Stayed four nights in this lovely place. Very walkable to everything Friday Harbor. Love the big deck looking out over the harbor and all the flowers that adorn it. Would like to see them up their game with the in-room coffee. Instant coffee packets and half and half cups that were left out (why not in the refrigerator?) and had curdled.

Great location with a fantastic view of the marina

I loved everything about this property except the thin walls. You could do something about the slamming doors; however, people should understand after the first time their door slams, they need to hold it to close it.

Great location on Friday Harbor. Shared patio space had excellent view. Room was small but neat. Perfect for our two night stay. The shared walls are thin but the room was supplied with ear plugs and a noise machine.

We had a great time staying at the Cannery Inn. The hotel has everything you need and self check-in was a breeze. On our way out after the weekend we even stowed a bag or two at their office in Friday Harbor, which we were happy they graciously allowed after checkout. The only thing that would've made the stay better is thicker walls. We could almost hear everything the couple adjacent to our room was saying and doing. The street noise wasn't bad though and it was quiet otherwise. The deck is a great amenity, we had a great time sitting out there. All in all, we will be back!

Thin walls
It is true that the walls are thin but ear plugs are provided if you’re a light sleeper. Great location! Very clean with an amazing view from the deck.

The location could not be better, but the view of the harbor is the highlight. Watching fireworks from the balcony was simply the best. We could have sold tickets to the balcony and probably should have! The room is fairly small, the bed creaks, and few amenities. Still, the location and view are second to none in Friday Harbor.

It was hard to sleep because our neighbors were extremely noisy and loud, and the walls are paper-thin. This place isn't designed to accommodate vacationers. Two chair and a table in the room would be so useful because there was a lot of rain and wind when we were there making it difficult to sit at the patio. No conditioner or body wash. That's the bare minimum one would expect. The bath drain pools while showering and hot water smells bad. Overall not a great stay other than the convenient location. I wouldn't stay there again. Especially the noise made it impossible and not enough amenities to make it worth it.

Nice, convenient, clean place to stay in Friday Harbor. There was no air conditioning, but the room ventilated pretty well with the window and doors. The patio seating had a great view of the harbor and other islands. The only issue was that the walls were a bit thin, but there were provided earplugs, and nothing was loud enough to interrupt our sleeping. We would definitely look in to staying here again.

The place is beautiful. The location couldn’t be better. But sleep is critical. The bed hurt our backs and sides of ribs. Every morning woke up in pain.

Island Getaway
It is a tastefully updated studio that is just on the edge of town. A short walk to restaurants and my favorite coffee shop, Crows Nest Coffee. Excellent value for the room rate.

Loved my stay. Would select a different room at same place next time as there was little ventilation possible. Patio doors opened to very public space so I couldn’t sleep with them open and room became stuffy. Nicely appointed furnishings. Definitely will return.

We arrived on the island on the ferry and were happy that we could easily walk to our room. The service is limited while you stay. No cleaning, change of towels, etc. The location is next to a local hall that hosts events and can be noisy and the rooms are not well insulated so you hear people coming and going in the hallway. It is expensive for what you get and we would not recommend it if you have other options

This spot is everything we want in a place to stay on San Juan. great convenient location, but a bit off the main drag so it's quiet. Nice design, amenities and lovely view over the marina. The property managers are awesome.
