 star place - not sure how they got that rating. The place is in a state of disrepair - wood chipped off everywhere in the tree houses. There was only a double bed - and I am used to all places we stay having at least a Queen size. The food was below average - a tiny bowl of soup with no accompanying bread or anything - main course - cant even remember properly it was so poor, and then pudding - a few slices of pears or something. Value for money - just shocking - I just cant believe one pays R1400 pp for what you get here. I have stayed in 2/3 stars places better than this.

Breakfast was good, room was terrific, activities were great. Kids did the junior ranger course and we did the Guernsey Game drive.

Fun and wonderful facilities, the food was excellent! Joe our driver was fun, knowledgeable, caring and so helpful!! Great activities especially the village tour but of course the safari trips wow! They do everything to make your stay wonderful and accommodating. Hope to go back!!

tree houses are awesome. very cozy. i had monkeys around my tree house, i loved that. they do an amazing dinner in the Boma. food was very good. the pool is so nice. they invited me to stay again, cause all was so nice the 1st time. but there is a big BUT about the place now.

so, sadly, when i did stay there the 2nd time, things and money got stolen out of my room. there is no safe or anything. i had the feeling, they did not take the case serious. so, around 250 euros, headphones and 200 rand "disappeared" out of my room. they were so kind to leave me some cash and my credit card. this was my back up money. i stay in south africa 5 weeks and i don t know what to do now, cause there is a limit on the credit card and i am not a millionär. its a big issue. its huge. they told me the owner will take care of it when he is back from a business trip, but thats in a week or so. they kind of left me alone with the situation. i don t know what to do now. also it was very loud, the staff stays around the tree houses a lot and there is a car passing by like every 5 min next to the house, so, its not relaxing or anything. i don t know what to think about all that now.

the place is amazingly located in a private reserve where you have animals right in front of your private lodge. a lot of activities to do like safari, big five games, night drives…

The place is very pretty and the treehouse is very beautiful and outdoor shower is great. The guides and kitchen staff and chef were wonderful and put in alot of effort for guests which was so appreciated

The management is the complete downfall of this place. Our kitchen area had not been cleaned with crumbs and messing the fridge, marks on the glasses and ant in the kettle. The bed was very comfortable but our bed linen had holes in it and had a smell to them. There were also lights that weren't working in the room which we were told would be fixed and weren't. Although the chef put in alot of effort I do think for 4k a night the overall the food- mainly desert could be better quality. Other small thing that could be done to make a big difference were playing soft music in the dining area to create atmosphere it was so quiet ot made the area awkward. And use your outside seating area to sit guests at their own tables instead of putting a bunch of guests at one table. All these things could have been easily fixed but when speaking to management we were completely brushed off with no apologies or anything. They didn't seem to care about local support. It honestly ruined the experience

We stayed in Dream Luxury Tree House, which was the most fabulous room we have ever stayed in during our travels in the past. The concept of the Tree Houses are lovely, and they are decorated in a beautiful style - very spacious and have fantastic views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's just a wonderful lodge, and we will absolutely be back .

It's located quite remotely in Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, which is not that easily accessible in a small rental car. I suggest booking a transfer there or self drive in a SUV

Amazing place and was worried it would not be what I hoped since we were traveling so far. It was more than we hoped for.

There is some roughing it because it is so remote. No running water you can drink, though there is always bottled water for guest. The road in was in very tough condition so make sure you have a 4 wheel drive. Though they will come pick you up at entrance.

staff was very nice! tour was good to the manyeleti reserve (45 min drive) cosy pool area great lodging giraffes next to ur cabin

from the main road its a big ride to the lodge on a gravel/dirt road reserve itself contains little animals. good as a resort bit less suited as a safari lodge

Everything was really amazing and I mean everything. The tree house was so beautiful, well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the outside shower was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and caring. Charlotte was an absolutely amazing tour guide for the Krueger park tour. The guide from our Big 5 tour was also awesome. Unfortunately, we forgot his name. The dinner was very delicious as well. Thanks again for everything. It was an unforgettable experience for us. Tim & Jacky
