Nothing, the property was perfect! I would say that that the check in procedure is a little confusing. Requested an early check in but received an email on the day from booking.com to say that the request had been denied. I then received another email to say that we could check in early ‘near Kanazawa station’ (no further information provided). I requested further info via email but didn’t receive a reply. The check in instructions in the listing stated that the door has a pin code. However, the pin didn’t work. We ended up ringing their emergency number and it was resolved very quickly but clearer instructions would have been helpful.

Beautifully renovated old traditional house with all modern amenities. Attention to detail, walkable to all most important attractions in Kanazawa. Easy check in and check out. Hana (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was very helpful. Housekeeping provided. Very good coffee and tea. Excellent communication with the management at every step.

It's not their fault but it is a bit noisy at night with cars driving along this tiny little street clearly at higher than posted speeds.
