Matt and Anna have created a very special place in Bolara. Aside of being aesthetically beautiful, for us, it was a peaceful and re-invigorating space to just ‘be’ after a fair while travelling through Europe. Their attention to detail, great local recommendations and engaging approach was always much appreciated and the excellent food, a real treat. We would love to return one day!

We would have appreciated a station with a jug to make our own hot drinks but other than that, it was perfect!

If you are into "slow life" and nature this is poetry for your soul.

Amazing homegrown fresh food, great breakfast and dinner, lovely hospitality! Fabulous setting and house, staff extremely friendly and accommodating, excellent stay.

The Staff there is very friendly. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was very delicious and healthy. The location of the Guesthouse is very quiet and it's very comfy. In search for a few days off we found what we're looking for.

Everything! Matt and Anna were so welcoming. It felt like visiting family. They were always around to answer questions or chat. They did an amazing job renovating the house to keep the original charm of the home. I was a little skeptical about sharing a boardroom but this was never an issue. The setting is peaceful and tranquil. Breakfast each morning was a treat and the dinner (which was an extra cost) was so special and definitely worth it! I highly recommend having dinner there if you’re able. It was all fresh from their garden or local ingredients. All meals are also such a lovely opportunity to interact with the other guests. I really cannot recommend enough!

We loved everything about it! The hosts are warm and welcoming people. You really feel at home here. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Dinner cooked by Anna is something you really should try. Amazing. You can read a book in the garden or drive around to many beautiful places. It's very calm and quiet place, perfect for recharging your batteries. Would love to come back.
