Situated in Indiana, this lovely house for R 3,857 per night is a great option for your next break. Nestled in the Bourbon Trail hills of Kentucky, rests Taylorsville Lakes only waterfront community. Strategically placed; Cottage 37 at Edgewater sits on a ridge that overlooks the 3,050-acre lake and its 10,000 acres of wildlife preserve. Recently purchased and remodeled the owners tried to capture the view from the kitchen table to inspire the cabins four-season theme. The wall hangings were chosen to mirror Kentucky’s beautiful hills, Derby culture, and the water of Taylorsville Lake. Upon arrival guests are welcomed by a lighted walkway up to the front door. The living room with new couches and lending library is the perfect place to read a book amongst the Flicker of the propane fireplace. A vaulted ceiling ties the living room and kitchen together. In the morning the sun rises over the lake giving the kitchen table the best place to watch the sunrise over Taylorsville Lake. A hallway leads to the main bathroom and guest bedroom. The guest bedroom has a 32-inch TV, a Queen bed, and one trundle bed. The master bedroom and its atmosphere of romance has a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a soak tub. Off the master bedroom is a large 20 by 14ft deck with a Hot Tub. From the first deck a step-down to a second 10 by 14ft deck with a conversation area and propane fire pit. The view from the deck overlooks Taylorsville Lake and the rolling hills. This property has a No Pet policy.

Let me start by saying we will stay here again when in Bourbon Country. The location was peaceful and safe. The house was a "home". We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck overlooking the water and have some wine in the evenings. The Christmas decorations in the house were great. We had dinner at the house every night. The kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean. Beds were comfortable. Toni is a wonderful host. Response on any questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. Thank you for sharing your place.

We decided to get away for a few days and explore the bourbon trail. Cottage is in a gated community. It was very private and quiet. Beautiful trees with a peekaboo view of lake. We had deer grazing within 10 ft of deck. Cottage was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Just a word of warning….it is in a small town and you will need to drive to get anything beyond basics. It was perfect for the two of us.

This house is just as advertised. Beautiful home that is clean and spacious with everything you need for a great getaway. Great communication with the owner and easy check in/out. Beds, pillows and linens were super comfy. The resort pool was right around the corner and it was clean and not crowded. Could not have asked for a better place to stay in the area. I highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back!

The property was well kept in a safe resort with gated entry to community. My family and I used this as a central location to visit Mammoth Cave, Louisville area, and Ark encounter. My wife was very appreciative of the extra details including available salt, pepper, and other amenities. The property manager was really easy to communicate with. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the area. Even though we didn’t use it, the lake looked amazing too and I’m sure would be a great lake get away.

This was an absolutely amazing place for our family getaway! Toni has thought of any and everything you could possibly need while away from home. Everything was clean and updated. The pool and marina were literally around the corner. Me and my family will most definitely be returning! My nieces also participated in the hide the money game! So to the next guests…good luck 🍀☺️

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised, very clean and spacious. We loved spending time on the back deck and hot tub. The owners have thought of everything you would need and we really appreciated the added touches such as the coffee and creamers. Definitely would stay here again when checking out more of the Bourbon Trail.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons! It was the perfect spot for a kid-free getaway, but we could have easily had both the kids here and enjoyed the property just as much. It was so clean and well-organized and had everything you could think of for a comfortable and convenient stay. We especially appreciated the complementary variety of coffee and creamer which kept us from having to find coffee shops out of necessity. It was a close enough and GORGEOUS drive to all the spots we visited. If we are in this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again at all.

The place was wonderful for our two sets of couples! Everything was nicely set up and decorated. Everything we needed was available. The owner was very communicative and helpful with suggestions and anything we might need to know ahead of time. We had a great time, and if we ever come back, we'll stay here again!

I adored this stay. The quaint gated “neighborhood” was quiet, peaceful, and offering not only views of Taylorsville Lake but offered a pool close by along with a hot tub on the back deck. We stayed at the house the majority of the weekend and also spend part of saturday kayaking across the lake! It was a wonderful time.

Truly a great experience!! We had a great time, the cottage was beautiful, so clean, stocked with all the essentials we needed! The property manager was so great and very quick with a response when I had a question! Highly highly recommend this property! My family and I will be back, and cannot wait for our next trip to Taylorsville! Our family ages were 1, 3, 5 and 2 adults and it was perfect! Kids friendly, safe, clean!

This cottage is very clean and well taken care of. The back deck is a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy a nice evening or lazy afternoon. The hot tub was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable. Toni was easy to work with and sent texts to communicate that we would be able to stop by early and drop off things prior to an outing that we had planned. We had a wonderful time with friends here and would stay here again. If you happen to be looking for something fun to do in a laid-back atmosphere check out Jeptha Creed Distillery it was a nice little find (the covered porch area is amazing!!)

We enjoyed this place so much, it's so clean and comfortable. All the convenience of home and more. The area is quiet and safe. Views spectacular and people very friendly. This was our first trip to Kentucky and we will be back. This was one of the best places we have stayed. It was very clean and the location was great. We love to cook and after a day on the Bourbon trail it was great to come home to a stocked kitchen. All you needed to do was bring your food. The cottage location is great! You can do as much or as little as you want. The deck, hot tub and fire table were used and very relaxing. Toni was great to work with and her recommendations were spot on!

The cottage was very clean and was just as pictured in the listing. The hot tub is big! Very comfortably fits four adults. The deck is nice and has a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed as we're the bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Gorgeous views and peaceful, quiet area. The cottage is clean and comfortable. We all slept like a baby here! Well equipped with what we needed including extras like paper towels, toilet paper etc. Owner responded quickly with any questions. Visited a few distilleries and Old Friends Horse Farm which was a great time! Would love to return sometime when the weather is warmer! Thanks for sharing your cottage!

Toni was excellent to book with and the place was beautiful! Friends gifted us with My old Kentucky Train tickets which was fantastic and staying here was the icing on the cake. Was nice to visit some spots on the Bourbon trail then come back and relax!!
