Not sure about breakfast, both my wife and I had diarrhea an hour after breakfast. Room was not very clean. Would not stay more than a night. We live in the Yucatan and have been to Playa del Carmen for 12 years.

La ubicación, muy cerca de playa y 5ta avenida. La habitación super amplia con buenos colchones y frigobar.

The location is excellent and very close to the 5th avenue, the supermarket and many good restaurants.

The toilet didn't flush consistently. Although our room was cleaned, they didn't restock some of our amenities like toilet paper and the coffee supplies.

The facility is old and simple

The breakfast was a nice variety. The room was comfortable and matched expectations. It is walkable to lots of restaurants, currency exchange. The front desk staff was helpful when asked questions and helped arrange taxis.

Great location, one block from 5ta Avenida, and short drive to parks such as Xcaret. Nice breakfast. Staff really nice and helpful. Our room was not the best at the beginning, we explain the issue and quickly they change us to a new room. Really happy with the place, fully recommend it. Little parking space in basement, have other external parking that solve the need. But when arriving when basement is full, you have to walk into lobby or use a doorbell to request access, and a staff member walk to the external parking to open it. Not a big deal but makes parking little complex at times.

Clean environment.

There is no openable window even if there are lots of moisture. We could not stay in std room(can not open window) due to bed smell. You should build your windows like a Holiday Inn Niagara Hotel(Canada)

Huge spacious room, very clean - with all the usual amenities one expects at Holiday Inn Express. Location is great for access to the main shopping street or the beach - everything is within 5-10 minute walk. You can enjoy the nightlife and walk back to the room without needing a taxi. Lots of restaurants and Oxxo / 7-11s nearby.

Parking so small. You have to leave car on another parking side. It was raining hard and everybody got wet and suitcases too

After booking a room with a King size bed,the hotel gave me a room with a double bed on the ground floor with a window facing a concrete wall ,the window can't open so the room has no natural ventilation.The condition of the room and the bathroom is horrible.

The breakfast was very good Lots of variety. Staff was excellent Room was cleaned on the days I wanted and cleaned well. On the days I didn’t want it cleaned I asked the housekeeper for what ever I need and she was great. Also liked the roof top pool, hot during the day but nice to sit up there at night and cool off and visit

location was great and breakfast was good to start your day. rooftop pool was entertaining for the kids and adults.

We had three room and one of the rooms, in of of the rooms, the shower celling was falling apart and in fact some of it fell on our head while showering. the second room had a leak from the celling by the seating area.

The stuff was great! really helpful and kind. The hotel is super close to the 5th Avenue which is the busiest street in Playa del Carmen.

The room was super unclean, lots of ants on the bed, in the bathroom, basically everywhere. We asked the stuff to take care of it but it didn’t happen. The cleaner came each day and just remake our bed instead of replacing sheets, and didn’t even mopped the floor.

The hotel is situated very close to the 5th avenue and close to the beach - a perfect location. Even though it's close to all the action, it's very quiet in the evening so you can sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can use hotel towels for both the pool and the beach.

The breakfast could be a bit more varied.
