The cottage was quirky but clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was nicer than the pictures reflected. There are multiple entrances and we found one unlocked a day later. I recommend checking all doors when you check in - the neighborhood isn't great. Also, be prepared for multiple threats in the check-in materials about how to leave the property. You will pay a cleaning fee but will be expected to take all garbage out to the cans, start the laundry, and several other items. Failure to do these things will result in an hourly rate of $45 charged back to you. I felt that if I had to leave the place clean, I don't know why I was charged such a large cleaning fee. Also, the tone of the instructions left a negative feeling about my stay.

This “cottage” was excellent. The house was very clean and the house quite comfortable. We had an problem figuring the heat but one text fixed that. The beds were perfect for our party of three and one of the most comfortable beds we ever stayed in at a rental. We look forward to staying here again.

What a fantastic property! It's in a great location, which makes it easy to get around – we took Uber and there was always an available car within 5-7 minutes of the house. We walked to the grocery store and although we couldn’t get to any of the neighborhood restaurants for lunch or dinner, we did go to Sweet Life Patisserie, an amazing bakery just a couple blocks away, and had a fantastic breakfast one morning.
The backyard is awesome, with the right amount of shade and privacy – we found ourselves sitting out there every day for coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon/evening. It was incredibly refreshing.
We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

The master bed was like sleeping in a cloud! The cottage is charming and had everything I needed. It had a lovely garden and the entire neighborhood was full of flowers. It’s very close to downtown, the Rose garden and lots of food and activities.

The rental is a cute, little, vintage cottage. The rose bushes out front are actually in the yard next door, but they are beautiful and smell great. The house is comfortable and in a quiet part of town. The neighborhood is great for walking to get some exercise, look at all the beautiful old homes, and enjoy the gardens, which, at this time of year, are very colorful. There are lots of rhododendrons blooming.

This is a sweet spacious craftsman style bungalow located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access in & around Eugene. It was impeccably clean & welcoming for our arrival.

The upstairs main suite was perfect, and that bed is oh-so comfortable!! The fair conditioning units kept the entire house a nice, cool temperature, even during a heat wave. And the location of the house was great. Bring your bikes and you can cycle anywhere from there!!

This was our first time in Eugene, and this location was a really great one to access several places in town! Delicious restaurants are right around the corner and it was easy to get to the main areas in town and to South Eugene. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the property manager was very responsive in getting to us to let us back in. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating our second anniversary here. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom, a kitchen equipped with the basics, perfect for a couple but with enough space to cook for a small group if needed.
The house was close enough to everything we wanted to go to in the area that walking was feasible for some and the drive for the rest was still short. Just far enough off the main roads to avoid noisy traffic, but was still super easy to find when we first arrived.
Hot water supply was a little limited, but good enough for two people. The lighting in the bathrooms doesn't quite illuminate the showers well, and the master bathroom has a funny half tub and a shower stall instead of a full tub/shower, but everything was clean and well supplied.
Overall great place to stay, my partner and I agreed this would be on our short list for future visits to the area.

My husband and I were visiting family so the house was great to back to after a day full of sight seeing. We did not use the first floor bedroom but it was great to keep our luggage in. The king bed was really comfy too.

House was charming, comfortable, and clean. Bath linens were soft, thick, and plentiful. Beds were comfy. There is a Japanese-style soaking tub as well as showers. Good eating places within walking distance.

Great little cottage!
We found the cottage to be just the perfect size for our family of 3 with 2 spacious bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. There was plenty of room in the living space & kitchen & it was nice to have access to do laundry. We were in town for the HS National track meet being held at Hayward Field & the short drive was easy to get to as well as the downtown area with great restaurants & such. Thank you Kalona for opening your lovely & super clean home to us, we had a wonderful stay in Eugene!

Our family of four spent a great a week and a half at the property! The cottage was ideally located to downtown and UO, and very clean and comfortable. It really was everything we could have asked for and more! Also, Kalona was great... very accessible and helpful!

We were in a perfect neighborhood full of stunning trees with easy access to freeways, walking to the busy and wonderful Saturday farmer’s market, to restaurants and patisserie and a neighborhood park. 5 minutes drive to the stunning rose garden and the river park for walking.
The upstairs is bright and cheery. The bedroom downstairs has twin beds. We wished the lighting was better. Dining area for four. Kitchen has minimal cooking equipment. The stove has two burners and a griddle. Each room has its own heater which heated the house well Recommendations are better lighting, better working cable tv , yet overall a fine place to stay .
