Clean accommodation, quiet area.

Solar lighting ameliorated an extended power failure, however, hot water for a cup of coffee would have been welcome. No soap supplied in the bathroom. No outside furniture for my unit.

Everything was exactly as described. Our host was very accommodating. He shared some good recommendations on roads to take and kept us informed regarding current events like loadshedding and flooding. The area was peaceful and the space was comfortable. The units are private and had a lovely well looked after garden. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The aircons were very useful during our stay. We will definitely recommend them.

The owner has taken proactive measures to ensure that the lights can be used during load shedding, as well as the fans in the bedrooms at night which is a blessing when trying to sleep in the heat, and of course assist with alleviating the irritation from mosquitoes. Also gas for cooking and boiling the kettle for tea and coffee. With the way things are going with load shedding in our country, it's important for those offering accommodation to look at alternative means of power to keep the bare essentials working for comfort, and he is certainly looking at all different options to make his guests stay as comfortable as possible. Also a lovely garden to sit in, and if you are lucky, be able to watch a good old thunder storm roll in to relieve the heat of the day.
