Steps from the beach, a short walk to Santa Monica pier and so many restaurants within walking distance. We walked everywhere and loved the beach walking paths, especially early mornings. Patio is large and perfect for when family came by. Highly recommend.

Nice apartment. As advertised. The managers are very responsive and easy to work with. No AC in the living areas. AC in bedroom. Very close to beach and nice restaurants. Parking was not a problem as two passes were provided.

This was the perfect place for me and my kids. Cute and cozy. Walking distance to the beach, pier, restaurants and downtown. Owner was very receptive to messages. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great. All the amenities of home. Beach is super close. Quiet street nestled in the downtown core. Close to all activities. Home was a home away from home spacious and roomy. Great communication with host.

Wonderful place!

We stayed 3 nights after a cross country drive. Our son was with us the first night and was very comfortable on the day bed in the living room. We enjoyed a nice walk to the pier and into downtown for supper. It was so convenient to keep the car parked at the house and walk 5 minutes down the block to the beach.

The place is wonderful - exactly as listed! The location is fantastic and the host was very responsive and nice. We will definitely stay again.

Drove down from the Bay Area where the weather has stubbornly resisted committing to spring. Had a fantastic few days here in this adorable pied-a-terre! Terrific location 1/2 block from the beach. Easy walk to Main Street, the Pier, great restaurants and shopping. My favorite thing, though, was the abundant jasmine in full bloom at the entry gate. Such an amazing welcome every time I returned from an outing!! I absolutely plan to stay again!! Thank you!

All I can say is "Wow!" This place was perfect! We were in town for a graduation and we wanted a not-too-expensive place that was close to the beach, that would allow us to have a few friends over for celebration, and would let us bring our beloved dog. This wonderfully appointed, immaculately clean, and just one block from the beach home met and exceeded all our expectations. The home is not huge -- "cozy" -- but was perfect for my wife and me. We had another family join us for dinner and the patio area was great for entertaining. Comfortable seating, good gas grill, and a gas heater. Both the grill and the heater had full tanks of gas and the electric ignition worked perfectly!

We very much enjoyed the property and the location close and walkable to the beach.

Overall location is very good aside from steep stairs to go to the apartment which is tricky with heavy luggages. Host is very responsive for communication. There is no dishwasher (not fully equipped kitchen), pots and pans looks very old. Dishwashing sponge was old. There were only few towels for family of 4 with 5 days of stay. There are heavily used (less than 0.5 inch remaining) candles in the rooms, unclear even why they were there. There were also some other person’s yoga cloths on the floor by the bed so unclear if room was cleaned and checked after previous person’s stay.

This is an absolute gem of a place! Absolutely loved our stay here.

This is a cute little cabin, tucked in right behind Shutters with walking access to everything in Santa Monica. Pet friendly. Second floor location, so one feels safe leaving windows open for the sea breeze. Note that there are some fairly steep steps, so probably not for the infirm, but otherwise great stay for the value/location. Very clean.

This is an amazing property. Extremely clean, manicured, and picturesque. Also steps from the beach and Santa Monica pier. There are bikes, scooters, surf boards, and boogie boards all there to use. Just completely perfect

I stayed here for 3 night with a cavapoo puppy and it was the perfect spot. The proximity to the beach was so nice - sunsets at the beach every day. Parking was not an issue for me as I was there during the weekdays. The property is very pet friendly and has an enclosed outdoor patio that is shared with the owner and other tenants. Would definitely book again!

We (parents and a 10-year old kid) stayed for 8 days and had a terrific experience. We had been to Santa Monica before, but this was the first quiet vacation rental without much noise in the night. We will definitely come back.

The site description makes the place feel a little smaller than it is. Actually its great with a decent double and a living room/bed room 2 where the 2 teenagers stayed but room for a breakfast table and another in the well-equipped kitchen. Characterful, felt safe and perfect for the beach and easy for parking. The owner and her helper are lovely too. Would thoroughly recommend and so much nicer than other somewhat faceless more ££ options.

Weekend getaway gem! Super close to the beach and a very cozy spot!

We had a great time at Elizabeth's home. We really appreciated the proximity to the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. The apartment is well furnished and well stocked, and use of the surfboards was an extra nice plus. A few things to know about parking: As noted, there is street parking with a parking permit. When we arrived Friday early evening, we found a spot right away. But we went out Saturday evening, and when we came back around 9:45 p.m., there was nothing available, and traffic was horrendous. We circled a bunch and eventually found parking 45 minutes later on the main street in front of a meter, which meant getting up early to move the car, which we were able to do and found a spot in front of the house again. Same thing happened on Sunday evening. There is the beach lot parking permit, but you have to be in that lot before sunset, and are stuck in there until the next morning. (This is not a criticism, just an FYI if you're bringing a car.)

Really enjoyed my time at the beach house. Having the windows open and ocean breezes blowing was wonderful. I used the kitchen and it was well stocked. Appreciated the a/c unit in the bedroom. Renters should note there is no a/c throughout the rest of the apartment, if that's a concern for you. It wasn't for me. Walkable to the beach, great coffee shop and restaurant just around the corner, and more. Bonus for me was I could walk to my client's office too. Great stay - highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at this Beach House. It was clean and well maintained and extremely close to the beach and the pier. So much fun!
