Upon our return power was on and we grabbed a hot tub on the amazing 2nd story deck, then played a few games of pool. Very clean. Very professional interactions with staff. We’d definitely stay again!!

We experienced an issue with a broken refrigerator when we first arrived but the maintenance staff responded very quickly and we had a new fridge in the cabin that same day.

We did not have a Mountain View but loved the trees....we felt like we were in a tree house. Quiet, even though we could see the roofs of nearby cabins, did not hear noises. We old folks could not figure out the television remotes and made a call to the office. Fella came right out and helped us navigate the system. The ice maker was not working and, once again, maintenance was on it. Will definitely be back.

The property management offered to send someone out to clean the cabin but we were okay by then. I really enjoyed the check in and check out process. The management really take their time in checking on you while you’re there and if you have questions or concerns, it’s easy to get in touch with them. This was our second time using Elk Springs and I’m sure we’ll use them again in the future!!

For instance, when wiping up water right after our arrival on both the kitchen floor and the bathroom floor, the floors were obviously dirty, as observed by using a white towel. There was visible dirt around the refrigerator and the washer and dryer areas. The tub itself had markings from previous water levels indicating it is either stained, or unclean. There was a sleep mask under the downstairs bed from a previous stay. The cabin however, was well stocked, and had the basics of what we needed for our stay. There cabin was beautiful and the grounds were beautiful. We only use the hot tub one time, because we could not adjust the temperature above 99, and the button for both the temperature and Jets was so hard to push to get the hot tub jets on that we decided not to even use the hot tub. I don’t like to give poor reviews, but I felt these things should be noted.

Went to a show, tried wine and moonshine in Gatlinburg, saw the Christmas decorations and shows In Dollywood and did a lot of shopping. At the end of a long day we relaxed before the fire in our cozy cabin.

Reviewer Comments: We chose this cabin for the driveway and some of the amenities. We came down with our trailer and motorcycle and needed a place with at least 2 parking spaces. The house was okay. A little bit dirty and run down. The hot tub was gross and only half the jets worked. The AC was broken and they needed to put in a window unit since they couldn't get it working. The fire pit on the deck was not operational and we were told it couldn't be fixed. That's one of the perks of why we picked that cabin. Overall pretty disappointing experience.

Cabin had large king master bedroom upstairs with large bathroom. 2nd floor game room with pool table and arcade game player. Balcony had a hot tub. Great space for my son and his wife. I didn't want to do stairs so it was great that there was a main floor bedroom smaller but with also a king bed right off the kitchen. Large great room with comfy seating for 6 open to the dining area that had picnic table like seating for 8. This was great because 2 other couples were also staying on the property and we could use this cabin as the gathering spot, great great for playing games, watching movies together, and meals.Nice sized kitchen had all amenities and full fridge, plenty of room for all the food and icemaker. Full balcony around the main floor with plenty of nice chairs. Grill has a broken lighter but we were able to use matches and enjoy it's use. Having seen the layouts for the other 2 couple's cabins, this was perfect for our group of 8 to hang out in. After a day or 2 in the area we really appreciated the wooded privacy in a relatively close Location to attractions, but quiet and natural Surroundings. Only one major problem. The 3 cabins were originally reserved by my brother-in-law. Later when we wanted to change each property into the name of the couple using it, we had serious trouble, ending up with one email and 1 person's name in all 3 contracts and the phone number on all 3 for someone else. The company did not seem able to correct these contracts easily. But all email communications went to one family, all texts and phone communications went to a different family, and the 3rd family never did get any information unless we sent it to them. To correct the company said they would have had to cancel all the contracts and start all the paperwork over. That was not acceptable. Fortunately we were all related so we managed. Still I would happily go back to this property, it was just right for the area.

The cabin was quite spacious compared to others in the price range. Every thing was clean and supplies stocked well. I highly recommend. The staff at elk springs are awesome as well they call to make sure everything is good and you can communicate via text with them as well and they are quick to respond!

Unfortunately as we settled in, there was dust on the coffee table, side tables in bedrooms and the dressers. The bed cover/blanket had visible stains. Fortunately the sheets were clean. Some of the towels had stains on them and we had to pick and choose which we could use. There were no hangers in the closets. The water pressure was very low. The downstairs bathtub had a slow drain. So we could only use the upstairs shower. We wanted to love the cabin but checked out a day early because there were just too many little things wrong. Its a cabin but calling it luxury...

Yes I would recommend to a friend or family. We enjoyed Guys Chicken in Gatlinburg and shopping and visiting the stores. In the future please leave at least 3 trash bags for all trash cans as the kitchen trash can only had 1 bag so had to go to store immediately to go get trash bags. Called customer service but did not offer to bring any and was told they only provide starter bag but the bathroom trash had 3 bags but kitchen only had 1 bag no extra. Gas outside fireplace was not working as the starter switch was broken or not working.

The cabin was more secluded than the other cabins so parking was easy. Check in and check out was a breeze! They called during our stay to make sure we were pleased with everything. Highly recommend!
