Host was very responsive and accommodating, house was good to stay with children, but outdated in some ways with some of the host’s belongings around! The outdoor space was beautiful with firepit, bar and outdoor shower! Walking trail very close by! Overall perfect for what we used it for!

My friends and I stayed at the mermaid college for a weekend getaway. It was the perfect stay! The house was adorable and felt like a home away from home. We sadly got a rainy weekend on the cape but decided to do a charcuterie night-in. The house made the stay. Thank you Louise!

Cute house. Clean. We had an issue with electricity the 3rd day we were there. Out side lighting and some of the inside lamps wouldnt work. Couldn't use the nice outside area the last couple of evenings because of it. Wasn't happy about that because we invited family members over to use the firepit area and bbq that evening. Other than that, the house was adequate for our needs.

The family had a wonderful time at the “Mermaid Cottage”. The beach was nearby and multiple generations enjoyed it. I loved walking and playing on Mayflower Beach with my 3 year old grandson. The cottage was perfect and we all enjoyed time on the beautiful patio surrounded by tranquil gardens.

The cottage had everything we needed to visit Cape Cod - great location, comfortable furniture, full kitchen and little extras we all appreciated. The backyard was wonderfully equipped. Plenty of wood for a nice fire at night - we will definitely be back - Thank You

Mermaid Cottage is homey and inviting. The host provides everything you need for an easy and carefree stay. The patio and fire pit are gorgeous and make for a great way to wind down a day at the Cape. We highly recommend Mermaid Cottage and are looking forward to our next visit!

This cottage was perfect for our annual golf trip to the cape. The place was spotless and had every thing you needed to relax . The kitchen was more than well equipped to prepared all our meals It rained most of the time we were there but the patio would have a great extra. Even though we only got to play one round of golf our trip was great thanks to our host Louise.

I was so impressed by all the extras in the house. I didn’t need to bring anything except my clothes and shampoo! We loved it , it was so comfortable and with the great patio and walk trail right next to it I wish I lived there ! Thank you again Louise ,you were so sweet !

Great House, stayed for the weekend while attending a wedding in Dennis. Great centrally located rental. Louise was great to deal with. Easy check in, Don't forget to bring some firewood with you as there is a Wonderful fire pit and patio area, where we spent even the chilly nights on! We will rent again!

Perfect in every way!
The Mermaid Cottage is a hidden gem! It was the perfect vacation for our family. The property was well appointed and there wasn't one thing we would have needed that was available! The backyard is stunning and very inviting and relaxing! The host was gracious and easy to communicate with and we even met the handy man who was super nice! We will definitely be back! If it weren't for our son's wedding next summer, we'd be booking now for 2 weeks!

Mermaid Cottage was so nice! My family had such a lovely time, especially enjoying the back yard which was beautiful. There were a few hiccups but they were taken care of promptly and Louise was a delight to deal with.

Amazing place for friends family
My family and I absolutely loved our stay the home is beautiful and comfortable it was me two adults and a four-year-old we all had comfortable beds and rooms the four year old absolutely loved everything about the house she loved her mermaid room we love the outdoors setting. it was a great atmosphere would come back again
