breath taking view of the Ocean. Touristic place,can be crowded and loud at night. Friendly staff.

the location is amazing in terms of proximity to the ocean, which is only a few meters away from the breakfast table. Looking from the balcony to the Indian Ocean is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly prepared. As this is a rather touristic spot, the location tends to be a bit loud in the evenings from neighboring hotels and the beach can be crowded. Also the waves where so strong that swiming in front of the hotel was not possible. The beach is cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms are compfy as are the beds, but have seen their share of guests and could use some freshening up.

Good Experience with fantastic view of the beach!

overall a good experience, property is well situated and right on the beach . Staff is very humble and helpful.

Minor renovations in terms of furniture can improve the experience further.

Great place to stay in Unawatuna. Staff will go out of their way to help you.

Great location and great staff. Building is unique and has a nice vibe. You can always pop in next door for a pizza.

cleanliness is excellent though the bathroom could have smelled nicer.

Great place to stay near Unawatuna

The place is well located , the staff is really nice and goes out of their way to feel comfortable. The breakfast is awesome too. One can swim with the turtles at the turtle beach which is located within walking distance. The rooms are big and most of the rooms have good views

The swimming pool is not as big as seen in the pictures. The sea / beach in front of the hotel is too rough , one has to walk around 400-600 meters to find a nice beach (turtle beach) . The hotel is located near the Dallawala beach and not exactly in Unawatuna

Most enjoyable staying you can think of.

Everything was wonderful. The staff! really really superb! in everything. whatever you want or need they will attend to it. The manager can handle any situation. I loved how the staff treat my kids, they will play with them and provide anything they want. One time one of my girls wanted a mango juice which was not served in breakfast, the staff went out of the hotel to provide the juice to them and when I asked to pay, they refused and said that this is from us to the kids. Yeh and when we checked out, the a manager give us small gift which is small elephant souvenir. How good is that?

Enjoyed our 5 night stay. I would recommend for a quiet relaxing time

Breakfast was excellent. Idyllic location right on a quiet beach. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff very attentive . Just a short 3 wheeler drive to the heart of unawatuna where there are many great restaurants, coffee shops,bars and boutique shops

Excellent one night stay. Would return.

Very nice location and superb views from the full height windows. staff very attentive and helpful at all times. Especially Mr Khumar! Only stayed one night but would stay longer next time around.

Ideally a bar would have made it perfect.

good value for money for a few nights

good location, friendly and helpful staff and a very good breakfast

Next door was a club with very loud music from the afternoon to 1 or 2 in the morning. Also we were unable to pay by credit card as they didn't have that facility. We should have been told about that prior to visiting as we needed to pay on arrival.

Hotel is located in very good area! So comfortable that beach on the first line. Staff were so kind and try their best.

If you are planning to stay 5 days, you will eat the same breakfast every day.. I think, for this kind of hotel hosts can afford breakfast variety. Wi-Fi didn’t work 2 days, but on the 3rd day they managed in the second floor.

amazing sea view, really nice bedroom with balcony. staff very nice, they woke up at 5am to give us the last breakfast.

Location, right n the beach. Staff fantastic. Good breakfast.

No cable tv but they connected the day i arrived No liquor licence but did not inform until I asked for a beer Need more experience in cooking foreign food No visa/mastercard

Fancy villa directly at the beach :-)

Kushantha Kumara was very friendly, professional and fulfilled all our wishes. Even after I asked for a bigger bed, the upgraded us in a bigger room for free. Rooms are big with big glass windows to the ocean... Awesome view... Pool... And everything very clean

Hotel just opened after 2years COVID break. Some things from the menu were not available. In the evening especially at the weekend bit loud, because of club next to the property... But not longer then 11pm.

Staff.

Food is really bad, specially the breakfast, no choice , as per the price we have paid. Quite old property. Toiletries are just okay.

Disappointing

Nice beachfront location with an amazing view.

Rooms were not very clean, mold on pillows, toilet not working, hot water issues.

Attentive Staff but poor upkeep of the premises.

Staff were attentive and catered to our needs.

Rooms are over packed with furniture therefore it feels very stuffy. Also the common areas are poorly lit hence it gives a very dodgy vibe. Definitely not worth the price paid and don't be fooled by the title. Even though it says villas they are not villas! It's a 3 storey building with rooms. Poor upkeep of the premises. Staff needs to pay more attention to cleanliness.
