Amazing!

The hotel location is amazing,just 2 min walk from Grand Bazaar and 5 min walk to Agia Sofia,Basilic cistern and Blue Mosque.2 min walk from the tram station as well. Breakfast had literally everything and so tasteful and the room was beautiful and big. But what we loved the most was the staff,So helpful and always greeting us with a smile!They are always there to make your stay more than pleasant and answer all your questions you may have.We had great conversations with Mahmoud (the Syrian guy) and the lovely guy from Mardin! We can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend this hotel!

Location was fantastic as its right by the main attraction sites and tram station. Buffet breakfast was also great with lovely scrambled eggs and many other options to choose from, staff were always keen on replenishing it too. Reception staff were very kind to help us with the suitcases when checking in and out, as well as helping us with a late checkout. Room was very nice and clean with a balcony view and a very comfortable mattress. Daily cleaners were also good with replenishing used items; clean towels and water/tea/coffee etc. This was our second stay at this hotel and we were more than happy with the choice.

Would've preferred the cleaners to clean the bathroom/ toilets with sanitising/ disinfecting products and change the bedding as we were there for 6 nights.

War gut!

Sehr gute Lage, super Erreichbarkeit mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das Frühstück war fantastisch!

Die Sauberkeit könnte verbessert werden, die Lichtschalter waren bspw verschmiert und im Bad haben wir ein paar Haare gefunden

Efficenza, pulizia, comodità e cortesia

Struttura servitissima, vicino alle principali attrazioni di Istanbul e alla fermata del tram (i trasporti pubblici in città sono ottimi per spostarsi). L’hotel offriva poi un’ampia gamma di servizi: noi abbiamo approfittato di quello di trasporto in navetta all’aeroporto che è stato impeccabile. Ma soprattutto: la cortesia dello staff, super attento e accogliente! Ci ha fatto sentire a “casa” anche in una grande metropoli come Istanbul che, a primo impatto, può disorientare. Non ultimo: ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, camere decisamente abbordabili per un 4 stelle!

Great stay!!!

The staff was amazing. Loved the location. Very close to the Grand Bazaar and lots of good restaurants. There is a supermarket just across the hotel, with everything you need at half the price from all the other shops. The spa is fantastic.

Perfect hotel and perfect staff!

Excellent hotel. The position is perfect ( very close to all tourist attractions) and the staff is AMAZING! Definitely i would choose again this hotel.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, very friendly staff

Opet prvom prilikom u isti hotel.

Sve sto se tice lokacije, osoblja, komocije, cistoce, ponude, cijene i usluznosti. Posebno moram naglasiti da su uposlenici profesionalci i veoma kulturni.

Malo bi muzika mogla biti prilagodena u lobiju i restoranu da se moze razgovarati bez podizanja glasa. Takoder u toku noci se moze ista ugasiti da ne smeta gostima.

3 Nights in Istanbul

All staff at front desk (especially Yunos and Ersin) and concierge (Ibrahim) were friendly, pleasant, warm and helpful. They went that extra mild. Hotel is strategically located and within walking distance to eating places, tram and grand bazaar. Breakfast was good. Would definitely come back!

It’s location was central in the old part of Istanbul. Close to transportation and to the mosques

Definitely would stay again

We loved the area we stayed in, very convenient and local to all amenities. The staff were amaizing, breakfast was good

Location is excellent, close to the popular attractions. Hotel staff and reception team were very cooperative, professional and welcoming. A dreamily hotel that is worth every penny.

We love how friendly everyone was and the hotel was both clean and luxurious. The way they took care of us and our daughter Ayla was very beautiful. We would also like to thank for the great food. We wish to come back to everyone very soon. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Great stay at Istanbul

We loved the staff. The ladies in the breakfast were soooo nice . The boys at the front desk suuuper caring and funny. Yunus was excellent and help us with everything we need the transfer from the airport and to the port. Also the guy at the bar area was very friendly The beds of the room were very comfortable and we loved that we were very close to all the places we wanted to visit in old City.Over all the Hotel experience was amazing and certainly better that I was expecting.We highly reccomend you stay at Golden Royal Hotel.

A nice quiet place to escape to from the businesses of the old city.

This property is in the central part of the old city. It is tucked away down a side street that means it isn’t as noisey as other places. We were there during high season when 100,000s of tourists in the area, but the hotel was relatively quiet and we found a good place to escape from the crowds. This hotel also close to major tourist sites, easy access to trams and metro, close to ferries and buses. Perfect place to plan other trips from

location perfect to access attractions/ grand bazaar and metro access Reception staff Yunus helpful as always, kind sand looked out after us. Yasmeen lovely and make us feel welcome during breakfast time.

The hotel personnel was very sweet! And we were offered a Turkish delights box before leaving Istanbul :)

Very friendly staff, amazing service, breakfast was lovely, Abdur-Rahman was very friendly and very helpful during the whole stay, he would go out of his way and help us as much as he could and always welcome us. Yunus helped us with the checkout process and made it all easy for us. Staff at breakfast were lovely and would always go above and beyond. Overall an amazing stay in which I will definitely visit again.

The Golden Royal is a gem of a hotel in Istanbul. I love this city and equally love this hotel which is why I continue to stay here on every visit, it is my Go To Hotel! The breakfast is great with loads of choice, rooms are clean and beds huge and so comfortable. Location is perfect, in-between The Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar,so many eateries and the tram stop just 2 mins away. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and so helpful with any questions you may have. Special thanks to Ersin who always welcomes me back, Mahmud who gave me water amd coffee at 5am when I was gasping! and not forgetting Younas. Such friendly staff! Would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed Thank you for a wonderful stay. Xx
