Exceeded my expectations
I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful my stay was.
The place is lovely, the location is wonderful but the highlight was the kindness of Ken and Pam.
I’m very grateful that I had the chance to meet them and spend a lovely month at their property.
Thank you so much Ken and Pam! If I have the chance, I’ll stay here again for sure!

This is one of those places where you want to write a review because it is so nice and the owner is too. On the other hand, you don't want to share because you want it to be available when you want to book it! LOL.
My daughter and I stayed here when she had a couple days orientation to UC Irvine. I came with her, had a little UCI orientation myself, but also worked during the day while she was gone. (I work in my own business and therefore have some flexibility where I work). There's enough room to spread out files, sit on the couch or work at the desk. My laptop was having trouble connecting to the wifi, but not sure why...I used my cell phone as a hotspot and was fine. The location is perfect --near UCI and Fashion Island, where we shopped and had a few meals. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the shower had a strong enough flow. Quiet place. Being able to have fresh air and moderate temps was lovely. Easy groceries and dining places nearby.
My husband and I will be staying here when we come to visit our daughter! I would definitely recommend this to our friends.

The carriage house for our needs perfectly. Located in beautiful Newport Beach, it was a great alternative to pricey, charmless hotels. The owner was helpful and eager for us to enjoy our stay. Will certainly return here again as we often visit family in the neighborhood.

The Carriage House was perfect! It was the perfect place for us to stay for a quick get away to the beach. Everything was very close, Newport Beach, Fashion Island and Laguna Beach. Ken was a wonderful host and provided some great tips for the trip, and the studio was clean and private. We will definitely be back!

Cozy&comfortable!
My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the carriage house! The property is beautiful and the weather was great! The place is decorated nicely and you can tell they put a lot of thought into making it comfortable and welcoming. There was also extra information on what to do around the area, a nice bonus. We were very pleased with this place.

Newport Beach Carriage House
This studio apartment was perfect for our needs. It is located in a nice but quiet residential area no far from the Newport Beach shops and restaurants or the ocean. The unit is clean, comfortable and well equipped and we found our host and hostess to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this apartment rental.

Perfect in every way
Everything is as it appears in the photos and is a wonderful place to stay - clean, comfortable, attractive, quiet, convenient to shops, restaurants and places of interest. The unit is above the garage so there is plenty of privacy from the main house and the owners are delightful. We didn't need help with directions or places to go because we had lived in the area ten years ago and knew where we wanted to go, etc. However, we were offered help if we needed it for anything and were asked, as we were going or coming a few times, if everything was OK. We were there for four nights and most definitely would stay there again. We have already told several friends about it.

Memories of a lifetime...
This was the perfect place for a getaway. Close to everything and very comfortable. Ken was extremely kind and very helpful. I willl definately stay here again. The property was exactly as described and pictured. Ken was very responsive when booking. All of the nearby beaches and Balboa Island were great. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful stay
This was a gorgeous and peaceful place and Ken was so accommodating. It is very private and, although it's at the back of the main house, there is a separate entrance. Exquisite garden and pool view from balcony. Great value.

Wonderful Vacation Destination!
Our stay in the Carriage House was ideal for us. The accommodations are spacious, well maintained and very clean. We really appreciated having a very comfortable bed with lovely linens provided. We were on the go most days but loved relaxing in the room during our down time. Looking out over the beautifully decorated pool area was delightful. The owners are very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with, providing ample information about places to visit in the area. We highly recommend a stay at the Carriage House!

Awesome studio in a great location!!!
My wife and I recently spent four nights in the Carriage House studio and loved it!!!. The studio was very clean and well maintained and looked exactly as it was represented by the pictures in the posting. The studio is above a detached garage, so you are in fairly close proximity to the hosts' home, but the studio was very quiet and we felt as if we had all the privacy we wanted/needed. The host and hostess were really, really nice and very helpful in suggesting fun things to do/see and great places to eat! Furthermore, the host was very responsive upon my initial inquiry about the studio's availability and was always available to answer questions or provide suggestions. The studio is located in the beautiful Harbor View homes neighborhood which was quiet and provided quick, easy access to Corona del Mar, Balboa Island, Fashion Island/Newport Center, Crystal Cove State Park, Disneyland, and many great restaurants! On our next visit to Newport Beach we would love to stay here again!!! Thanks!!!

Terrific way for a couple to experience Newport Beach and surrounding area. Quiet, clean, wonderful hosts. Great value...sure beats staying at a hotel. Highly recommend.
