This property is lovely. Amazing views from the big picture window and the seating area set up especially for guests to enjoy a morning coffee on a private patio. John was great to work with. He and Gail gave us perfect restaurant suggestions. Close to Mahones Bay and Peggys Cove.

The hosts are very welcoming, and the size of the apartment is just right for 2 people looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle of life. A quick stroll will take you to historic ‘downtown’ with shops and great restaurants, and again the amazing views of the harbour from the wharves.

A warm welcome to the apartment by John in Lunenburg. A great location, stunning views over the harbour and Lunenburg. A very comfortable apartment providing a relaxing stay, many hours spent in the picture window enjoying the views. Well equipped, spacious, all the necessities for a few days break.

Very clean place but more important was the outstanding view right from the main window , plus you can easily walk into town of Lunenburg to avoid parking issues.

Such a lovely view to enjoy all Lunenburg has to offer. A fantastic experience. The accommodations we’re great, the beds wonderful, lots of space. Most importantly, the view was amazing. A quick walk to a wonderful historic town.

The property was clean, well equipped, centrally located and quiet. The hosts were responsive, pleasant and available. The only caution is that the internet was very inconsistent and unreliable which we were told would be addressed.

We travelled to Lunenburg for the folk festival which was going to be the highlight but when we saw John and Gail’s property and the stunning view it was a toss up for which was the highlight. Both John and Gail were gracious hosts and welcomed us into their home upon arriving. Everything you could possibly need was at the property but I think the stunning view is what left a place in my heart. Thank you so much for sharing part of Lunenburg with us!

We are repeat visitors to John and Gail's VRBO so that about sums it up. Liked it so much the first time we had to come back again. Very nice unit with one of the prettiest views of Lunenburg you will find. Enjoyed daily walks along the water over to town. This is a great place from which to explore and enjoy Lunenburg and the South Shore.

The location was perfect. It has the best view of Lunenburg. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. John and Gail were great hosts.

My husband is handicapped and vision impaired. This apartment was the best we have ever rented. We have come frequently to NS in the past, but Covid stopped it the last couple of years. We could not have asked for a better location, even though we are no longer active, just to sit in The front window and watch the Bay was awesome. Well equipped, even a washer and dryer made it perfect for us! You can’t go wrong with this place ❤️

Comfortably furnished, spacious place with an inspiring view of Lunenburg and sunrises and easy walking / biking to restaurants, bars, attractions (Blue Rocks, La Have). Many deer in area provide extra entertainment (max seen on front lawn = 7!) Would stay again.

The grocery store and liquor store were both a short drive away and fabulous sights such as Mahone Bay (with the 3 churches), Blue Rocks and more also a short drive from town. John and Gail's VRBO apartment is a complete 1 BR self contained unit with one of the best views of Lunenburg that one can find. John and Gail are delightful. The unit is very well equipped. It is a 5-10 minute walk over to the town centre on the waterfront. We enjoyed some of the restaurants and live music while admiring the Bluenose which was in port during our stay. The golf course is 2 minutes away. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Waking up each morning to a beautiful sunrise looking out into the Harbour was just magical. Theses hosts are top notch and, I would definitely stay here again. I will recommend this listing to anyone looking for a relaxing epic stay.
